Hi. A woman’s libido is the desire for sexual intercourse. Common causes of lack of sexual desire include exhaustion, poor self-esteem, or an unhappy relationship. A significant cause may be hormone imbalance from childbirth, chemical birth control or other hormonal changes. Stress, melancholy along with getting older are normal cause. Medication: Give her Avena Sativa Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water and Five Phos. - both thrice daily. Management: 1. Talk openly with your partner about her sexual urge or preferences 2. Daily exercise is helpful to increase sexual drive, ask her to do so 3. Try to keep your body free from obesity, ask to reduce weight (if she is over weight) 4. Ask her to take a balance diet filled with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit 5. Tell her to learn to relax and de-stress by meditating 6. Stop smoking (if she does so) 7. Alcohol has bad affects to sexual function and desire 8. Avoid illegal and powerful sexual drugs Regular exercising will keep her fit and healthy! So, here are few exercises for her: Practice pranayam regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning. Not to do these exercises within 4 hours after meals. One can have meals not within 15 minutes after finishing these exercises. These exercises are good for gaining and maintaining good health. Also, let her practice Pelvic floor exercise or Kegel exercise, consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor. In order to locate your pelvic muscles try to stop and begin the flow of urine as using the bathroom. You can perform Kegel exercises with the empty bladder as exercising pelvic muscle with the full bladder might result in urinary tract infections. Kegel exercises are employed to strengthen the pubococcygeal muscle and other muscles of the pelvic diaphragm. Kegels can help men achieve stronger erections, maintain healthy hips, and gain greater control over ejaculation. The objective of this may be similar to that of the exercise in women with weakened pelvic floor: to increase bladder and bowel control and sexual function. Foods which increases the sex drive: Chillies, peppers, avocados, bananas, chocolates, oysters, pomegranate, red wine, cherries, strawberries, walnuts, vanilla, watermelon, coffee and spicy food. (women are fond of chocolates, vanilla ice creams, cherries)

Dear lybrate-user, if she has conceived normally you can have sex, just take care not to put undue pressure on her abdomen. Lateral postures on later stages can be helpful.

I recently had my periods for five days and on the fifth day I took an I pill and my periods started once again and its the second week of my periods. Are these periods of mine after taking an I pill normal. Will I get pregnant. What is the reason of this. Is there anyway from which I can stop it for now because I am much in pain.

There is no specific food and you have to take all nutritious foods and feed the baby every 2 hours or so . Being calm helps bring out milk . From 4th months you have to give homemade semi solids also

My partner & I are virgin. We have been trying to have sex for quite sometime now but she is experiencing a lot of pain when my penis is trying to enter her vagina. We try when both of us are extremely relaxed & have used various lubricants (ky-jelly, durex tingle etc.) but the pain seems to be unbearable for her & we end up not having sex. We have decided to use a vaginal numbing gel & would appreciate it if you could suggest a cream or gel that numbs the vaginal opening for until my penis enters her vagina & has no side-effects whatsoever.

Tips to Beat Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) :

1.Learn how to eat

The first step to controlling IBS is eating properly. And not just what you eat, but when and how. Eat little and often and at regular times.

Your digestive system will then get into a good routine and eating smaller amounts will avoid bloating and diarrhoea.

Also eat slowly. Gulping food quickly can make you swallow air, which results in wind and bloating. Chew well and drink lots of water.

2 Change your pattern

Eat your biggest meals earlier in the day and have a light evening meal. Also have foods that are harder to digest like raw fruit and vegetables before 4pm.

3 Soothe yourself

Different herbs and supplements can ease the symptoms of IBS. Calcium supplements are thought to counteract diarrhoea as it slows down gut contractions.

Experts recommend linseed for constipation, while artichoke can help digestive complaints, especially after eating fatty foods.

Finally, taking 500mg of turmeric extract once a day can also help because of its anti-inflammatory properties.

4 Keep on moving

Regular exercise can r­educe bloating and constipation in IBS ­sufferers. Even 30 minutes of moderate exercise like brisk walking or yoga five times a week will help.

5 Peppermint oil

Taken in tea, oil, herb or capsule form, ­peppermint oil can help alleviate symptoms by relaxing the intestinal muscles.

Peppermint tea bags are readily available or just add a few drops of oil to half a glass of warm water.

6 Try different things

There are a number of complementary therapies that might ease ­symptoms, including reflexology, aromatherapy, massage, acupressure and yoga.

Find one that suits you.

7 Be prepared

Many sufferers dread going out for meals for fear the stress will trigger symptoms. But planning ahead is key.

First, find out where the loo is as soon as you arrive so you know you can get there easily if you need to.

Try to have a look at the menu before you go so you can carefully pick out the safest foods for you. Lots of ­restaurants have their menus online.

If you’re afraid of things going wrong, take some preventative medication before you go out.

Don’t overeat. ­Finally, relax as stress could risk an attack.

8 Black pepper

It might not seem that powerful, but black pepper can make a big difference.

Black pepper oil soothes cramps and relieves wind and also stimulates a sluggish digestive system.

9 Breathe slowly

Some people swallow air when they’re anxious, adding to the problem of wind and bloating.

Learn to control this by practising abdominal breathing.

Sit comfortably with your shoulders lowered and relaxed. Breathe in slowly through both nostrils and count to five, expanding your tummy.

Hold for five seconds and then exhale to a count of five, drawing your stomach in.

10 Sleep tight

Too little sleep or poor sleep has been shown to have a direct impact on the severity of IBS, so avoid caffeine later in the day.

Hi lybrate-user do regular exercise. Eat more frequently than before. Use refined foods extra. Use dense fruits, vegetables. Use whole cream milk. Take more fish, egg, meat etc. Use more healthy fats. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink plenty of water but not just before or during meals.

This means you have a 25 day cycle, according to the dates you give. Do you have delayed periods also or not. Did you get your cycle in january or still not. According to these dates your fertile period will be from 8th day (i. E. From 22 dec) till 18th day (i. E. Till 2 jan). But if you ahve delayed periods then get ovulation study done know your timing of ovulation.

Treatment for infertility is started 1 year of marriage with regular intercourse. To get pregnant you need to have regular sex i. E. 3-4 times a week for one full year before you start seeking medical help. Wait for another 1-2 months and try for spontaneous pregnancy. Once your one year is completed then only couple should start investigating both partners to find out the possible cause and treatment then follows.

Possibly you have a vaginal infection. I would advice use Cansoft-CL vaginal pessaries- insert one tablet every night in the vagina for the next 6 nights and see if it helps. Also you and your partner need to take a single course of AF-KIT4 to give you a more permanent solution. Also I would advice to use condoms during sex.

Hello, I suggest you should get a preconceptions counselling done and get a karyotyping followed chromosomal micro array test done to learn if any genetic defects are presents which are causing recurrent abortion of for that matter she has either acquired or inherited thrombophilia which shall need adequate and regular monitoring during pregnancy. Iodinate think the issue is regarding getting pregnant but rather to maintain it till term. Regards.
