Height is usually always dominated by Genetics. How short are your parents? If you are their size or slightly taller then them, chances are you wont grow very much more...There are no amazing magic ways to get taller...Get lots of nutrition and calcium. Get TONS of calcium. Bigger bones means bigger you. Work out and play sports alot. Also greatly emphasize stretching..Posture is also important. Walk as tall and as straight as possible and over time this will add a handful of centimetres to your height...take ashwagandha powder 2-2 tsf twice a day and lakshadi guggul 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water..

I am 24 years old. Since last 9 months I have been having scanty periods. Light red bleeding lasting only 3 days . My normal period would last 5 days with proper bleeding. I took ayurvedic medicine for 3 months and for 3 months my periods were fine. But again as soon as I stopped the medicine they started becoming scanty. In Aug 2015 I had a scan that showed polycystic appearing ovaries I haven't taken any tests or treatment for it. I will definitely go to a gynecologist now and get required tests done. As off now. I am worried about this one thing. I read on the net that scanty periods is due to high prolactin which is caused by tumor in pituitary gland. Is this true? I understand a doctor can give diagnosis only after testing but Going by my symptoms does it look like tumor? I am otherwise very healthy. I am not overweight. Even though my periods are scanty I get them regularly. I don't smoke drink and my exercise includes yoga and brisk walk. Also just a week before I am about to get my periods I started breaking acne on forehead which goes away immediately after periods. Please help. Does this problem look worrisome?

Hi lybrate user your problem is more of hormonal imbalance. Please don't worry about prolactinoma if you don't have other symptoms like headache, blurring of the vision. PCOD is known for above period pattern. You should worry about fertility issue. You may need ovulation induction when planning for baby .

Malaria is a life-threatening disease transmitted through bite of anopheles mosquito infected with a plasmodium parasite.The parasites travel to the liver, where they mature and infect red blood cells. Symptoms of malaria develop within 1-4 weeks following the infection.like: high fever with shaking chills profuse sweating headache nausea/vomiting diarrhea/bloody stools anemia muscle pain seizures coma Dragging heavy sensation in abdomen(Enlarged spleen). Symptoms may appear in cycles. Episodes of symptoms may occur every 48 hours in infection with P. Vivax or P. Ovale. ..This cycle of symptoms is also one of the major signs that you are infected with malaria.

Dengue is cause by mosquito k/a aedes egypsi. It usally bits in day time. You can have variey of syptoms common ones are: fever usually high grade more than 100degree celcius, fatigue, anorexia, body pain, joint pain, restlessness. Sometimes chest infection also its very important to diagnose it for which a doctor will ask you for some tests. To diagnose dengue antigen in tour blood and will also look for your platelets levels. Precautions: use mosquito nets, mosquito repellants, coil etc at home keep your home clean and avoid collectikn of water near by eg coolers pots etc coz the mosqito breeds in water in case you have fever consult a doctor and get your tests done drink plenty of oral fliuds like coconut water plain water juices ets.

U need to take balanced diet foods give stamina banana banana has a combination of fibre and simple fructose or natural fruit sugars. Having a banana gives you instant energy and increases your stamina in a long run. Peanut butter peanut butter contain plenty of omega-3 fatty acids that are good fats. They protect your heart, ease pain and also give you energy for a long periods of time as they get digested slowly. Beetroot juice beetroot juice can be called a'fatigue killer' you need to have a glass full of beetroot juice before your workout to extend the duration of physical exercise. Beetroot has vitamins a and c that build stamina. Water if your body is not hydrated, you can never feel energetic. Water removes all the toxin from your body so try and drink as much water as you can. Red grapes red grapes have an abundance of natural sugars that can be converted into energy instantly. Grapes also contain a chemical called resveratol that helps to build up stamina in the long run. Oatmeal oatmeal comes under the category of complex carbohydrates. It keeps you full for a long time and continues to give you energy for hours. Coffee coffee or rather caffeine is an instant stimulant. It re-energises your brain and you feel alert after having a cup of steaming coffee. While caffeine in large amounts can be harmful, its regulated use cures migraines and gives beans beans are rich in iron and iron increases the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood. Therefore, beans are food that are very good to increase stamina. Green vegetables green leafy vegetables have lots of fibre and they are also rich in vitamin c. The fibre keeps you full and vitamin c is an energy boosting nutrient. Citrus fruits citrus fruits are great for your energy levels because they cleanse the body of toxins and increase your immunity. A glass of citrus juice in the morning will help you feel energetic for the whole day. Brown rice brown rice is a complex carbohydrate that has lots of fibre and vitamin b complex. It has less of starch and thus gets digested slowly. That is why, you feel full for longer and also remain energetic. Apples apple are very rich in iron. Iron increases the hemoglobin count of your blood and allows every cell in your body to get re-energised quicker. Green tea just like caffeine, green tea is also a brain stimulant. But it is a healthier choice because it has antioxidants that cleanse your system and keep fatigue at bay. Almonds almonds have wealth of vitamin e and omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are good fats that can be metabolised to give you energy. They do not accumulate in the body. Soyabean soybean is essentially a muscle building nutrient. It creases muscle strength that gives you the stamina to work out for long periods of time or do physical work. Dry fruits dry fruits contain concentrated nutrients. When you have dry fruits, you feel full for a long time and the healthy omega-3 fatty acids in them gives you a lot of energy. Pumpkin pumpkin is vegetable that contributes to your over all health. It is not high on calories but it fills your stomach and controls hormones to make you feel fitter and more energetic. Corn corn is one of the best forms of carbohydrates that you can have. It gives your body readily available glycogen that can be turned into energy in minutes.

Dandruff may be due to various causes other than fungal infection like Vitamin and mineral deficiency, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, Hormones imbalances and many other causes. Avoid all sorts of soaps, shampoo and detergent chemicals, Use nothing too hot in winter and use nothing too chilled in summer. Avoid Junk food, spicy pungent highly seasoned food. Hi, Try having warm lemon water with honey every morning. Below tips could help you start your weight-loss journery. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have atleast one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10. The vaginal area can feel painful or sore in the immediate period after childbirth.This usually improves within 6 to 12 weeks after the birth. I always recommend pelvic floor exercises to help make the situation better in this case.Your perineum can feel sore, especially if your skin tore or you needed stitches to repair a tear or episiotomy after giving birth. So wait for some more time andd ask your wife to do KEGELS FLOOR EXERCISES for Vaginal muscle as well a Pelvic floor muscle strengthening as vaginal muscles become weeak after child birth and moreover by doing these exercisess vaginal walls regains its Pre delivery flexibility to some extent.Use alubricant while having sex as Vaginal walls become dry due to lack of vaginal fluids secretions due to reduced oestrogen levels post delivery due to breast feeding.Dont forget to use contraceptive measures while haaving sex.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

Shivani see first of all you should understand what s PCOD , and what r the things you can do to reduce the suffering. with one month of medicine you may feel all right for time being but it's not permanent . so please feel free to talk to me .. or consult ur gynecologist for further treatment..
