I always suffer throat problem due to tonsils from small age, whenever I consume cold water or sweet food I suffer from this I get fever and tonsils get bigger and red. Please recommend some kind of home remedies handle it without having any type of operation.

MD - Pulmonary Medicine
Pulmonologist, Mumbai
Always keep an audit of the foods which cause your tonsils to enlarge. After eating anything sweet always gargle your throat and spit. You don't need to use fancy mouth washes, just plain water does the trick. Never go to bed without brushing your teeth. You are some who is very prone to allergies so avoid but do not give up completely on things you like. And in case of fever with enlarged tonsils always consult your doctor and don't go about treating yourself.

Hello , sinusitis is sometimes got serious when it stuff it feels nothing will work. Saltwater nasal rinses for your nose can help, too. You can buy a kit or mix up your own at home. The recipe: mix about 16 ounces (1 pint) of lukewarm distilled, sterile, or previously boiled water with 1 teaspoon of salt. Some people add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to take the sting out of the salt. Using a bulb syringe, flush your nasal cavities to clean out mucus and debris avoid smoking, dusting, and any pollutant things. Do anulom vilom yoga asana.

Vertigo and dizziness is a common problem especially after age of 40 years.
Most often patients do not know the cause of vertigo and so are on medications for years.
A common type of vertigo called positional vertigo is completely curable with vestibular rehab using very specific maneuvers. Also sometimes dizzy feeling can be confused with unsteadiness which may be due to decreased sensations or neuropathy in legs.
Others causes can be labyrinthitis or vestibular neuritis and many more.
Please see a proper evaluation and know the best technique suited for you so you can be active again and lead a functional life.
