Liberal fluid intake in the form of juices, soups, coconut water, lemonade, butter milk can help you prevent dehydration. If still you feel dehydrated it is advisable to start consuming ors on a regular basis. Dissolve 1 packet ors in 1 litre of water and consume within 24 hours. You can consume 1-2 such bottles in a day.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

dear friend, along with the exercise you need to avoid high calories containing foods. Exercise should be regular and according to your capacity. there are few ayurvedic medicines which may also help.

Hye. Thank you for your query. No natural food causes harm if eaten in the right season, right amount and at the right time. Cashewnuts are not harmful in itself. It can be planned into the diet of diabetics or hypertensive people. Cashewnuts do not increase weight or cholesterol or blood sugar levels if eaten correctly.

Yes. You still need to take medicines because your blood sugar is controlled with medicines, diet control and good life style. Get your blood sugar check regularly and if still blood sugar falls then your doctor will reduce medicines gradually.

Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) - How You Can Manage it With Home Remedies?

Urinary tract infections (UTIs), which are infections anywhere along the urinary tract including the bladder and kidneys are on the most common infections in women. These infections can be caused by poor hygiene, impaired immune function, the overuse of antibiotics and the use of spermicides. The most common cause, accounting for about 90 percent of all cases, is the transfer of E. coli bacteria from the intestinal tract to the urinary tract.

Fortunately, there are a few methods of natural treatment and prevention that are drug free and prescription free and more than are effective as well. Go Natural!

Indian Gooseberry (Amla)
Indian Gooseberry is rich in vitamin C which in turn inhibits the growth of bacteria

  • Take a cup of water.
  • Add one teaspoon of Indian gooseberry (amla) powder and one teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  • Boil the solution until half the water evaporates.
  • Drink the residue three times a day for three to five days.

You can also eat more fruits like lemons, oranges, bananas, guava, kiwi, melon, raspberries, tomatoes, and papaya that contain a good amount of Vitamin C.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is a rich source of enzymes, potassium and other useful minerals that can prevent the bacteria that cause UTIs from multiplying or growing. Those suffering from UTIs can use apple cider vinegar as 

  • Natural antibiotic to treat the infection.
  • Add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water. You can also add lemon juice and sweeten with honey. Mix it well.
  • Drink this two times a day for a few days

Baking Soda
Baking soda will raise the acid-base balance of acidic urine and give you relief from the pain. Neutralizing the acidity in the urine also will help speed up recovery. Simply add one teaspoon of baking soda to a glass of water and drink it once or twice a day.

Blueberries
Blueberries have bacteria-inhibiting properties that can help in the treatment of UTIs. The antioxidants present in blueberries are good for the immune system, and they prevent growth of bacteria that causes UTIs.

  • You can add some fresh blueberries to your favorite cereal and have it for breakfast.

You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Prolactin test only detects prolactin levels and in order to detect pregnancy take a Urine pregnancy test. A 20 years old can have her breast leaking if she has high prolactin levels which happens during pregnancy and after delivery.

Dear user tea prepared with jaggery is always good than to Hv tea with refined sugar, jaggery is rich source of iron, potassium, various vitamins, it helps in detoxification of liver, good for digestive system, enhances immunity, but it should b consumed in huger doses. Hi lybrate-user its gud to see that you r focusing on your body. Its my advise to you don't go for any protein shake or medicine have home made foods, eat some amount of ghee or oil like in form of tadka, on chapati, as well as be physically active so as to get fit nd fine nd for better health nd this is the right tym to start focusing on your health so as to be free from disease in later ages. And for breast don't wrry abt it as you get active enough nd gain some weight all thing will b fine. Hope you get my point. मसालों के औषधीय गुण :
जैसे सही मसाले आपके खाने के स्वाद को कई गुना बढ़ा देते हैं, ठीक वैसे ही मसालों की प्रकृति के बारे में सही जानकारी कई बीमारियों को आपसे कोसों दूर भगा सकती है। आप रोज जिन मसालों को उपयोग में लाती हैं, उनके फायदे अनेक हैं। आजमा कर तो देखिएः
हींग: बढ़ती ठंड के कारण आप भी कफ की शिकार हो गई हैं तो हींग को पानी में उबालें। पानी जब हल्का गर्म रहे तो उसे छानकर उस पानी को पिएं। कफ की समस्या में कमी आप खुद महसूस करेंगी। इसके अलावा गैस की समस्या के कारण अगर पेट दर्द हो रहा है तो हींग में हल्का-सा नमक मिलाएं और उसे खाएं। पेट दर्द की परेशानी दूर हो जाएगी। तेजपत्ता: तेजपत्ता के तेज में एंटीफंगल और एंटी बैक्टीरियल गुण होते हैं और फंगल या बैक्टीरियल इंफेक्शन को दूर करने में यह कारगर होता है।
लाल मिर्च: लाल मिर्च में एंटीऑक्सिडेंट्स होते हैं। ये कोलेस्ट्रॉल की बढ़ती मात्र पर अंकुश लगाते हैं और साथ ही कैलोरीज कम करने में भी मदद करते हैं।
दालचीनी: यह शरीर में इंसुलिन के प्राकृतिक निर्माण को बढ़ावा देता है और कोलेस्ट्रॉल को नियंत्रित रखता है।
लौंग: दांत या मसूढ़े में दर्द है तो मुंह में एक लौंग रख लें। दर्द में लाभ मिलेगा। सीने में दर्द, बुखार, पेट की परेशानियां और सर्दी-जुकाम में भी लौंग फायदेमंद साबित होता है।
इलायची: खीर या मिठाई आदि में आप इलायची के पाउडर का इस्तेमाल तो करती ही होंगी। पर क्या आपको मालूम है, मुंह की बदबू दूर करने में भी इलायची कारगर है। इसके अलावा पेट की समस्याओं को भी यह दूर करती है। अगर डायबिटीज की समस्या है तो साबुत इलायची खाएं।
जीरा: जीरा आयरन का एक अच्छा स्नोत है और शरीर की रोगप्रतिरोधक क्षमता को मजबूत रखने में कारगर होता है। पेट खराब होने की स्थिति में पानी में जीरा उबालने के बाद उस पानी को छानकर पीने से लाभ मिलता है।
अदरक: ठंड के मौसम में अदरक वाली चाय पीने की सलाह तो आपने हजार बार सुनी होगी। अदरक कफ और कोल्ड से बचाने का काम करता है। इसके अलावा यह पाचन तंत्र को भी मजबूत रखता है।
करी पत्ता: रायते के स्वाद को बेहतर बनाने वाला करी पत्ता खून में शुगर की मात्र को कम करने में भी मददगार है।
मेथी: अगर डायबिटीज की शिकार हैं तो हर दिन जरा-सी मेथी खाएं। असर जल्द ही महसूस करेंगी। इसके अलावा मेथी कोलेस्ट्रॉल कम करने में भी मददगार होती है।
लहसुन: ठंड के मौसम में सेहतमंद और सर्दी-जुकाम से बचकर रहना है तो अपने खाने में लहसुन को शामिल करें। इसमें एंटीबायोटिक गुण होते हैं। इसके अलावा जोड़ों के दर्द को दूर करने में भी लहसुन वाला तेल फायदेमंद है।
पीली सरसों: सरसों का तेल शरीर की मसाज में और बालों के सही विकास में उपयोगी माना जाता है। सरसों ओमेगा-3 फैटी एसिड का अच्छा स्नोत है। यह आयरन, जिंक, मैग्नीशियम, कैल्शियम और प्रोटीन से भी भरपूर होता है।
काली मिर्च: सर्दी-जुकाम और इंफेक्शन से बचाने के अलावा काली मिर्च मांसपेशियों के दर्द को दूर करने में भी कारगर होती है। काली मिर्च के इस्तेमाल से पाचन तंत्र से जुड़ी परेशानियों से भी छुटकारा पाया जा सकता है।
हल्दी: तमाम दवा खाने के बाद भी कफ से निजात नहीं मिल रही है तो हल्दीवाला दूध पिएं, फायदा मिलेगा। हल्दी त्वचा संबंधी परेशानियों को दूर करने में भी मददगार है। यह शरीर की रोगप्रतिरोधी क्षमता को मजबूत बनाती है, जिससे शरीर बीमारियों से लड़ने के लिए खुद को तैयार कर लेता है

Vascular Lesion - Things To Consider Before Getting Such Birth Defect Corrected!

Vascular lesions: Cutaneous vascular lesions are the most common birthmarks found in children. The vascular malformations have a tendency to persist but hemangiomas may involute gradually. They are the result of a huge network of vessels that are formed underneath the skin and can lead to complications like pain, bleeding, cosmetic disfigurement, infection, etc. It is necessary to seek treatment for both medical and cosmetic reasons. 

Low flow Cutaneous vascular malformations are best treated by laser surgery and it is effective sometimes for cosmetic reasons. High flow vascular malformations need therapeutic embolisation followed by surgical excision. Hemangiomas may need surgery for residual lesions after involution of the lesion. Use of laser surgery successfully can help in eliminating certain targets (chromophores) within your skin by putting into use the beam of requisite wavelength, energy setting and pulse duration. 

Initially, these caused serious side-effects like scarring of the skin or permanent dyspigmentation but after the development of photothermolysis technique, the side-effects were less seen. Things to keep in mind before lesion treatment The main forms of treatment include laser therapy. Surgery is less used at present as it poses the risk of hemorrhage. The patient should be aware of a few things before going through the treatment procedures. 

1. Cutaneous vascular malformations are best treated by laser surgery for cosmetic reasons. Hemangiomas may need surgery for residual lesions after involution of the lesion. 

2. Laser therapy can treat vascular lesions such as telangiectasias or spider veins, port wine stain, birthmarks and strawberry hemangiomas. The laser is safer and more effective because it proves to be useful in treating the blood vessels of a lesion without affecting the surrounding tissues. 

2. The patient may experience temporary discoloration of the skin surrounding the treatment site. This blue-green discoloration is known as purpura and it usually fades within a week. 

3. A topical antibiotic in the form of an ointment or cream may be required by some patients after the treatment. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon.
