Hello, Do 12 sets of Surya namaskar if you do not have time. Practice breathing exercises. Drink lots of water, as most time thirst signals are masked by hunger and one adds extra calories to the diet. Exercise helps to regulate appetite.

For so many months there has been burning sensation around the balls and on the skin. Smelling like rotten fish It's get wetty most of the times and yellow spots on the underwear. Pinky patches have formed on the inner thighs.

do regular exercise,running,cycling, jogging,rope skipping,yogasanas. Use warm water for drinking,take healthy ,warm food,fresh fruits,dry fruits,take proper rest,sound sleep. Avoid- chilled water,cold drink, foods kept in fridge,oily,spicy,outside food. avoid late night works, travelling , overexertion during menstruation.

Change food habites. Avoid too oily end ghee prepretions (like kachory, samosa aalubada, etc.) sweets, cold drinks, strong sugar tea, coffi. Take less sugar tea, coffi will help to reduce weight. Take simpal veg food with salad both times. Do arobic excersices, yoga, fast walking, after dinner walk slowly 1 to 2 km. Daily. Take dinner 2 hours before going to sleep.

Dear patient, calorie dense food should be incorporated in your diet like dried fruits, potato, sweets, nuts, jam jelly, banana or mango shake, porridge, badam kheer etc. leafy vegetables should be restricted in your diet as they reduce appetite. you should take 3 major meals a day and snacks in between. butter, margarine should be taken. Adequate amount of egg, meat, fish, milk should be taken as it help you for tissue building in your body.try to take 1 boiled egg at every morning. you should eat more food at each meal. My daughter is six months old and was administered BCG vaccine at birth. Till date there is no scar on her arm. Should we vaccinate her again. Does successful BCG vaccine necessarily leave scar?

Hello lybrate-user, some babies fail to develope scar after bcg vaccination esp. When given immediately after birth, but that does not mean that, she has not developed immunity, so no need to repeat vaccine.

Hello doctor, My skin is sun sensitive. I'm neither dark nor fare but the problem is whenever I go under the sun and stayed up to 20-30 minutes my screen gets dark even after using 60spf lotion. Please suggest some best and easy solution. FYI I used to drink lots of water too. Thanks!

For a sensitive skin you need proper sunprotectiona nd sunscreens only help if applied 15-20 minutes before exposure and depeending upon there type the effect last from 2 -3 hours then you need to reapply it. Secondly even after applying sunscreen its advisable for someone who has to stand a lot under sun to use physical protection like wearing a hat etc more elaborate guidance can be given on further discussions. Thanks for the query. Tiredness is due to poor intake of nutrients and lack of energy. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well.    Exercise at least thrice a week.

To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. There is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If this is not enough then revert for further assessment and customised approach. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Not only oily and junk foods are responsible for weight but the food combination, continuation and the timing is also important. So eat small and frequent meals it will help in losing weight.

Hello, I am giving you some tips for sound sleep and early awaking in morning kindly follow advises given below: 1. Strict to sleep time schedule 2. Do regular physical activity 3. Regular meditation/ yoga 4. Avoid tea coffee after 7 pm 5. You can take bath at bed time 6. Avoid day time sleep 7. You can use alarm and gradually reduce your waking time by 15 minutes consult physician if symptoms persist of worsen.

Hey sir i'm getting hair loss regularly 5years back I got typhiod seen than my hair are falling from all over head I shaved my head many times when every I shave my head 3 to 4months my hairs will be strong and not get hair fall but after 4months it will start again. And dandruff is also coming regularly.

Typhoid can induce a hair loss pattern called telogen effluvium. It generally normalises after a while. Use mild antidandruff shampoos to start with. Hair fall is mainly due to hormonal and genetic factors. There are no homeremedies that vil help or quick responses for it. It can definitely be controlled. It's important to eat plenty of pulses, fish, meat and milk. Drink at least two litres water everyday. Exercise regularly. Don't stress out because you don't have long hair or because your hair's falling. Avoid all forms of chemicals, hot devices and blowdryers to prevent hair damage. Massage scalp and wash twice or thrice a week. Don't overshampoo, it'll spoil hair. Don't tie up wet hair and sleep, it'll get infected. If any infections, g et it treated. A thorough blood check up is needed to eliminate autoimmune, hormonal and nutritional diseases.
