Hi 1) wear comfortable sports shoes 2) make daily routine of exercise 3) rule out calcium and vit d deficiency 4) do proper warm up before exercise and cool down after exercise 5) do stretching of legs do exercise under supervision of skilled physiotherapist. Backache is the commonest ailment. Do not worry, rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

My left knee is paining last night ant this is not damaged. How can I remove the pain and feel relief. So please help...
1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar.

Hi. Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? any underlying medical condition? the pain in legs can be because of - muscle cramps (due to tiredness or dehydration), shin splints (doing activity over and over on hard surfaces can bring this on. You may also be more likely to get shin splints if you have flat feet or your feet turn outward. Rest your legs to feel better. Ice helps), tendinitis (you can get it from overworking the calf muscle or climbing the stairs, apply ice to get some relief), sprains (do rest, ice, compression & elevation). Other causes are varicose veins, arterial disease, sciatica, diabetic neuropathy. Medication: meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - arnica 200 and rhus tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply schwabe's topi-arnica and topi mp gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter.

Dear , please inform me about status of diabetes, means fbs, ppbs, hba1c, lipid profile, s creatinine, urine micral, and urine routine reports. Also tell me height, weight, duration of disease, any other diseases, family member having diabetes or any complication etc. Now pain may be due to neuropathy due to diabetes or impaired blood circulation or any postural pain or may be due to injury. So please give me details so I can help you in better way. Thanks.

Hello Doc, My age is 24 and weight is 75. Due to my overweight body I get pain in my joints and I get tired often after 1 hour of work or so. I was very active before some months but nowadays I feel fatigue. Also my sugar level has gone significantly up. Today without eating anything it came around 150. What to do.

It appears that you have t2 diabetes, which needs regular treatment. From your info it is not clear if you are taking any treatment now. Your bmi is 29.29kgs /m2 which means your excessively overweight. Increased weight also increases blood sugar level as fat in the body opposes insulin action (insulin resistance). If you are not on antidiabetic treatment then please start taking anti diabetic drugs immediately. Apart from treatment you also have to work towards reducing the weight. Your ideal body weight should be 54 kgs. Which means you have 21 kgs extra. Please take all necessary action right away.

Either it's plantar fascitis or tenonitis... Calcium deficiency can also cause pain in lower limbs. She should start taking calcium tablets atleast daily

I am a 40 years old male. I am suffering from a stress at back side of my knee in my right leg. While sitting at ground I feel stress and pain also in vains. And when I get up I cant put full weight at ground by right leg. When I walk at least 10 steps then it is getting normal. While walking there is no problem at all. But sitting time and getting up time it is pain full. Kindly note that when I perform namaaz (prayer) and when I sit first time it is more pain full and stress, but after repeating I mean second third time, the stress is getting less. I have it from past one and half months. Please advice me what to do. Any exercise or what medicines I have to take.

I will suggest your mom to take Tablet folvite 5mg once a day for six months and tablet vitamin D3 60000iu once a week for six months and also few mild exercise regularly

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Avoid tea or coffee. Sleep 3 hrs after dinner. Practice yoga. You can have paracetamol if pain is severe.

You must have speained your acapular muscles. Try doing shrugs, push up in standing, and retractions. Also apply ice to relieve pain.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

1. Take paracetamol 500mg, one tablet sos upto a maximum of three tablets daily after food 2. Cold sponging sos 3. Drink plenty of water 4. Take rest 4. If no relief do blood examination like esr, cbc, widal/ typhidot test, blood for mp/malaria antigen and dengue antigen (ns1) test after consulting doctor 5. Consult me for further advice.
