Hello doctor,I am suffering from adenomyosis. Doctor has advised me for operation for the removal of uterus. So, I want to know that if I perform operation after 9 months then is there any problem? Or there are chances of any other problem. please help.

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Delaying operation for 9 months will not cause any problem ,but you will be suffering from pain (dysmenorrhea) and menorrhagia (increase bleeding) for 9 more months. You can go for mirena insertion for the time being.

First part of your question is irrelevant sperms are not in the bladder can't make out what you want to know and second part is there is no fixed duration specified between two intercourses it is individual's choice.

Hello sir or madam I want to ask uh related sex. One of my friend she did sex with his b. F now he left her. ND she is going to engaged with anther person is he come to know about his virginity? She is crying a lot tell me any solution pls which can hide her lost virginity. Wt she will do now? She just want to die she feels it's her big mistake how can I understand her tell me any solution?

LCPS, BAM&S
General Physician, Pune
Virginity is nothing but a septum in vagina which gets torn off after first sex. But the septum can get torn by exercise, sports, gymnastics etc. So loss of virginity doesnot mean anything. But to avoid guilt, it's better to share it with would be husband. It's for him to be mature and understand.

My wife is pregnant and we want to go for medical abortion so please suggest the medicine name and its usage.

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Medical abortion should only be undertaken after ultrasound has been done. Usg is done to confirm the duration of pregnancy, and to confirm that pregnancy is intrauterine. You should consult a gynaecologist ,she will do the needful.

Hi lybrate-user if it has been 6m and your sex frequency is at least 2 to 3 times in a week, get routine investigations like day 2 hormone levels and your semen analysis done. Though its completely normal for a couple to take around a year in getting pregnancy. Try to have a healthy lifestyle leave any kind of addiction try to have sex on fertile days that is day 10 to day 18 of your cycle.

Abortion - Do You Think It Is The Right Choice?

Abortion - Do You Think It Is The Right Choice?

Opting for an abortion can often be immensely emotionally exhausting on your part. The emotional stress, guilt and confusion might become over bearing. To make this decision something you don’t regret, equip yourself with all the knowledge and help available.

Here are 5 of the top tips before choosing to terminate the life growing inside you:

  1. Being certain about your pregnancy: It is critical to know that you are actually pregnant before proceeding with a surgical or medical abortion. Getting a test done from a reputed hospital is way more accurate than home tests which might not always be able to give you a correct reading. A sonogram is the best way to confirm your pregnancy.

  2. Get an accurate idea: 1 out of every 5 pregnancies results in a miscarriage. Thus, getting all the information possible from a doctor helps you make an informed choice. You should be aware of all the consequences. At the same time, get facts, such as whether the foetus has a heartbeat, right. An ultrasound helps in determining this as well as whether the foetus is located in the uterus.

  3. Know about your health: You should get yourself checked up thoroughly, primarily for any STD’s. Knowing whether or not you have an STD is important as abortion in a person with an STD increases the likelihood of complications and infection.

  4. Legality: In India, abortion is illegal, as one of the main reasons for doing so is sex selective abortion wherein, the male child is preferred over the female. Certain provisions however, allow the termination of a foetus. If the pregnancy is up to 20 weeks and the birth would result in serious mental trauma or health complications for either mother or the unborn child, then an abortion is permissible. A trained government professional will be able to answer all your questions in regard to your choice of terminating the foetus. Sex determination of the foetus is illegal in India.

  5. Get informed about the risks involved: Getting an abortion can be quite strenuous both physically and emotionally. It is a medical procedure that is irreversible in nature. There are multiple abortion options based on how far your pregnancy has progressed. Each of these procedures has side effects and medical risks involved. Often a counsellor or a psychologist is needed to provide support as women might become fragile or emotionally unstable after opting for an abortion. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Gynaecologist.

I am feeling weakness and I have RH factor my blood group is A negative ...
Weakness may be due to anaemia (HB 9) take iron supplements regularly ,take a balanced healthy diet .as your bld GRP is rh-ve your HB should be >12 gm% so that at time of delivery bld is not required. If you are having pain in vagina avoid intercourse.
