Ok if your deficiency had completed by vit and now pain in knee during climbing stair. Then take a x-ray of bilateral knee. Muscle are stiff also. Tk heat fermentation twice a day. And apply any pain relief ointment on the pain area. Avoid strain. Roll a towel and put under knee then press for 10 second then release do 10 to 15 time both legs. If it work then ok otherwise x-ray or physiotherapy treatment must with your vit and calcium supplements.

Knee pain for past three weeks, able to walk, but finding difficult to climb up and down stairs. Please advise.
Knee pain is a common problem that can originate in any of the bony structures compromising the knee joint (femur, tibia, fibula), the kneecap (patella), or the ligaments and cartilage (meniscus) of the knee. Knee pain can be aggravated by exercise, affected by the surrounding muscles and their movements, and be triggered by other problems (such as a foot injury). Knee pain can affect people of all ages, and home remedies can be helpful unless it becomes severe. Some of the other signs and symptoms that accompany knee pain are difficulty walking due to instability of the knee, limping due to discomfort, difficulty walking up or down steps due to ligament damage, locking of the knee (unable to bend the knee), redness and swelling, inability to extend the knee, and shifting weight to the opposite knee and foot. Over-the-counter pain medications can frequently alleviate the pain. If someone is taking these medications on a regular basis, he or she should see a health-care professional to evaluate the knee pain for proper diagnosis and to avoid the potential side effects of chronic medication use. The RICE mnemonic is often helpful, especially for minor injuries: Rest: Rest the joint, and take a break from your usually activities involving the knee joint. Ice: Applying ice can help with pain and inflammation. Exercise helps to slow the progression of osteoarthritis, a common cause of knee pain. Physical activity is important to the normal health of cartilage tissue. Exercise is also good for strengthening the body's support for its joints. For the knee, strengthening the leg muscles is particularly helpful. Simply raising a straightened leg while sitting or lying down is an exercise that will strengthen these muscles and help them to stabilize the knee. Acupuncture might help some people against some forms of pain.

Hi there are various reason for pain like fatigue, arthritic changes etc. 1) wear comfortable sports shoes 2) make daily routine of exercise 3) rule out calcium and vit d deficiency 4) do proper warm up before exercise and cool down after exercise 5) do stretching of legs do exercise under supervision of skilled physiotherapist. . Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Dear user, is it the pain you are suffering from is in the leg or from the hip. It may be sciatic pain. Apply diclofenac ointment with heat fermentation. This will reduce your pain.
