Confirmation diagnosis go for blood tests. Cbc, mp, widal, urine r/m. After tests again consult. Drink warm water, juice, green veg. Soups, lquid diets, dalia, take protein diets, milk, chease, tulsi leaf in tea or warm water, geloy juice, avoid cold area, cold things. I. E. Ice creams, fast/junk foods, chinese foods, spicy foods, fat meal, take bed rest, if feel cold then cover body with warm cloths, avoid dust area, clean body, chang cloths daily, change bed sheet daily, avoid stress.

I have facing now a days vision problem from last two months. My left eye get starting week. So please suggest me how I will cure my eye. Hello. There is no medication or food for improving eye sight or to get rid of glasses. Get your vision tested and wear glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try contact lens as your age is now 22 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy.

I am 65 years old. I am having restless sensation in my calves after I go to bed in the night for the last 8 years. It starts mostly within half an hour to an hour of hitting the bed disturbing my sleep. I have to keep stretching, turning and twisting for a long time before it subsides. Initially exercising of calf muscles would improve the situation but for the last two years exercises do not really help. Is it rls or something else? is it attributed to some deficiencies? do I have to get some tests done? pl advise me for diagnose and remedies.

Hi sir/madam. I am 18 years old boy. I am having puberphonia. My voice us not yet deepen, still I don't get a deeper manly, low pitch, masculine voice. Still my voice is at high pitch only. All my friend and boys who r younger to me got deeper low pitch voice. But I am still not. I had already consulted three ENT specialist in my area and they also told PUBERPHONIA and they prescribed me to take SPEECH THERAPY. With their consultation I went to speech therapist for two weeks of speech therapy. But I felt there is no changes in my voice. After speech therapy also my voice is like as before. Kindly prescribe me a speech therapist specialist. Pls sir because I faced lot of problem with this voice. Pls help me sir.

Dear lybrate-user, yes for puberphonia you need to consult a speech pathologist. It is not prescribed by any one. Correcting puberphonia needs consistent practice of some techniques and frequent monitoring by speech therapist. St will help you attain a low pitch voice, maintain it, and also keep the health of your throat and vocal folds. I am not really sure what kind of exercises carried out. 1.Take paracetamol 500mg,1 tablet sos after food up to a maximum of 3 tablets daily, 2.Drink plenty of water 3.do warm saline gargling 2-3 times daily 4. Take throat lozenges 5.Take rest 6.If no relief,you have to take antibiotic 7.Consult for further advice

Kindly show me a photograph & digital X RAYS of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

As he is a diabetic you must understand that the body is in a starvation mode as carbs are not reaching the cells. So eating less will only harm him more. Here it is always advisable to take a proper plan and not tips. But still till then remember that you must eat small frequent meals. Eat cereals pulses fruits and vegetables in the right amounts. Avoid sugar jaggery honey. Avoid fasting and feasting.

Dear Lybrate User, The size of penis depends on four factors:- 1) HEIGHT OF THE PERSON :- Every organ of a taller person posses greater dimension than those of a shorter person. 2) TESTOSTERONE HORMONE:- Less secretion of this hormone leads to underdevelopment of sexual organs 3) SEXUAL DISEASES:- Patients suffering from Erectile dysfunction often complaints of short penis. 4) FATTY TUMMY:- With every increase of 6 kg in weight, the waistline is increased up to 2 cm. This fatty layer of abdomen conceals 2 cm of the length of penis by surrounding it. Kindly remember that the penis will not remain erected all time. Don't drink on an empty stomach. If you haven't eaten, drinking alcohol can cause your blood sugar to drop up to 24 hours later. This happens because the body is working to get rid of it. If you want to drink alcohol, check your blood sugar first. It's also important to eat before or while you drink. Another caution: Smithson says that symptoms of low blood sugar, such as slurred speech and dizziness, could be mistaken for drunkenness. Plan ahead.
