Hello sir I've married a three months ago. My wife age is 20. Unfortunately she is pregnant now we are afraid of being parents so early. I talked some doctor here and they all said that abortion of first child is too risky for her even there is some possibility that we can't be parents in future so in this case what can we do and if she Carry this baby what has to do for her for a healthy pregnancy? By the way, she is very afraid and suffering from pain of belly and vomiting and some kind of breathing problems. So please kindly give some better suggestion for us.

Hai. They were right. Please don't abort the God given first child and then regret if you have complications when you actually want to have a baby in future. 20 years is just out of adolescence. So pregnancy can be stressful for her. Your Obstetrician will guide and prescribe drugs to take of her present problems. Best wishes.

I am 28 year old female was pregnant of 6 weeks I had done my own medical abortion using misoprost after taking medicine a big follicle was come out through my vagina and there was still bleeding for 2 weeks. When I consult a doctor she said its not sure that you have done successful abortion. She said She will do again abortion using instruments i.e DNC or you can have sex again which help in complete abortion. So please my question is that is it relevant to have sex again? Is she was suggested was right I have to do or not. please help me.

What I would recommend is you please get a sonography done. Also please let me know your blood group. These are very important for your well being. When the little member of the family arrives, a father spends a lot of time with their kids and by nurturing and playing with them, understand their need and always stand by them.

As time passes, the little child learns to speak and walk, and the father lends himself to teach and help his baby explore the world. The little child is convinced and believes that his father is the ultimate man on the planet and he looks up to be like him someday.

New responsibilities bring about a bout of stress

Is it difficult to don the role of a father? Yes. However, no father feels so because of the love and happiness he gets from his little bundle of joy.

A father has a host of duties. One essential thing is to look after the members of the family and earn the bread for them. As he ages, all these involvements start taking a toll on his mental and physical health and make him vulnerable to stress and anxiety.

He could have a new boss in his office who’s driving him crazy, or he may have new responsibilities coming up with the promotion. Or maybe his business has extended and kept him preoccupied with different works. He is yearning to return home faster and play with his kids, but he is helpless.

Quick tips to help them de-stress

For ages now, the primary breadwinner of a family is the man. Though women have started earning as well, man is still considered responsible for the family’s financial well-being.

Anxiety and stress go hand-in-hand in a father’s life. It is essential to know ways to help them de-stress themselves which will help him to not only fulfill their responsibilities, but will also provide satisfaction and happiness of being a father.

Be it a young and new father or an old and experienced father. Following are a few ways to help them de-stress:

  1. Taking a walk every now and then is really a great way to de-stress and a 10 minute walk every day can do wonders.

  2. Breath being the life force, practicing Pranayama, the breathing technique makes them mentally and physically active

  3. Engage them in a refreshing hobby like gardening. Small plants in your portico or a full-fledged garden in your backyard, they have immense impact on your well-being

  4. Reduce screen time whenever possible

  5. Family time is important as is their me-time. Make them take time for themselves and let them hang out with their buddies

  6. Request them to practice stress relieving poses like Eagle pose three or four times a week. Also, indulge in rejuvenating spas and massages

  7. Treat them to a good movie with their partner or musical of their choice.

Yoga to relieve the stress

Fathers play a significant role in the life of the child, and the father is considered the guiding light for the children. Father’s love is reflected and felt at every stage as the child grows up. Modern life comprises of stress, and it could eventually lead to health issues such as chest pain, insomnia, and others.

Yoga helps in relaxing the muscle and helps the mind to refresh up. It lowers the level of stress hormone and increases the energy level to a great extent. People who perform Yoga on a regular basis have a healthy mind and body.

Thus, on this particular occasion of Fathers’ Day, it is worthy to celebrate it in a way that would prove to be beneficial for the father. Let the father be celebrated and let he be offered the gift of health on this special day!

Yes if your placenta has moved up there should be no reason why you cannot try for a normal delivery unless there are some other problems.

First period may be delayed by a few days. You can try for baby after 3 months. Take advice of a gynecologist after discussing your full case reports before you plan next pregnancy.

First and the foremost thing is become comfortable and easy with each other sex you should have only when you feel like it and not just because you got married if you are comfortable with each other then muscles relax your hormones and chemicals get released to make penetration easy and enjoyable still for first time you sure can use some lubricant to make it more easy and comfortable for both.

How Social Media Affects Your Mental Health?

Being away or oblivious to social media is synonymous to not following the herd. Social media probably is no more the latest fad; it is the given code to take a deeper look into the present age. The rewarding fact about social networking sites is their ability to transport us to people and places millions of miles away from us. This epoch dictates of overproduction and maximum utilization of labor and snatches away the boon of communication.

Below mentioned points showcase how social media addiction negatively affects our mental health:

  1. Peer Pressure- Social media use also creates the fear of missing out because you want to do what everyone else is doing. This evokes anxiety and will give rise to negative feelings and emotions, which again create mental health problems and stress and anxiety disorders
  2. Fatigue and Stress- When you are using social media, you are constantly switching from one task to another because there is just so much to do and see. This information abundance can tire out your brain, especially when it is received chaotically. Your brain needs time and room for absorbing the data and processing the information, but multitasking on social media makes your brain work overtime. This can prevent it from relaxing and it will become exhausted as it tries to deal with the barrage of information. Hence, the fatigue puts your mind under a lot of stress and you may not be able to concentrate on anything at all.
  3. Social Anxiety- Even though the whole point of social media is to allow people to stay connected with others, it doesn’t have the same satisfaction and element associated with actual human interaction, which is a crucial human need. In fact, in some ways, it is too distant and this is not a good thing for those who become dependent on social media as it can lead to social anxiety. Those who are already suffering from this problem will find it even more difficult to indulge in face-to-face interaction. Real human interaction can become extremely scary for people as it is becoming common to hide behind your computer screens and not go out at all.
  4. Distraction- Social media is just tailor-made for decreasing our productivity because you spend hours looking at everyone else’s life when you could be doing something else. This means that most of your time is spent on viewing photos, liking posts, and writing comments and these activities don’t really require the use of your intellectual abilities. They aren’t intellectual at all and distract you from activities that are such as reading, studying informational articles on the internet, etc. Your brain doesn’t get enough food for development and your intellectual abilities can decline in this way. Your brain will slow down and not be able to respond quickly in various situations.
  5. Insecurity- One of the major problems with social media is that posts typically present an idealized version of what’s going on in everyone’s life. Usually, what you see isn’t actually reality because everyone has their problems and issues. Nevertheless, you end up comparing your own life with that of others and think less of your own. If people in your newsfeed seem to be having a good time, it will make you envious and affect your mood negatively. Research has shown that widespread use of social media can demotivate people, make them aggressive and cause a decline in confidence.

So are you being adversely affected by social media? Here are some signs to look out for:

  1. Low self-esteem.
  2. Feeling low when you see other people's images and lifestyle.
  3. Envy of others people lives - wishing your life was like someone else's.
  4. Finding social media as your first and only choice of activity done for enjoyment.
  5. Not having as many face to face conversations with your relatives and friends and feeling disconnected.

Consuming 1 teaspoon of ghee everyday especially during young age, will support the intellectual functioning of the brain. Please do not sleep on your arm it can cause such problem. Use pillow and change position of your baby sometimes left lateral sometimes right lateral, so that you and your baby too can have a good sleep. Do not sleep only on one side, it is not good for you and your baby also.

3 years ago I had medical abortion then after that I did not take any antibiotics. will that abortion have any infection?

Ramadeviji, Thanks for the query. If abortion was done 3 years back, then there is absolutely no problem of infection now. If any infection were to occur it would have been seen immediately after the procedure. Plus if the procedure was done with all the due aseptic care, no antibiotic is needed. Thanks
