I am suffering from pimples and their marks so please tell me what should I do to prevent them.
Acne vulgaris (or simply acne or Pimples) is a long-term skin disease that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with dead skin cells and oil from the skin. Acne is characterized by areas of blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, and greasy skin, and may result in scarring. The resulting appearance can lead to anxiety, reduced self-esteem. Homeopathic medicines are curative in Acne - Pimples, Homeopathic Medicines are almost harmless and effective, These medicines cures Acne Pimples in short duration as compared to other palliative system of medicines. If You have Faith in Homeopathy - You can apply: Berberis Aquifolium ointment & Azadirachta Indica ointments twice daily after washing face with pure plane water. These are good herbal Homeopathic creams for Acne for dry skin. (both medicines are also available in liquid Form (Q) for oily skin - Apply 10% of each diluted in RO water or Distilled water after washing face with pure plane water) You can Also take some internal medicine for prompt and permanent cure: (1) Hepar Sulph Pentarkan 2 tabs thrice daily for one month. (2) Sabal Ser Q 20 drops twice daily in some water for one month These medicines have no adverse effects if taken under supervision of qualified homeopathic consultant. For more help before & after taking these medicines you can consult me personally on Lybrate.

Athletes - 5 Ways to Prevent Skin Problems!

Athletes - 5 Ways to Prevent Skin Problems!

Given their nature of work, athletes are at an increased risk of acquiring skin infections. These infections can lead to serious consequences if they are left untreated.

Here are 5 ways in which skin conditions in athletes can be prevented.

  1. Keeping the bruises clean and covered - It is important for you to keep the cuts and scrapes clean as well as covered with bandages until they heal because such openings in the skin weaken its defence against germs and increase the possibility of infections.
  2. Taking care of the blisters - Make sure that you prevent blisters as much as you can because they make your skin susceptible to infections. Use gels, sprays, ice pads etc. and try to avoid getting sunburnt to prevent dangerous skin conditions.
  3. Be mindful of what you wear - It is important for athletes to wear moisture-wicking clothes because sweat, if not made to dry, can lead to growth of germs that can cause a number of skin diseases and infections. Also, not wearing foot wear outside the field can lead to infections on the feet.
  4. Maintaining good hygiene - Take a shower after every practice session and game using an antimicrobial soap. Besides, use a clean towel and avoid sharing your personal care items like razor, soap etc. with other athletes. This is extremely important in order to reduce the risk of bacterial infection.
  5. Disinfect all your equipment and go for skin checkups - Make sure that you disinfect all your equipment like the protective gear, gloves, socks etc. after every use. Also, get regular skin checkups done, especially if you are associated with high-risk sports like wrestling, boxing etc. There is an increased possibility of skin injuries, sores, swelling etc. in athletes associated with such sports, which exposes them to a greater risk of skin conditions. So, disinfection and clinical checkups on a regular basis become all the more important for them. Ensure that you never use sandpaper or bleach simply to pass a skin check up. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon.

What to do for to reduce hair fall
hair loss
I have thin hair and low density of hair.
While your hair mostly depends on your genetics;  stress, hormonal imbalance and poor diet have a great influence on your hair health and appearance. Start by following a good diet - Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Include skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet. Next important step is to follow good hair care - Oiling your hair with a mixture of oils like olive, sesame, coconut and castor oil keeps provides moisture to your hair and prevent them from drying and breakage. Once in a week apply a good hair mask. You can mix and prepare different types of masks using green tea, olive oil, milk, gooseberry,  etc. Condition your hair using organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Rosemary tea once in a while. Choosing a good shampoo according to your hair type is very important. Dry or brittle hair requires different shampoo than from oily hair. A professional hair and scalp examination to get right hair care products for you is worth than spending time and energy on wrong products.

Blackheads are typically caused by the overproduction of oil, which tends to occur when a person reaches puberty. Clean your face with a good cleanser, ideally, one for oily skin, such as a salicylic acid cleanser. Do not wash the affected area more than twice a day, otherwise you might irritate the skin and make symptoms worse. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

Dear, These are the causes of acne: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal changes These are the methods & instructions to avoid acne: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. * Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

Take a ripe tomato, mash it and add a few drops of lemon juice to it. Apply it and watch your skin tone lighten gradually. Another great way to make oily skin fair is to apply a mixture of milk powder, papaya, honey and milk to your face.

Hey Doctor, I have 1.5 year old pug-dog diagnosed with Pyometra. Fortunately it is open and the infection is draining out I have given her the course of antibiotics (intake tazo injections, meloxicam, norflox-100, etc) but she is not responding to it. She seems finer but the discharge is still continuous. Now I have switched to homoeopathy (septa out) as I am scared of surgery because since her suffering, she had loss of appetite and ate only biscuit bread and some milk and due to this she became weaker and the operation might make things worse. Can you suggest me a possible non-surgery treatment? Regards, Ronica (This is the question posed by my friend Ronica, she is very stressed out. Any slightest assistance will be a great blessing, Doctor. Please help)

When your pet was discharged from the hospital, you received specific instructions regarding your pet's home care. Some general care guidelines include: In order to help the healing process, it is important that the wound and surrounding area is gently cleaned to remove any crusty or sticky debris. This will keep the wound edges clean, reduce the potential for re-infection, and allow new healthy tissue to develop. Administer all of the medications as prescribed. Do not discontinue antibiotics for any reason unless you have been specifically instructed to do so by your veterinarian. Your dog should not be allowed to lick or chew the open wound. Many dogs will require a protective collar (Elizabethan or E-collar) to prevent them from injuring the site. It is important to prevent the skin from healing over the wound too quickly. This is particularly important with abscesses that have been lanced and drained surgically. If the wound closes prematurely, the risk of recurrence increases.
