Knee Ligament laxity if you have problem in your legs then it might be due to ligament laxity where your legs would become very weak due to the old ligament injury and that should be treated immediately. Wear knee cap so that you will feel firm while walking or climbing stairs. This is a general strain and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try! One time you can do hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain. You have to do knee strengthening exercises, ie. Knee rehabilitation exercises which will strengthen your knee. Exercises will give you permanent cure than the surgery. Physiotherapy Management:You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Simple Knee ExerciesSpecific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. I also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone.

I'm 35 years, for the last two months I have intense pain right side of left leg then pain moves to groin and knee (and pain is increasing gradually when I walk (can't run due to pain)). My treatment is going in the Delhi's govt. Hospital. I had pelvis AP xray, spine xray and full abdomen USG, but getting none. Yesterday, I got MRI (U - hip (B/L)) and report says There is evidence of large geographical area of T2/STRI hyperintensity seen involving head, neck and proximal shaft of femur - suggestive of marrow edema. Mild joint infusion is seen. There is evidence of focal ill-defined T2/STRI seen in anterior muscular pain - likely edematous changes.

Knee As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason the knee goes for genu recurvatum which is nothing but backward bowing of legs. This can be prevented by wearing knee brace to support the knee from going backwards while you walk or climb stairs. Check with your haemoglobin levels and also with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting a general physician.

Hi lybrate-user. Back pain in this age is common among younger people. It's primarily due to lack of abdomen and back exercises, improper posture and lack of sunlight exposure. I would suggest you to reduce your weight, do gentle stretching of your leg muscles, avoid sitting or driving for longer duration. If the problem is not alright with these measures or if you get pain radiating to your legs, it's time for you to consult an ortho pedic surgeon
