Sir. I have skin problems on my face. As pimples. This problem I am facing since last 2 year.
Sir tell me suitable so...
The eruption of pimples, acne, black heads, black spots, scars, pores and oily face are due to excessive sebum secreted by sebaceous glands and hair follicles especially on the face. Precautions- * Don't scratch or pinch your pimples. This will cause more damage---cause scars, pores and black spots. * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *For your information, many skin creams (mostly fairness cream brands) are considered harmful and banned by Central Govt, Health ministry during March, 2016. The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) supported the ban. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy. Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.

I am having Finax tablet and Regain 5% for hair loss treatment. How long I need to take Finax tablet. Is there any side effect of this tablet. Also, is the above mentioned therapy is ideal for MPB hair loss?

Diploma in Cosmetology, Diploma in Trichology - Cosmetology, Diploma in obesity management, B.H.M.S
Homeopath, Mumbai
Hi , this treatment is the usual medications prescibed by Dermatologist. Finax is finasteride and long term usage can result is loss of libido , not safe for long term use. Regain is minoxidil 5% can be used as local application. But it is life long, either homeopathic treatment will help in preventing further hair loss or Mesotherapy can help in rejuvenating the thin follicles.

I'm a 28yrs old my hair is falling too much I'm thinking to remove total hair what I should do?

I'm a 28yrs old my hair is falling too much I'm thinking to remove total hair what I should do?
Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Face skin is getting dry and small small white scale like dandruff coming out from skin.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, You can improve your dry skin by good and healthy intake of food which should includes vitamin A, C, E and protein, lots of water, application of good sunscreen before going out. Choose mild soaps that have added oils and fats. Avoid deodorant and antibacterial soaps, which are especially harsh on dry skin. After washing or bathing, gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so that some moisture remains on the skin (never ever rub the area). Apply the moisturizer or lubricating cream while your skin is still wet or moist from bathing. Petroleum jelly is a good choice. Cover the treated areas with plastic wrap to keep the petroleum jelly from staining clothes and furniture. Use a portable home humidifier or one attached to your furnace to add moisture to the air inside your home. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Alfaalfa Tonic and Petroleum 200/ twice daily, take them for 1 month. Use Schwabe's Skin care bathing bar, Calendula & Aloe Vera all purpose cream, Bakson's Body oil to be applied.

Dear there, it dark lips are not only symbol of bad habits. Even in some disease conditions and in some vitamin deficiencies your may have dark lips. That could be just extra melanin deposition in that particular area. Don't get panic, as its not a disease. Its time to get treated with ibt which helps you normalize your immunity and fades the dark pigmentation over your lips.

Homoeopathic treatment HAIR GROWTH OIL ( Wilmar Schwabe India) Apply twice weekly at night.Leave overnight A.C.9 ( BAKSON ) Chew 1 tab twice daily R-89 ( Dr Reckeweg) Drink 20 drops in 20 ml fresh water 3 times daily. R-89 ( Dr Reckeweg) Massage in hair roots 20-30 drops daily 0r alternate days one hour before bath.( In females one hour before bath) 6-8 glasss extra water daily 2 glas milk daily Avoid junk nd spicy food, fast food, cold drinks Like any other part of the body or component of health, hair needs a variety of nutrients to grow and be healthy,Here, the nutrients you need for a full head of hair—and the foods that pack them: Omega-3 Fatty Acids Good for more than your brain, omega-3 fatty acids nourish your whole body. The essential nutrient reaches both the hair shaft and the cell membranes in your scalp, nourishing the follicles and promoting healthy hair growth, Plus, they add elasticity to your hair, preventing it from breaking off and ending up in your shower drain. But get this—the body can't produce omega 3-fatty acids on its own; whatever you eat is what your body gets. So dig in! The foods to eat: Flaxseeds, walnuts, salmon, tuna, kale, Brussels sprouts, rapeseed oil. Zinc Boosting tissue growth and repair, zinc helps keep your scalp and hair stay healthy. It also regulates hormones (testosterone included) in the body and helps maintain production of oil-secreting glands on the scalp that help your hair grow. There's no need to go overboard, though. High levels of testosterone are actually linked to hair loss, 11 mg a day is all you need. While it's not proven your body will go on a T rampage if you consume too much zinc, there's no need to tempt hair follicle fate. The foods to eat: Chickpeas, wheat germ, oysters, beef, veal liver, roast beef. Protein Your hair is pretty much pure protein. So if you don't eat enough for both your muscles and hair, you'll have bulging biceps—but a bald head. And even if you do hang onto your hair, eating too little protein can turn it gray. Eat a diet rich in high-quality, naturally occurring protein. Wait, you're a veg or a vegan? No worries. As any good meatless eater knows, protein abounds in more than just animal sources. The foods to eat: Greek yogurt, egg yolks, kale, peanuts, beans, peas, lentils, tofu, chicken, turkey. Iron When it comes to healthy circulation, eating enough iron is clutch. Iron helps deliver blood to the body's cells. Neglect the nutrient and your blood can't carry enough oxygen to your scalp for good hair growth. Many doctors have seen a correlation between treatment for iron-deficient anemia and an increase in hair growth. The foods to eat: Dark leafy greens, whole grains, beans, red meat, turkey, egg yolks, clams, mussels, oysters. Vitamins A and C Both vitamins contribute to the production of sebum, the oily substance that your hair follicles spit out. Nature's hair conditioner, it keeps your hair from breaking off. Plus, vitamin C increases the amount of blood-boosting iron that your body can put to use. While some vitamin A is good for your scalp, more than 15,000 IU a day can actually spur hair loss The recommended daily allowance of the vitamin for men is 5,000 IU a day. The foods to eat: Swiss chard, spinach, broccoli, sweet potatoes, pumpkin. Magnesium Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions—hair growth included. Magnesium deficiencies have been linked to hair loss in both men and women. The foods to eat: Almonds, spinach, cashews, lentils, brown rice, halibut. Selenium A trace element that helps the body make selenoproteins, which regulate reproduction, metabolism, DNA synthesis, and immunity, selenium also stimulates hair follicles to encourage new growth. Scrimp on selenium and your body will churn out way too much selenoproteins, leading to hair follicle abnormalities, reduced growth, and hair loss.

I want to know what body oil is good for skin dryness, skin tan. I stay in Pune and the climate is very dry.
Pune has climate like an airconditioned city. So do not blame pune climate. As far as oil is concerned all oils are good. Make sure that you take unrefined oil. For dry skin, buy a plastic brush with about 1" long flexible bristles. Such brushes re available at any plastic goods seller for 30 to 50 rs and are used for washing clothes. Rub your body during your bath when it is wet. Wash again. If you follow the advice dryness will go away in a few days time.

Risks and Treatment of Dry Skin

MBBS, MD - Dermatology
Dermatologist, Delhi
Risks and Treatment of Dry Skin

Dry skin is a condition caused by the lack of moisture in skin. Fine lines and wrinkles are just some of the conditions, which may be caused due to dry skin. Dry skin can also be very uncomfortable. The condition is mostly caused by environmental factors such as exposure to harsh weather conditions or getting soaked in hot water.

People at risk:

  1. Age: People who are older than 40 years of age tend to be more at risk of dry skin than people who are younger than 40 years.
  2. Climate: As mentioned earlier, weather conditions play a pivotal role in causing dry skin. Therefore, people who live in areas where the climate is either very hot or very cold tend to get dry skin more often than people who live in temperate climates. Low humidity is another factor which causes dry skin.
  3. Profession: Some professions, such as nursing or hairstyling requires frequent usage of hot water all through the day, which can also lead to dry skin.
  4. Swimming: Swimming is one of the major causes of dry skin. This is especially true in pools, which have chlorine. This is because chlorine increases the itchiness on your skin.

Treatments:

  1. Lifestyle changes: Usually, lifestyle changes such as avoiding long, hot showers and putting moisturizers are good enough to make sure that dry skin goes away.
  2. Lactic acid: Creams with lactic acid and urea can be prescribed by your doctor, if the dryness of your skin does not go away with moisturizers. These creams are usually over-the-counter medications.
  3. Prescription creams: Prescription creams are given, only when conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis or ichthyosis are present.
  4. Wet dressing: Wet dressing is given only when dermatitis has set in, as it mostly help in preventing the infection.
  5. Oiling: Oiling your body, especially with fish or flaxseed oil, ensures that your body does not succumb to dry skin.
  6. Hand sanitizer: Normal hand sanitizers tend to make your hands dry. Thus, dermatologists recommend hydrating hand sanitizers that allow your hands to maintain their moisture. Therefore, whenever you are using a hand sanitizer, use a hydrating one.

Hi! Fungal infection tends to affect folds of the skin, moist areas like groins, armpits, mouth, genitals, under the breasts, webs between fingers and toes, etc. Our skin protects us from fungal/yeast attack, but any cut or break in the continuity of the skin can allow penetration of fungus. It gives rise to rash, eruptions, redness, burning, intolerable itching and abnormal discharges at times. Fungal infection tends to last for many years if not treated well. It is also contagious. Avoid self medications. You can consult on private chat for the treatment options.

Drinking at least between 8/ 10 glasses of water every day is another great way to prevent hair loss. Water helps wash off toxins from your body. These toxins could be a major reason for hair loss. Drink distilled water or at least filtered water that does not contain chlorine, lead, etc. For healthy hair.
