Get root canal treatment done on that tooth if possible as soon as possible, if you take more painkillers your liver may get damaged.

In certain cases (developmental, syndromes of head and neck, TMJ arthritis) TMJ disorders are very very complicated and also symptoms overlaps with other atypical facial pain, myofascial pain etc. So a clear diagnosis cannot be made based on your history. Visit an oral medicine and radiology specialst (MDS) to confirm your diagnosis and treatment accordingly. Certain radiographs of TMJ can be taken to evaluate after clinical examination.

Sometimes after traumatic or difficult extraction leads to formation of scar tissue (gaanth. It will be of normal pink-brownish colour with no pain on touching. But it never became big and small with time frequently. Consult with some other dentist.

But cap is not fixed yet. How much it costs to fix now.
There are varieties of cap & cost varies with the dentist. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

•If your cavity in the tooth is caused by decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, I understand your concern. Recurring mouth ulcers can be due to lack of vitamic B12, stress, spicy foods etc. The ulcers you might be having APTHOUS ULCERS, which usually show recurrence. The food containing Vit. B12,avoiding spicy food & stress relaxation therapy can help you. Vitamin B-12 is mostly available only in animal foods: meat, fish, poultry, eggs, and dairy products. You can also get this important nutrient in some nutritional yeasts, as well as from fortified cereals and soy milk. Local application of Xylocain jelly can help you feeling better while eat & drink. Hope you find this helpful. Thanks for choosing Lybrate! Regards
