Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

dear user. for you i suggest only simple knee excercises. sit on chair. move leg front and back 10 times twice a day. then lift leg up and down 10times. put rolled towel under knee and press it 20 times. apply heat fermentation with any pain relief ointment. you will be fine. if you have any problem in excercises. take physiotherapist advice

I am suffering from shoulder pain and back pain since last year, what can do? For this.
You can do hot water fermentation for shoulder / you can do ice therapy which will reduce the pain. This is due to the improper posture as while sitting in front of the computer it leads to neck pain and thereby it leads to shoulder pain. We suggest neck mobilization exercises that would reduce the stress falling on the shoulder. We also suggest patients to do shoulder mobilization exercises ie. general shoulder movements/neck movements which will help you to improve the blood circulation. It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason your body becomes tired and you also have pain in the shoulder and back. And also your muscles become too tired especially in the area of the body where you get maximum body weight (ie. back) and shoulder which moves excessively during the day for any activity which we do with our hand. If the pain subsides after the day starts ie. once your metabolic activity starts in the body then you become alright, so you can take bath in warm water which would help you to break the tiredness. And also you can check with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting a general physician. You can also improve the protein diet in your body.

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings.

Patient needs to be examined in detail & be investigated. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days then inform me.

Please try physiotherapy treatment. A combination of ultrasound, stretching and strengthening exercises can help control pain. Sometimes it can help to an extent that you may no longer need surgery. Wish you speedy recovery.

Hi Tail bone pain is called as coccydynia and can become chronic if not take proper care of. To start with take a gentle anti inflammatory medication which suits your body, sitz bath should be initiated, sit on soft cushioned surfaces and avoid hard surfaces. You can also use coccydynia seat which is available and reduces pressure on the tail bone end. We can initiate this treatment protocol for a period of 7-10 days and see what happens, otherwise few investigations may needed to be done.

I am 35 years old. During my age of 25, while playing in a water game, I met small accident. Due to that in my neck, the tissue in c7 bone is slightly diverged. I am 68 yrs. I am diabetic over 20 years. I am maintaining and it is under control with medicine, insulin and just over 7. But accute foot pain. I am using.

Diabetes must be controlled beyond any shadow of doubt. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days it may have to be further investigated you must have x rays of your feet done. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.
