Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Dear lybrate-user, apply heat fermentation with diclofenac ointment once a day for a week. Wear knee cap. Lying flat on bed put rolled towel under your kne and press it 20 times. Repeat it twice a day for 10 days. If still pain persists take inferential therapy.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises. 3. Use lumber spine belt. 4. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 5. Do Hot fermentation twice a day. 6. Don't sit on floor. 7. Don't do forward bending. 8. Don't lift heavy things. 9. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum

Hii. Doctor. I have one problem which makes me sad. I m 23 yrs unmarried girl. Since 6 month I have stomach pain around my belly bottom and more in left side or lower part of stomach the pain is occur when I m pressing my stomach with my fingers than pain is realise. Last 6 month every month this type of stomach pain in come. And 5 to 6 days the pain automatically gone. Now a days again the pain is coming. Please tell me what I can do. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. My guess is that you will require a clinical evaluation and ultrasound, you should consult a gynaecologist initially followed by a general surgeon if required. You will probably have to visit a specialist doctor for this but this should not make you sad in any way because diagnosis and management can be done. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. If you have pain which is localized to your back and neck region without any radiation or any associated neurological symptoms, then do intensive physical therapy, take a short course of anti-inflammatory medications, take care of posture both neck and lower back region, u can also use analgesic spray for local application etc, if it does not improve then please contact me as we might have to get some investigations done for you. I am having body ache from four five days. The pain is on lower back and legs and neck. My working schedule is very hectic. Though on sunday I have enough time to rest. Please suggest few exercise. Backache may be due to poor posture and calcium and proper nutritional deficiency. Advice her to keep posture straight. Take proper diet and calcium rich diet. Take calcium supplements. Do morning walk atleast for half hour.

Most common pain is knee pain.You may worry that exercising could cause more damage or pain. But the opposite is true: Strengthening the muscles that support your knee, and keeping them flexible, is the best way to prevent further injuries. Start slowly, and build your strength over time. Some muscle soreness is normal when you exercise. But you shouldn’t feel more pain, especially in your knee. If you do, stop and contact your doctor.

For pain take tablet paracetamol and we need to do exercise regularly and avoid pickles and papads in your diet and take tablet folvite twice a day for a week

Try few things for your back pain: - Apply Ice and Heat Heating pads and cold packs can comfort tender trunks. Most doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours after an injury -- particularly if there is swelling — and then switching to heat. You can use whichever you find comforting as long as your skin is protected. - Limit Bed Rest Studies show that people with short-term low-back pain who rest feel more pain and have a harder time with daily tasks than those who stay active. -Keep Exercising Activity is often the best medicine for back pain. Simple exercises like walking can be very helpful. But remember to move in moderation, Stay away from strenuous activities like gardening and avoid whatever motion caused the pain in the first place. -Maintain Good Posture most people have poor posture when going about their daily activities, putting unnecessary strain on their backs. -Strengthen Your Core Most people with chronic back pain would benefit from stronger abdominal muscles. If the abdominals are weak, other areas must pick up the slack. When we strengthen the abdominals, it often reduces the strain on the lower back. - Improve Flexibility Too much tension and tightness can cause back pain. By increasing flexibility you need to put an equal load throughout the body from the feet all the way up to the head. -Sleep the Right Way The amount of rest you get is important, and so is the position you get it in. Sleeping in a bad position or on a mattress without support can cause back pain. Back sleepers should put pillows under their knees. Side sleepers should place pillows between their knees to keep their spine in a neutral position. Stomach sleeping causes the neck and head to twist and can put undue stress on the back. -Use Relaxation Techniques Research shows that practices such as meditation, deep breathing and yoga, which help put the mind at rest, can do wonders for the back. -See a Specialist Developing an individualized exercise plan is essential to managing chronic back pain. I have a plate in my arm and I want to remove it, how much time my bone will take to get heal?

As Long as the fracture is healed the plate can be removed safely. the screw holes can take somewhere between 6 months to 1 year to fill and until then undue stress should be avoided.

Hello lybrate user back pain due to improper posture and muscle weakness leads pain and stiffness. X-ray findings or view are beneficial for purpose of proper diagnosis by doctor only, there is no use for patient, so dnt worry about your tests or x-ray report. I would like to suggest you only to do regular back exercises for three months in supervision of physio. For more you can take thermotherapy treatment on regular basis.

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from backache (back pain): * first correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back. You can use lumber belt for support. * do regular back strength exercises. Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * do not sleep on very soft bed, sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * do tadasana and bhjangasana for back strengthening. I have an operation on my ankle to remove one my wire & two screws from my ankle. Twenty days gone. I felt some pain. Ian using aceclofenac with paracetamol for five days, two each day. I am relived from pain. If I get pain again can I use the medicine for another five days? swelling is also there.

Hi for pain and swelling take cold water fomentation for 20 minutes thrice a day for 5 days. Keep ankle elevated. Do stretching and gentle massage of hand. If still you don't get relief and need further advice, consult me via lybrate.

Hello. We can't reverse the established pathology back, but we can control the process in the stage it is so that it wouldn't grow further. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.
