What should I do to become healthy?
You have to take healthy diet to become healthy. Stop taking junk food like chips, cold drinks, chocolates, pizza, burgers & noodles, momos etc. Switch on to dals, vegetables, chapatis, rice, milk, curd, rajma, choley, fruits etc. You can take some ghee, butter& dry fruits also. Do some regular exercise like cycling or swimming to increase your appetite.

I am 23 years old. From 2 days the food I ate is not digested and I have severe leg pains. I went to a doctor. She gave a some tablets. I couldn't see any change. Instead my stomach is painful.

Hi take *nux vomica 200 4pills to be sucked thrice a day tab biochemic 4 (sbl) 4tabs to be chewed thrice a day for 30 days avoid junkfood, spicy, fried food. Drink plenty of water (3-4liters /per day) minimum.

My question is like what we have to do if I get blood in my gums and teeth and also they smell bad because of the blood. Even I couldn't eat apple, banana etc, so, please suggest me a good solution for this. I really want that my gums get healthy and also not smelly as fast as possible. Hello, thanx for the query. You are having gum problem calling gingivitis. You need dental scaling done by dentist. At home you can do one thing. Take a glass of warm water add 1 tps salt gargle 2 to 3 times a day daily for a week. For bad breath use mouth wash and clean tongue. For more you can consult me. Thank you drjagrati.

If she has no concerns with heavy bleeding or fever or bad smelling vaginal discharge I would not worry and ensure she has a well balanced protein rich diet like fish, chicken and pulses. She can also take a multivitamin supplement like a to z from the pharmacy with iron tablets like dexorange once a day for one-two months. Also it may be wise to get a complete blood count done in two weeks time if she continues to feel week.

She is a mother of a school going child age 4. How do you expect her to have self esteem when everyone keeps reminding her about her failures like a school dropout! I refuse to believe that she does not have any positive qualities. Focus on them. Criticism is a chain reaction. One family member starts and others join the chorus. Someone has to take responsibility for keeping her out of this chakarview. We cannot expect her to be strong from within being surrounded by only negative forces around her.

The only treatment I feel effective is weight control and regular exercises especially quadriceps exercises. If its bone on bone grade 4 arthritis which can be very much seen on standing knee X-rays the treatment would be replacement. All the interim measures as stated above are not long term as its more of a mechanical problem and do not offer long term results in sever OA.

My brother is having ultrasound test and it shows an echogenic focus measuring 5mm in size in its middle calyx. Please suggest how to cure it. Is it a serious issue.

You should go for brisk walk an hour. Do exercise atleast 15 minutes. You should take low calorie, high protein, modrate carbohydrates, and low fat diet. Drink more water. Don't take rice at night. Take salad before meals. Take small and frequent meals.

You have irregular period problem. I advise you to take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Take lots of water daily to detoxify body. Do meditation for mental strength daily. Avoid non veg and eggs. Keep your weight normal as compared to your height. These will help you in your period problem.

Hi, do regular exercise. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Add protein rich food in your diet. No drink before and with meals. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take small and frequent meals.

The best way to avoid these health problems is to maintain a healthy weight. And the keys to healthy weight are regular exercise and good eating habits. To stay active, try to exercise 30 to 60 minutes every day. Your exercise doesn’t have to be hard. Walking, swimming, and stretching are all good ways to burn calories and can help you stay fit. Try these activities to get moving: Go outside for a walk. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk or bike to places (such as school or a friend’s house) instead of driving. If you have to drive somewhere, park farther away than you need to and walk the extra distance. Tackle those household chores, such as vacuuming, washing the car, or cleaning the bathroom – they all burn calories. Alternate activities so you don’t get bored: Try running, biking, skating. Limit your time watching TV or playing video games; even reading a book burns more energy. Go dancing — it can burn more than 300 calories an hour! Eating well doesn’t mean dieting over and over again to lose a few pounds. Instead, try to make healthy choices every day. Soft drinks, fruit juices, and sports drinks are loaded with sugar; drink fat-free or low-fat milk or water instead. Eat ample amount of fruit and vegetables every day. Hi to gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

My father was experiencing some burning sensation in his feet. He was later diagnosed with increased blood glucose level. Since December 2015 he is taking medicine regularly. The sugar level although in control, there is no relief from burning sensation in feet. Moreover, it was weird to see that the sugar level in the morning was higher than that after lunch. We have consulted many specialists for this, even in pune, but nobody could tell us the reason for higher sugar level in the morning. Moreover the burning sensation has not yet been cured so far.
