Hi lybrate-user here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

You can test your lung capacity by pft. It's hard to determine the extent of damage to your lungs. Smoking cessation can stop further damage and over few years your lungs will recover slowly. The damage also depends on the exposure in terms of smoke years (number of cigarettes per day x number of years of smoking). You may take help of a psychiatrist if you have difficulty in quitting smoking.

You need to go on a diet of 2000 Kcal per day and increase your exercise. Stop all sugar intake (use Sugar free, equals, splenda) to sweeten your tea/coffee, eat only two chappati / slices of bread with each meal, or one bowl of rice. Fill your tummy with fruits like Papaya, apple and guava, or salads like cucumber, lettuce. You can eat any amount of vegetables cooked in small amounts of oil. Take the white of two boiled eggs every day and white meat like fist / chicken, also cooked in very small amount of oil. Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. The need for male breast surgery-
The requirement for male breast surgery arises due to the occurrence of Gynecomastia or the development of male breasts. In this condition, fat and glandular tissues are stored within the male chest in the pattern of female breasts, thus giving it a feminine look. This is a common occurrence among men and can be a cause of social embarrassment for the man as well as affecting his self esteem. Some of the causes for gynecomastia or male breasts would be
Excessive Weight Gain.
Hormonal changes within the body where testosterone levels drop due to conditions such as Hypogonadism (in men, the inability of the testicle s to function correctly) and estrogen levels increase.

This is obviously caused by hormonal factors and genetics of body shape as well rather than just being obese or overweight.
Types of Male Breast Surgery-
Male breast surgery revolves around breast reduction and contouring to give it a more flat and toned look. This can be achieved in either of these ways:
Liposuction This is a fairly common procedure and is minimally invasive; meant to suck out the fat through a small opening on the skin. With the help of liposuction, doctors can easily contour your chest to have a more masculine look by removing the excess fat. This procedure is a very popular one as it takes less time to recover and also isn t invasive. However, this is used as an option for male breast surgery when the problem isn t acute.
Surgery to remove excess tissues and fat If the male breasts have excessive glandular tissue and the problem is acute, a more extensive form of surgery wherein the glandular tissue is excised may be required. However, this is also not very invasive and you can get back to your regular routine within a few days after surgery.

Hello! if you have lactose intolerance you can use almond milk, soy milk, leafy veg, nuts etc. For calcium source. And if only milk is your issue then go for curd, butter milk, panir etc. If you have sever deficiency of calcium consult a doctor before taking calcium tab.

Add a lot of different fresh seasonal vegetables, raw salads and herbs. This will not only be pleasing to your palate by providing a burst of flavour but will also give it an aesthetic appeal, so the meal doesn’t look boring and monotonous. While you sit to eat, do not just shove the food in your mouth and gulp it down. The idea is to go slow, and enjoy the entire experience, relish your food as you chew it properly to enjoy every flavour in every bite. Focus on what you are eating the texture, the visual appeal, the aroma of the dish. Eating mindfully will make it an enjoyable experience while assisting in better digestion, make you feel more fuller by avoiding overeating and prevent a lot of stomach distress like gas, bloating or acidity Take small portion Eating a smaller portion of food at a time helps in the breakdown of the food in an effective way so that the entire calories obtained from the food are used up by the body for all the bodily functions. When you eat a large meal, the excess energy which goes unused by the system gets stored as fat and causes weight gain. A good idea would be to use smaller plates so the plate looks fuller and psychologically makes you feel that you have eaten enough while eating from a larger plate makes you pile up your plate with more food which in turn makes you eat more calories. Fill up your stomach only up to 80% We have been raised to eat until we are absolutely full so we don’t feel hungry later. Either that or because traditionally Indian consider it a taboo to leave any food on the plates so we eat off the kids plates because he/she won’t eat anymore, also we have seen our moms finish the leftover paratha or grab an extra spoon rice even if they are not too hungry, just so that they don’t have to throw it away as they are usually the last ones to eat. Not realising how much damage we are doing to our bodies by eating more than what our body needs. However, it is better to stuff ourselves and only eat until we feel adequately full. Yes, you will feel hungry after few hours and that ok. It only means less pressure on your intestines and delaying the ageing process of the cells which can prevent heart attacks, diabetes and cancer. Eat small snacks every few hours. Having said that eating till you are 80% full will make you hungry for more, it is a good practice to eat 5-6 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meal pattern of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat a healthy snack like a fresh whole fruit or nuts like almonds, walnuts, unsalted peanuts, pumpkin seeds, low fat curd or unsalted chaas, hard boiled eggs between main meals every 2-3 hours. This will help to keep you burning more calories throughout the day as the digestion process continuous to keep your metabolism up and running. Also, your body will thank you for feeling light and energetic throughout the day because of the regular supply of an array of nutrients and maintaining your blood sugar levels Have a light supper or dinner As they say, Eat breakfast like a King, Lunch like a commoner and dinner like a popper it is important to start the day with a filling wholesome breakfast to kick start your metabolism and taper down your meals as the sun goes down. Your last meal should happen atleast 3 hours before your bedtime so the body has enough time to digest the meal properly before you go to bed. If you eat a heavy meal too close to bedtime, the body cannot digest it properly leading to indigestion, acid reflux, disturbed sleep making you wake up next morning feeling sluggish and tired. As the day goes the body tends to slow down and to go into a repair and recovery mode to heal the body from the days stress and wear and tear. Also, since we are not physically active in the night time all the excess calories get stored as fat in the body Eat vegetables first Vegetables are full of fibre and when you consume them first, this fibre helps to cover whatever is eaten after and inhibits insulin spikes and the speed at which sugar is transported into the blood. Proteins such as fish, chicken, paneer or sprouts are harder to digest when they are eaten first and everything else eaten after would take time making you feel bloated. Raw vegetables contain a digestive enzyme that helps break down proteins. Eat more fiber Eating more fiber, makes feel fuller, can increase satiety and makes you lose weight. Hi to increase weight you should improve your digestive system. By digesting your indigested food with the help of remedy and medicines will ultimately increase your appetite and digestive system. Go for natural, organic foods if you can. Drink plenty of water also, drinking water with lemon is cleansing and healthy for you. Avoid things like soda, diet soda or any drinks, artificial colors and sweeteners, white flour, overly processed foods, fast food, etc your morning breakfast starting should be from oatsmeal. Its best for healthy fit. One or two fruit should be consume daily. Pulses curd paneer etc high protein diet are very good for being fit. You shuld take proper 7 to 8hr sleep in night. Consume high fibre diet. Your diet shuld be rich in fruits and vegetables. Avoid junk foods. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week.
