It is all due to your wrong posture. Do not work continuously by bending the head . In between the work take a break for few minute and rotate your head in clockwise , anticlockwise, front, and back to relax the muscles of neck . Sleep on hard bed with very thin pillow under head. Take kali phos 6x four tablet 4 times daily . Your headache may be due to referred pain of neck or due to migraine. Take homeopathic medicine for migraine.

After 50 plus age generally females have hormonal changes due to which they have a complain of knee pain, back pain etc. There may be many reasons for knee pain like arthritis because its very common at this age or there may be vit or uric acid deficiency which is also common nowadays. So in general I would advise you to please go for her proper investigation so that the reason can be diagnosed. In the mean time to get relief from pain and stiffness please follow the physio measures: precautions- 1. Avoid prolong standing. Standing on one leg or running for time being if its painful. 2. Take care while bending your knees, it should not directly strain your joint. 3. Avoid heavy weight lifting. 4. Wear shoes with good arch support, do not wear high -healed shoes. 5. Use the correct positions during activities so that you do not strain your muscles. 6. Try to change your sitting position every 15 min so that it should not give strain on your knees. 7. Avoid sitting on floor with both knees bending. 8. Take diet rich in calcium like milk, dairy products, banana etc which will enhance your calcium and gives you strength. Treatment - 1. Use of cold or hot packs which ever suits you - apply ice or hot pack to the painful area and massage for near about 10 minutes. Make a habit for doing atleast twice a day initially. 2. After this using your thumb massage your knee area gently. 3. Do some knee (quads) isometrics atleast 10-15 times with the hold of 5 -10 seconds. Also you can do some knee strengthening in the mean time. The above treatment will give her pain relief and discomfort. In the meantime please contact any physio who will study her daily routine, symptoms etc and check the reason if there is any arthritis or any other discorde and then accordingly will give her the best treatment plan. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hi take rest, apply ice, you can visit orthopaedic doctor for proper diagnosis. Doctor may give you antiinflammation medication, and/or cortisone injection. Cortisone injection is extremely effective and is generally the optimal treatment.

Hello. Please do some leg exercise while lying down. Sudden change in posture should be avoided. Please keep your weight checked. Take arnica 30 / 4 globules / 4 times for 8 days. Please revert back if needed.

Requires detailed investigation and examination Presently investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d xray of the affected part. Anyway you may try sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hello. Yes. Excessive traveling does cause back, neck and shoulder pain. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

What physiotherapy was given to you. Do you ride a bike after treatment? iI so during treatment sessions dont ride a bike. This is commonest cause of not getting rid of tail bone pain. If not take a second opinion from different physio.

My cousin suffers from severe lower backache during her periods. Please suggest what to do because she can't bare that backache its so severe. She takes a panadol as a pain killer. It just works for 2 hours. She is 15 years old. Please suggest something so that there is no backache next time. Pain during periods is very common nowadays due to unhealthy lifestyles. For this you need to change your lifestyle. 1) Avoid eating junk & spicy food. 2) Have black tea with ginger & 1 tsf cow ghee 3) make ladoo of urad daal fried in sesame oil & mixed with jaggery. Have 1 daily for 3 months 4) Eat two tbsps of flax seeds during your period 5) drink a lot of water & fresh juices 6) Go for matra vasti at a panchakarma centre 7) Half a teaspoon of powder of sesame seeds taken with hot water twice daily acts excellently in reducing spasmodic pain 8) Using heating pads or hot water bags around the area relaxes the stiff muscles and reduces pain by bringing oxygen in the area. Pain killers do have side effects on liver and kidneys.

Hello lybrate user, back pain alone in young age without any associated symptoms like fever, loss of weight or appetite might indicate towards a slip disc or a minor injury to the soft tissues supporting the spine. So, if you do not have any other associated symptoms and have tried adequate amount of rest, then it might be time for you to start with physiotherapy exercises for maintaining the range of movements and also strengthening the back muscles. Consult a physiotherapist for the same. However, if you do have other associated symptoms, then you might need to consult an orthopaedic surgeon for a detailed clinical assessment. Hope this helps.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take 1-1 tab mahayograj guggul twice a day. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid junk food. Fermented food. Spicy food. Take green vegetables. Do exercises. Do pranayama early in the morning. Drink minimum 7-8 glass of water everyday. Take 7hrs sleep minimum.

I have broken my finger I guess, I am guessing it because I do not know its broken or just twisted because every time when I have to press anything even soft laptop button, its producing plenty of pain. I got this while catching a cricket ball. Its been one month since am having this.

You probably have a mallet finger. This is probably caused by the cricket ball tearing the tendon attachment to the terminal bone of the finger. You need to wear a mallet splint for 6 weeks to keep the tip straight followed by physiotherapy.

Keep continue physiotherapy a d tk calcium supplements and vitd also. Wax therapy tens and ultrasonic therapy for few days if your father is a diabetic then do not take tension its takes some time bcoz of diabetic. Tk medicine for to control diabetic.

Hello dear if you doing surya namaskar in yoga please stop it. Do hot fermentation at years hall back. If it is possible to hot shower over there it is much better. Do cat camel stretching exercise. Also consult with a physiotherapists to do correct your posture and make your rehabilitation programme. Gud luck.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
