Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. Well, I would advise you to streamline your diet/ nutrition with focus on leafy greens and fresh fruits daily. Ensure a proper lifestyle with due room for relaxation and de-stressing. Exercise for at least 30 minutes regularly. Think positive, visualize success and stay focused. Yoga and meditation practice daily shall help develop focus and concentration. Plan your day realistically, and accomplish things accordingly. At the same time resist your compulsive urge, if any, to masturbate frequently. Should you require, you may as well consult a psychologist for the needful help here. Hope this helps. Go for a walk in the morning. Do regular exercise. Take lukewarm water with half spoon methidana powder. Loose your extra weight this will not only lower your blood pressure but also helps lowering your blood pressure and cholesterol too. No long gapes and skipping of meals. Never miss out breakfast. You should avoid fasting and feasting. Timely and balanced diet is as important as regular medicine intake to control diabetes. Complex carbohydrates and fibre should be included in diet.

Masturbation is very common and most people indulge in it at some stage or the other in their lives. With online content becoming the main research material, there are lots of myths about masturbation in both men and women. Read on to know some of the common myths and facts about this in males and females.

Myth vs. Fact #1: The common myth is that men who masturbate regularly will have erectile dysfunction. The reality is that the body gets used to certain types of touch, like your own hand or vibrations, and therefore achieving pleasure with a partner may require slight practice and time. It, however, does not cause erectile dysfunction per se. It is a common belief that people who masturbate are sexually exhausted and would not be able to perform when actually with a partner. This is not true, for as long as the person is stimulated and desires sex, they can indulge in it with no cap on the number of instances that a person can be involved in the act.

Myth vs. Fact #2: Indulging in masturbation is an abnormal part of sexual growth. Though most would not admit it, there are anonymous studies which reveal a large number of people (about 70% of the boys and 60% of the girls) in the age group of 15 to 18 indulge in masturbation. This indicates that it is a very normal part of growing up. Children should be educated that it is normal to touch and explore the genitals, but should know the limitations.

Myth vs. Fact #3: People in relationships do not masturbate. Whether single or in a relationship, people masturbate, and this does not mean they are unhappy in their relationships. Depending on the levels of sexual desire and stimulation, some would indulge in masturbation despite being in a healthy relationship with a partner. Some people could indulge in the act together, which also has benefits like avoiding pregnancy.

Myth vs. Fact #4: Masturbation has no good effects. Just as sex acts as a good stress buster, masturbation does too. The good health benefits of masturbation include better sleep, reduced levels of stress and tension, improved concentration, reduced headaches, increased self-esteem, and an overall happy being. In women, this also helps improve vaginal dryness, which is a major cause of painful vaginal sex.

Myth vs. Fact #5: Masturbation has emotional side effects. Over indulgence surely can affect work, school, or social life, but it is not true for everybody. If that is the case, the person requires counselling. avoid all high calorie food and drinks. take plenty of fruits,vegetables,coarse grains and nuts . only dietary restriction will not help much if not combined with exercise . simple 30 minutes brisk walk is good enough.

6 Symptoms Of Weak Pelvic Floor!

The perineum is the area between the vagina and the anus. This fragile area plays a significant role in the female reproductive system. This is often intentionally or accidentally torn open to allow for the normal delivery of the baby. This needs to be repaired meticulously to ensure that the pelvic floor is safeguarded from further damage.

The pelvic floor contains multiple muscles and supporting tissues which help in keeping the vagina, rectum, uterus and supporting structures in their places. When these muscles become weak due to childbirth, ageing, perineal injury etc, the uterus, bladder and rectum loosen up and prolapse down.The most common problem that is encountered is urine and fecal incontinence, where the woman has difficulty holding urine and feces. Though not often discussed openly given the private nature of the topic, many women suffer from a weak pelvic floor. Read on to know some of the common causes, symptoms, and management measures.

Causes:

  1. Chronic cough: The next time you cough for prolonged periods, notice how much pressure it puts on the pelvic area. This goes unnoticed, but chronic cough can weaken the pelvic floor muscles. It is not common for women to lose some urine during these long-drawn coughing spells.
  2. Chronic constipation: The pressure exerted during constipation weakens the pelvic floor, often leading to incontinence.
  3. Pregnancy and delivery: Most common cause of perineal injury, where the perineum is torn (accidentally or intentionally) to allow for easy passage of the baby. If it is not repaired meticulously, the pelvic floor is weakened.

Symptoms:

Urinary incontinence is the most common symptom that women present to doctors with. However, there are minor symptoms which a woman would experience prior to reaching this stage. Most often, these are ignored, and only brought to doctor’s notice when symptoms become quite severe. If left unattended, there could be more severe repercussions too.

1. A heavy feeling in the pelvic area, commonly referring to as a bearing down sensation, a feeling that the internal organs are going to pop out through the vagina

2. A small lump that can be felt and/or seen at the vaginal opening

3. Feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder and/or bowel

4. Constipation

5. Pain or bleeding from the vagina or the rectum

6. Recurrent pelvic and/or urinary tract infections

Management:

  1. Kegel exercises are often used to strengthen the pelvic floor. This is very effective if the problem is identified quite early.
  2. In more progressive cases, surgical repair is the most effective option. This not only corrects the prolapses but also helps boost confidence of the person, by correcting the incontinence problems and improving sexual experiences. If you wish to discuss on any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.

Hello , as your daughter is bitten by insect, rise in body temperature, redness and pain at the site of bite is body's normal response. Usually, insects bites are not that poisonous. She may develop swelling and pain at the site of bite which will be reduced after few days. To reduce fever, rub your daughter's body with wet towel/cloth every half an hour. As you have not mentioned the age of your daughter it is not possible for me to suggest any medication. You can always contact me privately on lybrate for any further query.

I have been facing problem reg acidity, gas and indigestion. I got my liver and kidney function done which were generally normal except for two points .My Conjugated bilirubin was 0.43 as against the prescribed range tii 0.20 and Alkaline phosphate which was also bit higher. I was prescribed zevit capsules. Anything else I can do to normalise things and improve my diet.

Are you on any regular medication? Acidity can be a side efdect. It can also be due to irregular meals or stress. It is very important to take meals on time. Make sure you don't skip any meals. Remaining empty stomach will only aggravate the problem. Take at least 7-8 glasses of water in a day. If the problem is from a long time, you should get an ultrasound done.

An improper diet and lifestyle causes aggravation of Vata (Ayurvedic humor representing Air) that travels through the channels of the head causing sleeplessness. Vata is aggravated by increased intake of tea and coffee, especially, before going to bed; long gaps between meals; and intake of cold and dry food, cabbage, lettuce, beans, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, rice, and smoked foods. Suppressed emotions, disturbed sleeping patterns, worries, anger, overwork, overexcitement, and ill health may be other responsible factors. 1.Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. 2. Add ½ tsp of cinnamon powder and 1 tsp of honey with 1 cup of warm milk. Drink before going to bed. 3. Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. 4. Take 1 teaspoon each of brahmi and ashwagandha powder in 2 cups of water, boil and reduce it to one cup and drink it daily in the morning . 5.If u go to bed in late hrs daily ur biological clock get disturbed. body needs an appropriate amount of sleep daily..so its fulfilling its need. If u go to bed early u will automatically wake up early after making a schedule and will feel more fresh. 6. Avoid use of gadgets after 9 pm. 7. Take dinner at 8 pm daily . 8.Do shavasna before sleep for 10 min. 9. Take light n oil free diet at night. 10. Donot skip breakfast. 11.Do exercise daily to keep urself fresh and active.

You can take precautions in your diet don't eat fried spicy or junk food stay away from excessive consumption of tea coffee and treated drinks and eat more healthy and nutrios food at fixed timings don't keep your stomach empty for more than four hrs and drink plenty of water in the day but if your problem is of a very long duration then it is better to consult a gastroentrologist and get thoroughly investigated for it.
