The principal symptoms of dengue are: -high fever and at least two of the following: -severe headache -severe eye pain (behind eyes) -joint pain -muscle and/or bone pain -rash -mild bleeding manifestation (nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: -severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting -red spots or patches on the skin -bleeding from nose or gums -vomiting blood -black, tarry stools  -drowsiness or irritability -pale, cold, or clammy skin -difficulty breathing

There are many causes of headache. i.e. fever, acidity, gastritis, stress, injury , eye sight weakness, apply any good pain balm on head. Try to take good sleep at night. Use pain balm on head thrice a day. It can give relief instant . or also can take tab. Dolo 650 mg thrice a day after meal, tab. Pan 40 mg once a day for 3 days . if not ok then checkup b.p. , cbc, blood sugar, eye sights, and consult again.

Hi soak 10 almonds over night in water. On the next day, peel off the skin, and blend the almonds in a blender with 1 cup of cow hot milk (or crush them in hot cow milk) and add a little bit of saffron, ginger and cardamon to it. Drink this every morning.

1. Apply proctosedyl ointment 2-3 times daily before and after passing stool. 2. Sit in a bath tub containing warm water with little salt for some time twice daily (sitz bath). 3. Take two tea spoonful lof softovac/naturolax powder with a glass of warm water/milk in the evening or syrup duphalac 3 tsf (15ml) twice daily if there is constipation. 4. The fatty liver the build up fat in the liver normally there is some amount of fat is normal in liver but if it more than 5to 10% of the at of! over then it is fatty liver it is a reversable condition that can be resolved with changed lifestyles there two types alcoholic and non alcoholic it normally had no symptoms and typically does not cause permanent damage. Liver converts harmful things of body to harmless substance. So naturally you have to give rest to liver by taking less harmful things. There by recoup the liver itself.

1. It keeps your immune system at great -- sexually active people take fewer sick days. People who have sex have higher levels of what defends your body against germs, viruses, and other intruders. Studies found that college students who had sex once or twice a week had higher levels of certain antibody compared to students who had sex less often.

You should still do all the other things that make your immune system happy, such as:

Eat right- balance diet.

Stay active - do morning workouts.

Get enough sleep- at least 6-8 hours.

Always use a condom if you don't know both of your std statuses.

2. It boosts your libido -- having sex will make sex better and will improve your libido. For women, having sex ups vaginal lubrication, blood flow, and elasticity, she says, all of which make sex feel better and help you crave more of it.

3. It improves women's bladder control -- a strong pelvic floor is important for avoiding incontinence, something that will affect about 30% of women at some point in their lives.

Good sex is like a workout for your pelvic floor muscles. When you have an orgasm, it causes contractions in those muscles, which strengthens them.

4. Can be counted as an exercise -- sex is a really great form of exercise. It won't replace the treadmill, but it counts for something.

Sex uses about five calories per minute, four more calories than watching tv. It gives you a one-two punch: it bumps up your heart rate and uses various muscles.

6. Can lower heart attack risk -- a good sex life is good for your heart. Besides being a great way to raise your heart rate, sex helps keep your estrogen and testosterone levels in balance. When either one of those is low you begin to get lots of problems, like osteoporosis and even heart disease.

Having sex more often may help. During one study, men who had sex at least twice a week were half as likely to die of heart disease as men who had sex rarely.

7. As a pain-reducer -- before you reach for an aspirin, try for an orgasm. Orgasm can block pain -- it releases a hormone that helps raise your pain threshold.

Stimulation without orgasm can also do the trick. It has been found that vaginal stimulation can block chronic back and leg pain, and many women have genital self-stimulation can reduce menstrual cramps, arthritic pain, and in some cases even headache.

8. Reduces the chances of prostate cancer -- men who ejaculated frequently (at least 21 times a month) were less likely to get prostate cancer. You don't need a partner to reap this benefit: sexual intercourse, nocturnal emission, and masturbation were all part of the equation.

However it is still not clear that sex was the only reason that mattered in this aspect. As lot of factors affect cancer risk. But more sex won't hurt it rather.

9. It improves sleep -- you may nod off more quickly after sex, and for good reason. After orgasm, the hormone prolactin is released, which is responsible for the feelings of relaxation and sleepiness.

10. Stress reliever -- being close to your partner can soothe stress and anxiety. Touching and hugging can release your body's natural feel-good hormone. sexual arousal releases a brain chemical that revs up your brain's pleasure and reward system.

Sex and intimacy can boost your self-esteem and happiness, too.

Things to know about Hernia

Hernia is not life threatening, but is commonly experienced by a number of people. You will experience hernia when an organ pushes through the muscles or tissues surrounding them. A hernia can occur anywhere in the body. The most common areas affected by it are the abdominal area, upper thigh, groin and belly button. In most cases, a surgery is required to treat this condition.

There are 4 common types of hernias. These are:

  1. Inguinal hernia: This is the most common type of hernia and affects more men than women. It occurs when the intestines push through the lower abdominal wall into the inguinal canal. 
  2. Hiatal hernia: This commonly affects elderly people and occurs when the stomach pushes upwards through the diaphragm. It may also affect children if they are born with a congenital birth defect. 
  3. Umbilical hernia: This affects children and occurs when the intestine pushes through abdominal wall near the bellybutton. 
  4. Incisional hernia: This occurs after an abdominal surgery when the intestine pushes through the scar or other weak tissues. 

A hernia can develop overnight or over a period of time. It can be triggered by many factors that cause weakening of muscles and strain the body. 

Some of these are:

  1. Congenital defects such as the abdominal wall failing to close properly
  2. Age
  3. Persistent coughing
  4. Surgical errors or injuries
  5. Pressure on the abdomen caused by pregnancy
  6. Straining as a result of constipation
  7. Collection of fluid in the abdomen
  8. Heavy weight lifting
  9. Excess weight gain

If anyone in your family has a hernia, you are at a high risk of suffering from one as well. Being obese and smoking can also increase your risk. Cystic fibrosis can also indirectly trigger a hernia by causing a persistent cough. Sometimes a hernia has no symptoms. A bulge in the affected area is the most common symptom of a hernia. 

Some other symptoms that you may notice are:

  1. Pain in the affected area
  2. Weakness or pressure in the abdomen
  3. A burning or aching sensation in the affected area
  4. Acid reflux
  5. Chest pain
  6. Difficulty swallowing

what was the basis that doctor had told you" liver weak. Because there is no term as weak liver. Please give your liver function test results, based on which I may be able to guide. Plus indulgence in alcohol is harmful for liver.

Hi doctor, I am suffering sinus problem, so I use to rub my nose continuously with cloth, so my nose it turning into black colour. So please suggest me some creams to reduce blackness in my nose and also suggest me to cure cynus.

Apply aloevera gel over the blackness and apart from taking symptomatic treatment I will suggest you to buy a steam inhaler machine of crescent company and take a flow of steam (of plain water only) over the forehead through the inhaler and can repeat the process after eight hours as and when required.

When a person is dehydrated he is advised to drink a solution of sugar and salt in water but actually in case of dehydration only water n salt is lost from the body. Then why so?

In dehydration there is loss of body fluids, mostly water compared to what we take in through drinking. Normally water is lost from human body in the form of breathe that we take, sweat, urine, and stool. Along with water, salt (sweat) is also lost. Sometimes we do excessive exercise in hot weather that time we lose too much water, our bodies may become out of balance or dehydrated. In case of fever, diarrhoea, vomiting also we generally get dehydrated. Due to which you will start feeling weak, unhealthy, drowsie, stomachache and body pain. To overcome dehydration please care: Rest is required. This will feel you relax and mentally comfortable. 1. Intake of oral rehydration powders like punarjal, ORS, enerex, electrolyte etc by dissolving in water. These solutions contain water and salts in specific proportions which replenish your body fluids and electrolytes. Can have at frequent intervals, every one hour. This will remove all your dehydration. 2. Sometimes fresh fruit juices, coffee, coldrinks, etc may exaggerate the diarrhoea. Does not overcome dehydration. 3. You can have vegetable soups made by fresh green vegetables at home. In your case I would recommend you to have rehydrating solution every 30 to 60 min. Take some fresh juices or soup if it hamper your health then do not take because intake of fresh juice vary person to person. Good Luck. Stay Healthy.

dont search for unbleached sugar. Following are the tips to prevent onset/or control diabetes 1-Losing Extra Weight:-The most significant thing which can make a big difference to your health is to lose your extra weight. This will not only lower your blood pressure but also helps lowering your cholesterol too. For woman: waist of 80 cm or more & for man: waist of 90 cm or more are at risk 2- Constant and regular food timings :-the timings at which you have your meals should be set fixed and at regular intervals each day. This will considerably improve your metabolic activity and helps reducing your weight. 3- Split your meals and eating in moderate amount:-Splitting your meals into 3-4 times per day (including snacks)and eating in fair and consistent amount , improves your metabolic rate as the food u take is not concentrated at one time. 4- No long Gaps and skipping of meals:-There should be no long gaps between meals. Never miss out breakfast. 5- No overeating:-Never eat in a bulk on one time .Try to have moderate amount of food each time u eat. It will help maintain your blood sugar at a healthy level and won’t let it to fluctuate. Remember to eat your food slowly, chew well. 6- Proper Exercise and work outs:-Exercise is very important and a fast way to trim down calories, extra weight and controlling glucose level. Brisk walking for 30 min. atleast five times a week is the best and easiest way of exercising. You can also try Cycling, swimming, dancing. Timings for exercise should be fixed and regular. Rather choose a variety of foods including whole grains, fresh vegetables, salads, fruits, low fat dairy products. 9- Take high-fibre and complex carbohydrates:-like oats as they are easily broken down to basic sugars. Add whole grain foods in your diet. Avoid carbohydrates like white bread, pasta, pizza , candies, and snacks .Instead include high-fiber carbohydrates like wheat bran, flaxseed and methi seeds to your wheat flour. This will increase fibre in your diet. 10-Drink enough fluids:-Keep your body well hydrated. Drink a lot of water that will help flush the toxins off your system. 11.Fresh vegetables and fruits:- gives essential benefits as these contain a lot of vital minerals as well as nutrients .Include sprouts in the diet as they are easily digestible and a rich source of nutrients. 12- Avoid excess salt:-in form of pickles/papads etc. 1 tsp(5 gm)is sufficient for a healthy hypertensive individual. 13-Avoid alcohol consumption:-Alcohols such as beer and wine contains large amount of calories. choose sugar-free drink. 14- dairy products :-Dairy products are high on fat content such as cheese, curd, milk etc. So instead consume skimmed milk products , low fat cheese, yogurt (curd) etc. Do not have more than two cups of tea or coffee every day. Try green tea instead.
