If you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Practice Mindful Breathing The primary goal of mindful breathing is simply a calm, nonjudging awareness, allowing thoughts and feelings to come and go without getting caught up in them.  Sit comfortably, with your eyes closed and your spine reasonably straight. Bring your attention to your breathing. Imagine that you have a balloon in your tummy. Every time you breathe in, the balloon inflates. Each time you breathe out, the balloon deflates. Notice the sensations in your abdomen as the balloon inflates and deflates. Your abdomen rising with the in-breath, and falling with the out-breath. Thoughts will come into your mind, and that’s okay, because that’s just what the human mind does. Simply notice those thoughts, then bring your attention back to your breathing.  Likewise, you can notice sounds, physical feelings, and emotions, and again, just bring your attention back to your breathing. You don’t have to follow those thoughts or feelings, don’t judge yourself for having them, or analyse them in any way. It’s okay for the thoughts to be there. Just notice those thoughts, and let them drift on by, bringing your attention back to your breathing. Whenever you notice that your attention has drifted off and is becoming caught up in thoughts or feelings, simply note that the attention has drifted, and then gently bring the attention back to your breathing. It's okay and natural for thoughts to enter into your awareness, and for your attention to follow them. No matter how many times this happens, just keep bringing your attention back to your breathing.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anaemia. Take homoeopathic medicine weisbaden 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and revert. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends.

Using Dot silicone gel or toical retinoid cream (Retin A cream) is good to remove this pores. You can also go for masks. Pappaya masks are good for this. You can use this twice weekly. Also avoid sun exposure on face or use sunscreen. Taking vitamin E and C supplements , drinking more plain water also helps in regeneration of skin faster.

This could be due to lumbar Spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS You will need other supportive medicines also. Do back (spine) exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take You may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed It may have to be further investigated. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am a patient of hypothyroidism. My TSH in September was 7.2 and my endocrinologist started 112.5 MCG Thyronorm. After two months I felt extreme weakness, loss of appetite, loss of libido and TSH was 1.24. But I continued with 112.5 mg Thyronorm. In March this year I again had same bad symptoms and I stopped Thyronorm for month but in April my TSH was 19.2. I again started 100 mg Thyronorm on my own and in May 27 my TSH was 3.71 but I still have scary symptoms of weakness, loss of appetite, loss of libido. I would like to understand are these symptoms because of overdose or side effect of Thyronorm. Some doctors hve suggested same. My weight is 85 kg I also have some tests done 1. Total & free Testosterone: values are 260 and 5 resp. Pl let me know r these low values. Do I need prolactin, cortisol tests 2. LH & FSH are normal 3. LFT, Lipid profile are normal. Sodium is 145, calcium is 9.2 4. Hbaic 6.4, ABG 137, fasting glucose 107, pap 97 TSH 3.71. Currently I am taking 75 mg Thyronorm 5. Vitamin B12 423. I am also taking Nervup 1 of 6/ Vitamin D3: 4.2 taking Tayo 60k I also take Amodep 5 mg and bp is 135/92 I also get palpitations sometimes. Please let me know my symptoms of extreme weakness, loss of appetite and libido are because of side effects of Thyronorm. If yes how to correct Also suggest medicine for appetite and libido.

The direct evidence for controlled hypothyroidism is a normal report of tsh which shows that it is within range. If the tsh is higher than the upper range then the dose will be increased and if the tsh is lower than the lower range then the dose will decreased. If the tsh is within range then you have controlled hypothyroid state and the dose will be carried on as such. Now that you are taking a dose of 100mcg and your TSH is within range - you have to just monitor yourself. Initially every 6weeks and then if the TSH remains within range then after every 3 months.

To lose belly fat you have to be particular about food choices, foods that improve the should be included in your diet such as whole cereals & pulses, more of citrus fruits & amla, do take lukewarm water before & after meals. Start taking amaranth grain as a breakfast cereal to reduce belly fat.

Dear lybrate user, thinking about your life situations is good. But too much of anything is harmful. What is important is, how you look at all situations. If you are thinking only about what is happening and why and how it is happening, then probably you will feel stuck after some time. You may start thinking like - ok, now this has happened, what can I do now to get out this situation? and start working on that, only then you will be able to move forward in life. Everyone has ups and downs in life. Look around, you will find there are so many people who are in worst condition, compared to yours. So count your blessings. Look at others' lives who are doing better than you, find out how they achieved this, take inspiration from them. More importantly, cry when you feel like crying. Crying is not a sign of weakness, it relieves you of your sad feelings. Talk to someone who you have faith in. Share your burden of sad things with your friends/parents etc. Learn to let go of certain things. Keep moving ahead in life, acquire new skills, gain knowledge, take charge of your life. Hi, take cap. Stomotone 1-1-1 after food for 2-3 weeks and himcocid syrup 2tsf 3 times daily before food to control burning sensation in the stomach and chest take. Madiphala rasayana 2tsf 3 times a day to stop vomitting. Avoid hot and spicy food. Eat small quantities frequently. Drink plenty of water. Never miss your breakfast. Avoid excess intake of coffee and tea.

Do you suffer from symptoms like nasal discharge, post nasal discharge, watery runny nose, excessive sneezing, itchy nose and watery itchy eyes. It may be a chronic rhinosinustis or a allergic rhinitis. It will be better to consult a nearby ent specialist for examination. You can start tab smarti-m once a day at bed time and nasal steam inhalation twice a day and syrup mucolite 5ml twice a day for 5 days.
