Start doing some physical activity. Have a small frequent meals.Avoid processed food ,sugar ,canned foods and include vegetables,sprouts and wholegrain in you diet. I would suggest to have a proper diet plan with an advice of dietician.

Please note the followings in respect to your queries: Banana and Milk -- Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. Note – Don’t eat bananas when you are down with common cold. If you have any medical disease that needs to be treated. Find a great personal trainer and yoga instructor to keep you consistent. Take Five phos - 4 tablets twice daily.

Basically I am a fitness freak. I am dealing with stress for the past 1 month & I am out of my shape. I want to get back in shape within 2 wks. Atleast I want to shred the fat as early as possible. Hi Gaurav, Over weight with weakness is a result of consuming high calories with low intake/ low absorption of Vitamins and minerals . To reverse both ( excess weight and weakness) , we need to consume low calorie food with good nutritional value of Vitamins and minerals. Take 750 mg Trikatu Churna , 1/2 an hour prior meals . Along this remedy, start following long term change in food and lifestyle patterns:- Start your day about 06: 00 AM with 10 minutes deep breath. Repeat it about 5 times /day. For a hypothyroid condition there is no specific or special food. And it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the thyroid levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar if having insulin resistance. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into lowered metabolism. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline. But don't give up. A good diet and exercise will help keep metabolism going.

you should be around 67-71 kg so you need to loose at least 30 kg weight to come in the ideal body weight category, only walking and surya namaskar won't help, get a good diet planned for yourself along with 45 min to 1 hour of workout schedule, for at least one year.

There is no healthy shortcut way to weight gain, infact its more difficult than weight loss. In a month how many kg's you want to gain. Have a balanced diet with some strength training workout for 30 min every alternate day.

Cancer symptoms you shouldn't ignore

Most often than not, cancer comes unannounced and rocks our world. While of late routine tests are being encouraged, it is advisable to keep a look out for symptoms which are commonly overlooked. Some of them are:

1. Peculiar back pain - it has been noticed that the first symptom for liver cancer in many cases is pain the back of the lower back side of the body. Back pain could also be a symptom for breast cancer, in cases where the tumour is pressing backwards, into the chest.
2. Unexplained nail marks - nails often reflect the condition of our health. If there is a sudden and unexplained change in the fingernails, like maybe a dot/a black mark or a brown mark under the nail, this could be a sign of lung cancer.
3. Sensitive skin patches - if there is a lump on the skin or a patch feels sore, is crusty or bleeds very easily then this could be a symptom of skin cancer. It is important to be aware of all changes in your skin, throughout the body.
4. Unexplained facial puffiness - if your face seems puffy, read or swelled, without any logical explanation, this could be a symptom.
5. Unusual menstruation - if you are having unusually heavy and painful periods, it is advisable to request for a transvaginal ultrasound as this could be a symptom of uterine cancer.
6. Changes in breast (s) - this is the most common change which women who have been diagnosed of breast cancer have reported. If the nipple is flattened, inverted or turned sideways, it could be a symptom for breast cancer. Also, if the breast feels read, sore or swollen, it could be a symptom.
7. Frequent stomach problems - frequent upset stomachs and cramps could be the symptom of colorectal cancer.
8. Unreasonable weight loss - if you are losing a lot of weight without even trying to, this could be an early sign of colon or any other digestive cancer. It could also mean that the cancer is spreading to the liver, if your appetite is getting affected.
9. Blood in stool - if there is blood in your stool, this could be a symptom of colorectal cancer and you need to go for a colonoscopy.

Dear lybrate-user, I hope you are doing ok. I am sorry that your husband is having an affair, I can only imagine how you must be feeling. But pls remember that it's not your fault so don't blame yourself. People are unfaithful because of various reasons. The decision to go outside ones marriage is purely our own, we have to take responsibility for that. Having said that, how is he behaving now? Has he admitted to the affair? I would suggest that you have an honest conversation with him, about what this woman means to him, is she is the only woman he has been involved with post marriage etc? I would also suggest couples counselling, this will help you and him reach a decision about the marriage and help you resolve a lot of the things that may not be working in the marriage if you decide to stay together. For now, pls compose yourself, stay calm, deep breathe and think with a clear head. Instead of getting angry and focusing on the problem, focus on the solution. Hope things work out for you. A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea C. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen every day. Slow and steady wins the race.

Gaining weight is a gradual process. First rule out any diseases in you. Even a simple prolonged allergy may cause weight loss. A systematic way of life will do good for healthy body. Do exercise daily for half an hour. Eat well balanced food (A moderate working man of 50 kg needs 1100-1400 kg cal of carbohydrate, 50gms of protein and 20% of fat as macronutrients and also micronutrients in mgs as well. Weight is proportional to height also. I.e.- 150 cms height person need 50 kg, which is ideal weight.

Hye. Thanks for the query. It's possible you are deficient nutrients needed for bone health. Get your calcium, vitamin D checked.
