I feel weakness from long time and can't done proper exercise in gym. If I do proper exercise or equivalent from my body weight then my head unconscious and not feeling comfortable. And can't done physically work and my body not to be strong. And stamina is very low as compare to my health, height (5'11') and weight (77.400)kg 90% of days I am not going gym for this reason.

Take good food. Take milk and protein supplements. Do not exhaust yourself too much. Increase your salt intake a little bit for some time. Get your postural bp checked to see if its low or fluctuating.

Hi Lybrate-user, कैसे तेजी से घटाएं अपना वज़न? 1. तीन time खाने की बजाये 5-6 बार थोडा-थोडा खाएं: यदि आप सुबह, दोपहर, शाम खाने की बजाये दिन भर में 5-6 बार थोड़ा-थोड़ा खाए तो आप 30% कम कैलोरी consume करते है और आपको भूख भी कम लगती है. 2. नाश्ते के बाद,पानी को अपना main drink बनाएं: नाश्ते के वक़्त orange juice, चाय, दूध इत्यादि ज़रूर लें लेकिन उसके बाद पुरे दिन पानी को ही पीने के लिए इस्तेमाल करें. कोल्ड-ड्रिंक और चाय-कॉफ़ी पर भी पूरा control रखें.इस तरह आप हर रोज़ करीब 200-250 Calories कम consume करेंगे. 3. सब्र रखें: याद रखिये की आज जो आपका weight है वो कोई दो -दिन या दो महीने की देन नहीं है. ये तो बहुत समय से चली आ रही आपकी life-style का नतीजा है. और यदि आपको weight loss करना है तो निश्चित रूप से आपको सब्र रखे.

Vitiligo: 10 Important Facts

  1. Vitiligo is a disease in which the pigment cells of the skin are destroyed in certain areas.

  2. Symptoms and signs of vitiligo include loss of skin color in the form of depigmented, or white patches of skin in any location on the body.

  3. Vitiligo can be focal and localized to one area, or it may affect several different areas of the body.

  4. The exact cause of vitiligo is unknown, although mostly believe that it is an autoimmune condition in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys certain cells within the body.

  5. Most people who have vitiligo will develop the condition prior to age 40; about half develop it before age 20.

  6. Vitiligo may have a genetic component, as the condition tends to run in families.

  7. Vitiligo is not painful and does not have significant health consequences; however, it can have emotional and psychological consequences.

  8. Some treatments can reduce the severity of the condition, but it can be difficult to cure.

  9. There is no known way to prevent vitiligo.

  10. There are some home remedies which may improve appearance.

I am 67 yr. Old and my ht. Is 5'6" and wt. 73kg. I take very restricted food - 2 chapaties and subji in afternoon and 2 chapaties/dal/littel rice at night. I am taking losar plain 25mg in morning and glasiphage 250mg at night but weight reduction is not seen. I have arthritis and want to reduce weight. Please advise.

Change your soap. Use a moisturising agent every night. Usually dry skin causes itching. Also check your diabetes.

Good to hear that you are fit and fine. Take a balanced diet with carbs for ready energy, fats for stored energy, proteins for rebuilding, vegetables and fruits for vitamins and minerals and drink lots of water +++ lots of exercise to digest food and to remain in shape.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

Hello lybrate-user, for early diagnosis of sugar you can undergo a simple random blood sugar level test. If it comes on a higher level then to confirm whether you really suffer from diabetes, you can do a glucose tolerance test (gtt). Hi Dr. I am a overweight guy, I have started doing good exercise in the morning but my weight is not crushing down. I am exerting to out but still it is not going down. Hello! thyroid is a endocrinol disorder. It slows down metabolism rate too. Take small n frequent healthy meal. Stay away from preserved food, ready to eat foods, deep fried food, sugar n sweet items n do exercise for at least 30 min a day. Cinnamon tea might help you to increase metabolism. Take some milk or its product within 2-4 hrs. Of your thyroid drug. Try to avoid soy n products, raw cabbage, raw cauliflower, radish, turnip, broccoli, chinese cabbage etc. (only once in 2-3 weeks after cooking one can use all these). It will help you.

Hello, yes excessive or daily consumption of soy can lead to hormonal imbalance in men leading to this problem. However 1-2 times/week of soy in moderation should not cause any harm.

*Take protein rich food --- seeds, pulses, nuts, Also fruits, vegetables, greens and reduce cereals. Green tea is also good. *Take lemon juice and honey in warm water in the early morning, empty stomach. *Avoid fried foods, processed food and junk food * Maintain food timings * Don’t miss breakfast. *Avoid heavy dinners and late night meals. *Avoid stimulants, aerated drinks etc. and maintain good food habits. * Drink lots of water and juices and keep hydrated. * Have adequate, timely, good night sleep *Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption and blood circulation. Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. If you have T2 diabetes, then you will have to continue taking the medicine to keep blood glucose under control all through the life. There is no cure in diabetes. The day medicine is discontinued, bllod glucose levels will go up and there can be very serious long term complications affecting every single system in the body. As you are saying it is in control, ideally blood glucose should be - fasing <100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. If this kind of a control is not achieved then there can be a multiple long term complications affecting eyes, nerves, kidney, sexual life, heart and lower limbs. Thanks.

Hello, Doing exercises regularly will not only cut down your belly fat, but also you will get a body in good shape and you will be get rid of many diseases related to it! Following exercises will help you to achieve this if you don’t have any other medical condition: 1.The Plank - Lie down on your tummy and then come on your palms and toes.Lift the knees off the floor. Draw your tummy muscles up and breathe deeply into the side and back of the rib cage. Aim to hold the pose for 30 seconds. 2.Static Tiger pose - Place your hands and knees on the floor. This is the starting position. Now lift up one leg and extend the opposite arm. Hold this Static Tiger Pose for 3 deep breaths. Come back to the starting position and swap sides, extending arm and opposite leg. You can look down towards the mat to keep the spine in line. This exercise will build core strength. 3.Sitting Spinal Twist - Sit on the floor and cross your legs. Place one hand next to your hip and the other on the knee. Rotate the spine and look over one shoulder into a Sitting Spinal Twist. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. Swap sides, rotating and looking over the shoulder. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. 4.Stomach Crunches - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Place your hands on your thighs, across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your knees until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 stomach crunches. 5.Oblique Crunch - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Roll your knees to one side down to the floor. Place your hands across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your hips until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 oblique crunches and repeat on the opposite side. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!
