Last week some people from medicare company come to sell their products They said stericlean can be used for treatment of hemorrhoids They told me to mix it with warm water while sitting in a bath tube Is this ok? I practise coloproctology and I have never ask any of my patients for stericlean for haemorrhoids. Any medications/ ointments used for haemorrhoids are supportive and will not cause shrinkage of piles. Hemorrhoids or piles are pathological enlargement of anal cushions. Once increased in size, needs non surgical therapy like laser/ rfa for cure in case of smaller piles and surgery in case of larger piles. Don't be scared with these therapies as mentioned because they are the only prescription for complete cure from these lifestyle problems.

Hello, follow the below medication and tips to strengthen the eye muscles:- Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Your problem needs a physical examination and for the time being start using a thin pillow or avoid pillow while sleeping.See for any change in that lump as I think it can be a postural problem also.

5 Proven ways to introduce fitness into your child's life

In the day and age where technology turns your child into a couch potato, introducing fitness into his/her life can be a real challenge. These trends have slowly given rise to obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure in children- diseases that they were never touched by. So it is very important to introduce fitness into your child’s life, now more than ever.

1. Get involved: It is known that children learn more by example than by instruction. Do fun activities yourself like swimming, playing basketball, going on long walks and take your child along with you. Start small, by doing this at least once a week, and then increase gradually. Not only will this encourage your child to be more fit, it will also create a deeper bond between the two of you.

2. Introduce fun activities: Structured activities such as a sport are great ways of introducing your child to fitness. Enrol your child for some routine sport classes, particularly team sport. This way your child learns essential values such as team spirit, fair play, competition and practice. Plus, it’s a great way to stay in shape.

3. Make exercising fashionable: Children these days are fond of doing things that are ‘in’. Some may want to swing the bat like Dhoni, while others may be more interested in learning Hrithik Roshan’s dance moves. Let your child decide what he wants do according to his style. Celebrity examples can act as motivation.

4. Use fitness as a reward: If you just force your child to go out and play, then chances are you’d be giving rise to resentment and resistance. Don’t use exercise as punishment, make it a reward instead. For instance, treat your child to a break from homework by encouraging him to play ball for half an hour. This strategy might make him/her enjoy the physical activity to the fullest.

5. Let your child take charge: Allow your child to decide what he wants to do in the hours after school rather than you deciding it for him/her. He may decide to cycle, go on a hike, and go for a long run. Letting him/her decide, give away the control over the situation to make him/her more inclined to follow a routine. For younger children it is best for you rationalize their choices.

I was diagnosed suffering from wheat allergy on 10.04. 2014 with reading 140.6. I therefore continuously remained on gluten free diet for about more than two years. A few days back on 25.04. 2016, I again done my TTG (wheat allergy) test from two different laboratories and they gave me the number 1.6 & 2.6 respectively. Now what should I do! Whether to continue on gluten free diet or I can reverse back to opt wheat in my meals.

Hye. Sorry, but you will lose only water and muscle mass. Fats will remain as it is. Whatever weight you may lose on scale will be muscle weight, which will be back in a week. You can't anyway stay for long on such diets, they are not normal. Instead try following a good diet and exercise routine.

Hello lybrate-user.. If progesterone alone has not helped you need to add estrogen to the treatment as well. But before that please get an ultrasound scan of pelvis done to see for endometrial thickness. All the best.

Controlling your diet and exercising regularly is the key to losing weight. Taking the following could also help in accelerating the weight loss process: taking pranacharya medohar rasayan (1-1) twice a day; taking medohar guggul (2-2) twice a day; pranacharya slim capsule (1-1) twice a day. 2. It is advisable to avoid junk, fried, fermented or oily food. You should also avoid the intake of alcohol, sugar, dairy products. 3. You should increase the intake of oats and cereals. You should incorporate a walk of at least 45 minutes in your daily regime and prayanama every morning. It is advised not to sleep immediately after taking a meal.
