Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

In between the work.try to do stretching for few minutes every two three hrs. While sitting, rotate and stretch legs and arms too.

This is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. My right arm has been hurting for the past two weeks now. The pain only occurs when I move my hand in a particular way else in a resting position it doesn't hurt. Guess I slept on my arm. The pain is like a nerve pull. What could be the reasons for the pain and what do you suggest?

So Rest to affected part, Ice packs at home, physical therapy under supervision of a physiotherapist and gentle anti inflammatory medication like Tab Etoshine or Tab Paracetamol or whichever suits you should be sufficient to help you get rid of this pain, but it may take 2-3 weeks. Remedial exercises 

Backache is a complex problem. It has multifactorial aetiology. There are many exercises that are used as an adjunct to its treatment. Here, some of the exercises useful in the management of backache are described. It is not a complete list. Many more can be added to it. As a matter of fact white charting out the exercise programme for an individual suffering from backache; one should take into account the exact cause of backache, age, the built of the body and even the mental attitude of the patient. The exercises should be done slowly and increased gradually. During exercise, sudden jerks should be avoided. Most of the cases of backache fortunately settle down with simple remedial exercises.

Some of the cases do not respond satisfactorily. It is these -who pose a baffling problem. Many methods have been tried in the past & new ones are being discovered with the hope that this oldest problem of mankind  the aching back, the most common yet intractable, is solved.

The actual treatment of backache lies in the therapeutic exercises only 

They act by: 

(a) improving the muscle tone. (b) improving the muscle power. (c) regaining the mobility of the joints and elasticity of the ligaments. (ligaments are the natural hinges like those of doors which control the direction of the movement of a joint). The usual remedial spinal exercises are:

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and revert. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.

I have got pain in my leg from two years. The MRI shows this diffuse posture lateral iv disc at L4-L5 level causing anterior epidural space and lateral recess narrowing with mild thecal sac indentation and abutting transversing nerve fibres and existing neural foramen stenosis.(2) subtle L3 -L4 diffuse posture lateral iv disc bulge causing anterior epidural space and lateral recess effacement. : keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Dear get an X ray neck done and try the tips in b//w:: 1.Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 2.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 3.Take 1 tsf triphala churna daily....n practice yoga daily twice.. 4.Do Dhanurasan and Ujjai Pranayam daily early morning 10 min each.

What is the best exercise to cure grade 1 (less than 10%) l5/s1 spondylolisthesis?
Grade I – Less than 25 percent slip The non-surgical treatments for spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis are most commonly rest, followed by trunk and abdominal strengthening exercises. A physical therapist is often helpful in getting you back on your feet and can instruct you in the proper way to do these exercises without making your symptoms worse. If you have significant leg pain, you can also take an anti-inflammatory medication. Braces are rarely needed but may be helpful in reducing your symptoms. Anti-inflammatory cortisone injections may also be of help. For people with spondylolysis, surgery to repair the defect in the pars interarticularis is needed only after non-surgical measures such as physical therapy and exercises have failed to relieve symptoms. In younger people without a slip, surgery may be used to directly repair the pars defect; in older people or in those with some degree of instability, a spinal fusion may be required. If there is slippage, the two main goals are unpinching the nerves and internally stabilizing the spine. Putting things back to normal alignment is often possible as well.

Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the knee against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain

I have been gyming for the last 1 and a half years. Recently a pain in my right hand has started 2 disturb me during my workouts. The whole day the pain is nowhere around but between my workouts it starts again. Its a nerve problem in my elbow part it pains hard and I know its not muscle pain. Hii. Doctor. I have one problem which makes me sad. I m 23 yrs unmarried girl. Since 6 month I have stomach pain around my belly bottom and more in left side or lower part of stomach the pain is occur when I m pressing my stomach with my fingers than pain is realise. My guess is that you will require a clinical evaluation and ultrasound, you should consult a gynaecologist initially followed by a general surgeon if required. You will probably have to visit a specialist doctor for this but this should not make you sad in any way because diagnosis and management can be done.
