Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day..

Sir, iam of 19 years, male, my right knee make popping sound frequently when I fold my leg, sometimes. It pains a. Little, is there any serious problem with that.

Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag).Twice a week...Drink plenty of fluids daily...do exercise daily...eat healthy protein and calcium rich food

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am dr akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Your complaints are focused on pain in elbow and wrist region and these have started only after you have started playing badminton. I would advise you for: - initial intensive ice packs - analgesic spray for application - short course of anti-inflammatory medications - cessation of playing for around 2 weeks let' s give it a try for 2 weeks, and if then it does not improve, then you let me know. How is weight loss effective? What are the efficient ways to reduce heavy weight? I am 68 kg, and I have to loose weight upto 18 kgs, n go back to 50 kgs. How I s it possible, I dnt eat much food, bt yes I am addicted to oily foods. please advice me in such a way dat can help me d most.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal....

I have pain in my outside of the knee cap and just under to it due to an minor accident. Actually 1 year ago when I was crossing the road suddenly bike hit me on left leg. Sometime it's OK and sometime it pains much.

Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area.

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

For the past one or two months I am getting pain at my tail bone, it hurts especially when I am sitting on a chair, buses, bikes but if I stand it goes. Secondly my right heel burns like chillies but again it does not when I am walking or standing. It burns worst when I am sleeping and try to get up. But it happens only for a few second or minutes.

Hi Mr. Lybrate-user can notophercantopher, you r suffering from what we term as coccidynia. Or inflammation (swelling with pain) of the tail bone named as coccyx. For relief you need to take sitdz bath i. E take luke warm water in a broad based tub & sit on it so that your buttocks dip in it. For 10 _ 15 mins. Avoid sitting on hard surface & support the tail region with cushion. Avoid riding bike. Sit on front seats in bus. For ankle problems take vit b6 or pyridoxin tablets ones daily wear flat slippers with a soft sole take wa. Rnm water ankle bath at sleep time.

I'm having cramps in both my ankles and wrists. Also I'm feeling kind of feverish. It's been so since last night. I had first thought that I caught cold but now the pain in the joints is increasing. What can it be? I could not visit a doctor cuz it's an off day due to some festival.

There might be some tear in the meniscus. You will need to be examined and then maybe a mri will be required

I had very slight knee pain and my knee used to lock when fully bent. I consulted and orthopedic and he suggested MRI scan of right knee. In the MRI, it was detected that there is minimal effusion in right knee and there is degenerative signal (grade 2) in posterior limb of medial meniscus. The doctor suggested to go for surgery if it aches more or worsen which I do not want to. Is there any alternative to surgery and if surgery is at all required in my case.

There are only two options left for you 1. Start doing knee strengthening exercises which can offload the meniscus a little bit and help it to heal by itself. 2. Go for surgery and then again do knee exercises, as only surgery won't help.

I am suffering from backache for the past 2 years. I have to constantly twist and turn my back or stretch it to free my back. I feel the need to stretch every 20 mins or so. Should I get my back checked or is this problem solvable easily?

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hello. We can't reverse the established pathology back, but we can control the process in the stage it is so that it wouldn't grow further. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.
