Hai Mr. Lybrate-user, due to the injury, you may be having spur or a deviated nasal septum as a delayed complication, which may be the cause of your cold n suffocation. You consult your nearest ent specialist, and get examined to find proper cause. And the cause has to be treated.

Your medicine in your sentences only, because due to smoking you have problem & in another sentence you have dust allergy & for that you took medicine. If you can't stop smoking it means medicine will be made complication, smoke means dust particles which is causative for your suffering you have to stop then only any medicine will be applicable. If you can't stop smoking at least stop all medicine this will not get complication & side effect. Other than all this you may consult me for any clarification & treatment.

You maybe most probably suffering from gastritis or gastro esophageal reflux disease. You have to avoid spicy and fried foods. Also avoid junk food and fast food. If your problems are worse, you need to take an ECG and take medications. Consult me in private for prescription medications.

If it is problematic you need surgery and if you can manage without it this can be better. What you say not be really tonsillitis and can be just an allergic irritation

Stuffy Nose: 5 Remedies For It!

Stuffy Nose: 5 Remedies For It!

A blocked nose is not only annoying, but is extremely discomforting. Several reasons can be held responsible for it and common cold is certainly not the only one. Some other reasons include:

  1. Flu
  2. Allergy
  3. Sinus

Therefore, the remedial measures for blocked nose vary, depending on the cause that led to it. Some of the ways by which you can redress this problem are:

  1. Use a humidifier: Sinusitis is often held responsible for a clogged nose, a condition that is almost always accompanied by severe pain. In such a situation, placing a humidifier in a room proves to be extremely beneficial. This machine treats blocked nose by converting the water to moisture. This fills up the room and significantly increases the humidity of the room. Therefore when you breathe, the humid air soothes the inflamed blood vessels in the nose and helps you to breathe properly.
  2. Take a hot shower: When you find it difficult to breathe, a quick hot shower can go a long way in curing the discomfort. The logic that operates is the steam generated from the hot shower thins the mucus and also considerably reduces the inflammation in the nose, allowing you to breathe normally.
  3. Drink lots of water: Though the suggestion may seem incredible, drinking water actually helps in un-blocking that blocked nose. When you drink a lot of water, the mucus in the nostrils is thinned, at the same time it pushes back the accumulated fluids, thereby curbing the condition of blocked nose.
  4. Using a saline spray: This is one of the most ancient and trusted ways of treating blocked nose. By administering a saline or a nasal spray, the moisture in your nostrils increases and radically diminishes the inflammation.
  5. Use warm compresses: Using a warm compress has been the most reliable form of medication in times of high temperature and also at times of blocked nose. The compress that was dipped in hot water, when placed on the nose and forehead helps to unblock the nasal passages. The soothing effect of the warm compresses reduces the inflammation and facilitates the process of breathing.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Bone of my nose is bigger than the other one. Bad smell is also coming from my nose. In the morning while brushing blood also use to come. Please advise.

It is likely that you have a deviated nasal septum with sinusitis.this will need to be investigated including a nasal endoscopy and probably a CT scan of the sinuses. the oral bleeding is likely to be due to a gum infection for which you should consult a dental surgeon - periodontist. with regards
