I am 60 and diabetic. I have a pain on the back at hip and my family physician opined that it is a neurological issue related to my diabetic condition and advised me to do exercises. Since last 1 month I go for regular brisk morning walk for about 45-50 minutes. But still there is not relief. Please advise.

Diabetes must be controlled & rule out vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore, lest it becomes starting point of a major problem.

Very less bleeding during periods this month I have not experienced this since I matured, I was miscarried 4 weeks pregnancy on may 8th and I got periods for April month that also not like my normal periods my gynecologist said that it is normal no problem at all and yesterday spotted still it is like spotting only not like my periods, what it causes am I again pregnant or am I facing any issue, kindly let me know.

They r self limiting hormonal changes happening after a miscarriage. Don't worry you will get back to normal eventually.

I have got my periods on 28th Jan I have not ovulated till now I have checked on ovulation kit no positive results can someone help?

Hello nikita, the day of ovulation varies from female to female and depends on the cycle duration. Also even if you are not on any medication, some times some cycle can be anovulatory. Anovulation means absence of ovulation in that particular cycle. If this has happened for first time or if it is rare, you can rest assured. But if this non ovulation is happening frequently, you will need medication.

I am 17 years old I had 6 doses of regestrone 5 mg tablets my dose finished on 13 n the doctor said I will get periods by 23 I had sexual intercourse on 15 mar will it effect my periods.

Hi on which day of your cycle you started regestrone. 10 days gap is unlikely. Since dates are not collaborating can't comment about your consequences of intercourse. I suggest do a pregnancy test. Regards.

6 months ago, I had prolapse surgery which failed. Scheduled for more surgery on May 10. Rinsed off surgical area (with showerhead that had black mold. I didn't see the mold on the shower head until after I bathed. Washed and rinses the vaginal area again.

If you have washed yourself properly with soap and water after that then it is ok unless you have any symptoms there is no need to worry as it was running water and the effect would have got over by now.

I have some soft mass grown on my left side of cheek where upper and lower gums contact each other having no pain or no other complications. On Monday dentist curved my teeth edges and small lining of mass is also removed but pain is still there and swelling is also there there kindly suggest what to do gone through blood test yesterday all are normal CBC, ESR.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight. * body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soup or salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Please note the following for your condition: • Avoid big meals late in the evening. You need three to four hours to digest a big meal. • Spicy or sugary food, even at suppertime, is usually a bad idea. Spices can irritate your stomach, and when it tosses and turns, so will you. Having a lot of sugary food—especially chocolate, which contains caffeine—can make you feel jumpy. • Try a soothing aromatic bath before bedtime. Add 5 drops lavender oil and 3 drops ylang-ylang oil to warm bathwater and enjoy a nice soak.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and do not take a pillow while sleeping and do neck exercise in consultation with a physiotherapist and take tablet folvite 5mg once a day for six months and vitamin d3 60000iu once a week for six months.
