Suggest me some medicine for grade one fatty liver, my age is 23. Also the prevention?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Suggest me some medicine for grade one fatty liver, my age is 23. Also the prevention?
Grade one fatty liver is commonly seen and no specific medicine is needed .There is no standardized treatment for fatty liver. Treating the underlying cause can easily reverse the abnormal changes in the liver, provided, it is early in the disease. Some common measures that improve fatty liver are: Exercise and weight loss programs: Obese patients have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or more. A realistic weight loss program should try reducing the BMI by two units of the existing one. Aerobic exercises are best suited to burn off fat. However, one should bear in mind that for long term success, it is not the intensity of the workout, but the sustenance that matters.Control cholesterol levels.: Besides regular workouts, a healthy approach to avoid consumption of saturated fats in diet can reverse fatty liver. Cholesterol lowering medications used in adjunct to exercise can reverse fatty liver.Control Diabetes: Effective management of sugar levels with life-style changes, medications and insulin can stop further advancement of fatty liver into something serious like cirrhosis or liver failure.Avoid harmful substances.: Certain drugs, alcohol, junk foods etc. are better avoided when once diagnosed with fatty liver. Talk to your doctor regarding medications that can cause fatty liver. Chances are he can suggest better alternatives.

Which season is best for gall bladder removal surgery? My mother has Stone of 25 mm. Please advise
hello mam. surgery of gall bladder does not depend on any season . other factors like symptoms/stone size/ age are more important. stone size is big . she requires surgery, get it done soon as complications and infection due to stone are more severe in older age group.

Hi. I have been facing some issues for last 3-4 year. Here is my medical history. 3-4 years back I have typhoid fever. Drs gave me medicine but I was still not well. I keep visiting Drs and they kept giving me medicines. After few months or a year, I started feeling sick all the time with fatigue. Dr. S without diagnosing started giving me other medicines and it worsen the problem. One of the Dr. S suggested me to go for endoscopy test. I did and found I had H-pylori +. He gave me 15 days kit for that. I took but I still did not have relief. I used to get sick if I did not have food on time or had a heavy food. Somehow I do not have that problem of being sick if I do not have food on time. But since last 1 + month I have huge weakness specially on all joints part, forehead shoulders. Did full body test. Everything is fine (Bilirubin total is 1.67. Drs say it is not a big issue. All Drs say I am fine and all reports are normal. But M not fine. I have lost 3.5 KG weight in last 6-8 months. I have good appetite, sleep and I eat a lot but I still lost weight. From last 6-8 months, it is stagnant after getting dropped by 3.5 kg. I did not go got RA factor test. My age is 30 and Drs suggested it is not required before 40 age. M so much worried. No Dr. is able to find what problem it can be. I feel so much week all the time specially on joints part. Sometimes there is mild/sensation type pain too and something wrong in my stomach/discomfort and from last 3-4 days I have constipation too. No nausea, vomit and such other symptoms.

Constipation is generally a lifestyle related disorder. 1. Eat healthy food. Avoid junk/ spicy/fried/oily foods. 2. Eat homemade food most of the time. 3. Include more fibre in your diet like salad, steamed vegetables, seasonal fruits, and complex carbs like Dalia, oats and whole wheat bread. 4. Eat frequent meals. 5. Eat all your meals on time. Do not give a long gap between your meals. 6. Take a light and early dinner. 7. Decrease tea/coffee/ milk products. 8. Drink plenty of water. 9. Keep yourself active. Exercise, do brisk walk, take a break between works, and stretch yourself in between. 10. Take Syrup Duphalac (Lactulose) 3 teaspoonful with warm water at bed time. ***Get Well Soon*** “Morning walk should be the most important part of your daily routine.”
