Hi Ratan You need to have 5 small meals to boost your metabolism and focused exercise to get toned muscles. Take whey protein supplement to build muscle. Take a multivitamin along to give best result.

Will vitamin D save my life? Should I really be taking four times the recommended daily dose?

Norma level of vit d is between between 20-50ng/ml. A level less than 20 ng/ml indicates vitamin d deficiency. Vitamin d3 is essential for healthy bone, teeth, muscle, cell growth, immunity, neuro muscular functioning and overall health. Deficiency causes ricket/osteomalacia, poor hair growth, increased risk of cancer. 1. Expose yourself to sunlight for 15-20 minutes daily in the morning 2. Take milk, cheese, egg yolk, fish (salmon/mackerel/ trout/sardines/tuna) cod liver oil, mushroom, cereals, orange juice. 3. If you have deficiency of vitamin d you have to take vitamin d supplement 60000iu/week fo r 3 months after consulting.

Hye, Thanks for the query. You cannot work on a specific body part. You have to work on overall fat loss and toning. You need to basically manage a healthy diet and exercise routine. Try to eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals.   Drink a glass of lime water in the mornings to flush out your system & avoid bloating. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Include exercises that tone your back, pelvic, leg and thigh muscles too. Sometimes a certain shape or feature of our body is genetic. You have to work on toning it and avoiding fat accumulation. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and singular hip exercises or machines alone, on it's own will not give you targeted results. The fats will remain as it is. It's all about overall work out and balanced diet.

You are having 10 Kg extra weight.Your ideal average weight should be 66-69 Kg.The ssecret of losing weight lies inside your mind and strong headed people can only loose weight.So be true to yourself and pledge from today onwardss that you will seriouly implement the below given step in your life style. For loosing weight few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water and I will suggest you to do suryanamaskar daily as per your capacity for a minimum of six months.

You need to increase your weight to areas around 70-75 kgs depending upon your frame. Follow a well balanced diet and strength training is necessary if you want to gain weight on your muscles and avoid getting fat. You need to have better control. Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. It is a difficult task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose – SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS), & HbA1C (inform me) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For sugar control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner.

To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

If you gain muscle mass, you will gain weight. Your diet should contain additional protein, preferably from animal sources. If you lose weight through the training, it will be due to loss of water, salts and hidden fats, all of which is desirable in order to remain healthy.

Reducing weight requires firm determination dat you have to do it anyhow. Follow this to reach your target of 12kgs in two months: ■start your day with fresh fruits. ■ eat your breakfast like your meals. Must be very filling. ■lunch also you can eat 1roti/1bowl rice with the veg of your choice n salads. ■ replace your dinner with only home cooked soups (not ready made soups) or salads n nothing more than that. Some tips>> ● avoid fried foods, sweets, outside food, n carbonated beverages n processed food items. ●cook your meals in just four tbsp of oil. ● drink water before you eat something ●avoid nibbling between meals. ● green tea or any herbal tea to burn your calories must be consumed twice a day. ●Take lemon shots twice a day to suppress hunger. ● switch to healthy foods while choosing your days menu. N lastly follow this seriously for two months. Revert for more detailed menu plan n variations you can use in your cooking.
