Hi onion is very good vegetable to treat sexual impotence. It increases libido and strengthens reproducing organs. White onions are best for this purpose. Take about 5-10 gm root powder of Ladyfinger in a glass of milk. Add 2 tsp of mishri in this milk and drink it. This will prove helpful in improving sexual vigour. kindly take 1 tsf of triphala in hot water at bed time, regularly. Take dinner before 7 pm. avoid eating after 7 pm. Take bitter gourd, bottle gourd, moong daal regularly. Take 4 to 5 liters of water. Cut down sugar and salt in your diet. Take sleep 7 to 8 hrs at night regularly.

I need to ask a question I am having low pellets in my blood around 18500 and hemoglobin of 12.1 what died I should prefer I was a chain smokers but since a week I left smoking Please suggest a healthy diet and routine for me.

1. Eat well – Take a balanced Diet comprising of 45% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 25% protein, plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits. Don’t over eat. Avoid junk, spicy, oily, high calorie, cholesterol rich diet, don’t skip your breakfast. Take warm, homemade food. Avoid food and drink from outside. Don’t skip or postpone your meal. Minimize consumption of refined grains like white rice, white bread, sugary or refined food. 2. Keep hydrated- Drink 2 liters /6-8 glasses of water daily 3. Do regular exercise for one hour daily like brisk walking/Jugging etc 4. Take adequate rest- 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night is required to remain healthy 5. Avoid stress, anxiety, depression, agitation etc 6. Find time for relaxation and enjoyments with friends and family 7. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control emotion, improve concentration and relieve stress 8. Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Avoid extremely hot water. Hot water can dry out the skin and aggravate a dry, flaky scalp. The same is true for heat styling products such as a blow-dryer. Excessive heat can cause the scalp to become irritated and dry. 4. Give yourself a scalp massage. A scalp massage causes blood to flow to the scalp, and helps clear any blocked pores that may be interfering with sebum production. Sebum is the oil produced in the sebaceous glands of the scalp. Massaging the scalp also loosens excess dead skin and dandruff, making it easier to wash away. Give yourself a scalp massage before or during your shampoo, or even when you're relaxing in front of the tv. Putting olive oil on your fingertips before the massage gives your scalp added benefits. After the massage, continue with an olive oil treatment.

Bariatric Surgery - Diet and Exercise You Must Follow

Bariatric surgery refers to the procedure by which excessive fat is removed gradually within few months from an individual’s body after modification in size of stomach and modification in gut pathway and length by laproscopically (key hole surgery).

The diet that must succeed a bariatric surgery changes with time. A post bariatric surgery diet will tentatively look like:

  1. Initial stages: At the initial stage, eating solid food should be strictly avoided. A liquid diet with added protein can is a feasible option as long as it does not have any solid particles. The doctor may also prescribe regular and intermittent consumption at the beginning.
  2. Intermediary stages: The diet must be changed post second till the sixth week as the meal is made thicker. However, solid food must still be expelled. Due to the surgery, it is only normal that you would feel full after small consumption thereby, necessitating regular intake of food within short span of time.
  3. Final stages: Post sixth week, incorporating solid food in the diet is generally allowed by the doctors. With the introduction of fuller meals, regular intake of food should be reduced and four meals a day should be the norm.

Along with a fixed diet chart, you may also practice certain exercises to expedite the process of recovery. Some of them are:

  1. Light exercise: Depending on the condition, few patients may be prescribed exercises every week for an hour.
  2. Multiple exercises: Few, on the other hand, may be prescribed by the surgeons to exercise twice every week, generally for an hour.

It could be tension and stress type headache, chronic anemia, low bp, migraine, hypertension, dehydration, hypoglycaemia so first get yourself screened up for all these conditions as soon as possible. Till then take tablet brufen twice daily with tablet rantac empty stomach for 3 days.

Green tea is the over hyped commercial product to cleanse the system. Green tea will not resolve your stool problem, eating a diet rich in fiber will. Banana is a natural food, good for skin, hair & food pipe, does cure chronic constipation minus medicines sold over the counter.

Can I use coconut oil boiling curry leafs in oil to control white and grey hair and to get back black hair. Suggest me pls.

You can use the oil which you are preparing but don't use hot oil. Make it cool and then use it. This will help you to condition the scalp. Hair roots are situated inside the scalp. Melanocytes which produce pigment melanin are also situated inside the scalp. It needs nourishment from within. Diet plays a major role in controlling grey hair. But this is one of the reason. There are many reasons like genetic. Stress. Thyroid. It is important to rule out the cause and then correct it.

I am 22 years and I am having a glass of cumin seed's water with a mixture of honey n lemon to reduce weight. Is it fine to have this mixture? .

Dear friend drinking only cumin lemon and honey water will not help you much for weight reduction. It will just improve your digestion so gradually you may reduce few kgs. Keep realistic goals in one month 20 kg weight reduction is not possible and not advisable you may fall in truble. Reduce your weight gradually in a month reduce 5 kgs by following proper balance diet. If you want you can contact me for further procedure.

If someone 24 is experiencing chest pain, rib pain, and arm pain more after being prescribed Trazodone, Hydroxyzine, and Citalopram should they let it go if it's the second day noticing these symptoms. Someone at 24 is taking strong pain killers with anti anxiety medicines, the heart remains calm while effect of medicines last, but beats faster later. Do not take these medicines, get basic tests for heart done- ecg, echo followed by stress test, bp check up, blood tests for sugar & total lipids, get back here for more guidance.

I am a diabetic patient and everyday I take pills for it but I alternatively also drink alcohol(2 packs only), so is any problem will create in my health?

If you mean 2 pegs only, then 2 small pegs (30 ml each) should not be a problem. But, if you think alcohol is going to give you any benefit, then you are grossly mistaken. The proven health benefits are specifically for red wine only, not other forms of alcohol. Hence, my medical advise is that if you want to take alcohol, take only red wine 60 ml/day. Otherwise quit alcohol altogether. Many people have been misconstruing doctor' s advise and using it as an excuse to continue with their alcohol habits. That is harmful to you as well as wrong to put the blame on doctors.
