Sudden blurring of vision in diabetic you should rule out diabetic retinopathy. Please see the nearest ophthalmologist as early as possible. If there is any retiopathy changes he may need lasers or intravitreal injections. Some times diabetes itself can cause blurring of vision. You should keep strict control of blood sugar.

Red eyes could be because of many reasons but commonly it is due to allergy or infection. You need to visit eye specialist to differentiate between the two as the treatment is different. Also get your eyes checked for any glass power.

Hello there are many causes for redness of eyes mainly allergy, infection, inflammation and dry eyes etc. 1. Redness + itching: allergy 2. Redness + pain + watering + decreased vision: infection 3. Redness + pain: inflammation 4. Redness foreign body sensation: dryness if there is only redness then it is normal as slight exposure to dust, temperature or air or eyes may be red in morning. Stress may also cause redness. I usually do not treat when there is only redness, you can 1. Blink a lot 2. Wash eyes with fresh water 3. Cold compresses 4. Use lubricating eye drop like flogel these measures will help to keep your eyes healthy but it will not have any effect on redness (treating general redness alone is not necessary also) having said that you should consult local ophthalmologist for proper examination and treatment.

I have burning sensation in my eyes and eyes turn red color. Sometimes I can feel something is pricking inside my eyes. I contacted an eye specialist. They said its mainly due to dust allergies and gave some eye drops. Whenever I go outside I used to wear glasses. But still I can feel all those above mentioned problems, especially when I use laptops (min 8 hours) at work and mobile phone at home. I noticed all these to doctor but still they say nothing to worry its dust infection. What should I do now? Please help me.

Most of software professionals don't know how to work on computer for long time without giving trouble to eyes. While working on computer number of blinking drastically goes down from around 24 per minute to around 8 per minute leading to severe dryness causing burning, eyestrain, blurring of vision & headache. One should try to have normal blinking while working on computer, should look away from screen after every 10 minute , should take rest for 10 minute after every 2 hours& should wear antiglare glass. Software professionals should use lubricating eye drops 4-5 times daily (Systane ultra)&genteal gel once at bed time. You may wear antiglare glass while working on computer after getting refraction done by ophalmologist .
