Knee pain- reasons can be-* cold weather *sitting in inconvenient posture constantly, without changing your position or without movement, *wearing ill fitting sandals, *lack of exercise or *internal disorder like arthritis. Point to observe- * if you have difficulty in climbing stairs, take lift while going upstairs. If there is no lift, go up slowly. * if it is due to strain of games or injury, take rest. * if it is due to obesity, reduce weight. * if it is due to constant sitting at a particular posture, change posture and engage in slow walk. * walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good. Coconut oil will be soothing in summer. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take bryonia 200---twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain and inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. X-ray must and calcium supplements. Tk ice and hot pack for 20 minutes. Avoid standing. Avoid exercise just nw if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment.

Actually there is no description as muscle pains, I think you have multiple joint pains as the main problem. I want to know your detailed clinical history, your relevant investigations, your treatment records till now. It helps me to better understand your condition and prescribe accordingly. Please also mention your co-morbid conditions and drug allergy. I will advise you to get some basic blood tests done empty stomach and get back to me with results: cbc, esr, crp, serum electrolytes and serum vitamin d levels. Meanwhile you can start with physical therapy and gentle anti inflammatory medication so that you can get adequate relief for it. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

My cholesterol is high since last three years and I was regularly taking rosuvastatin 10 mg tablet till two months ago, I stopped taking it be coz I was feeling full body ache and joint pains along with low sugar feeling in the evening. But since I stopped it my cholesterol level has again reached to 286 in two months so my question is 1) should I again start same medicine 2) is there any alternative to this medicine 3) is there any supporting medicine to to same medicine for avoiding aftereffects/side effects. Dear Relaaax Cholesterol levels are affected by stress. Food does not alter cholesterol levels. Attend stress management courses. Cholesterol is not the cause of heart attacks as seen in recent studies. Keep cool and enjoy life. Your body and liver will adjust all this Vm.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do streching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief consult physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

Hello don't get upset, as nowadays due to poor lifestyle and lack of exercise low back pain has become very common. But it can be cured by making small changes in lifestyle. 1) start physiotherapy sessions and learn spine exercise 2) do not lift heavy weights. 3) do not sit in 1 position for very long 4) start strengthening exercises for back and core muscles under supervision of skilled physiotherapist do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

My dad was aged about 48 years he was alcoholic, and had both sugar and blood pressure, my doubt was due intake of alcohol my dad liver was damaging, I had found some symptoms like swelling in legs and hands and some places in body, he was uninterested to come hospital, is there any solution or tests weather the liver condition was good or bad any treatment for that?

Get his blood checked for cbc sgpt sgot creatine and electrolyte levels and usg abdomen and revert back with reports and till than ask him to take tablet folvite once a day

Hi pls find out whether the pain appear after you join the gym. If so it may be due to over strain or lack of guidence. Better take some rest for few days. You can apply any medicated oil and give a steam bath. If it s not working then you can take some ayurvedic medicines. Thank you.

Not only that .i feel like my skeleton system is so weak . I feel tired n sleepy all d time . . I get depressed soon . Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. Sir I have pain in ankle and there is a injury please suggest me to how to reduce the pain.

Make sure there is no minor fracture by taking xray or mri, if there only sprain in ankle apply dry ginger powder paste on the ankle and leave for 15 min and wash the area, apply crape bandage till the pain reduces. Do it for 7 days without fail.

Hi, Apply Rumalaya liniment and massage for 10 mins and give hot water fomentation. This can be done thrice daily. If the pain is severe, take tab. Yogaraja guggulu 1-1-1 with hot water after food. Use soft medium sized pillow while sleeping. Perform neck exercises for 10 mins in the morning and evening regularly.

I am sure you are thyroxine tablets for treating hypothyroidism. In addition to that to control back pain you have to certain exercises specifically meant for back muscles, like like flat on the ground and lifting one leg 5 - 10 times, then both legs 5 - 10 times, cycling action in three or four sets, and various other exercises usually shown in tv to strengthen back muscle, these exercises will help reduce back pain. Plus other stretching exercises also must be done.
