You should lead a healthy lifestyle and have balanced food, cereals, fruits lean meats in stead of red meat fish eggs avoid alcohol and spicy food. Go for morning walk followed by free uh hand exercises regularly. Do some yoga and pranayum like kapal bhatee etc have plenty of water by mouths.

Dear, these are some reasons for dark circles: * lack of sleep * stress * lack of nutrition * anaemia follow these instructions and methods to reduce dark circles: * eat green leafy vegetables and a bowl of cereal daily. Drink a glass of milk daily in night. Do not skip food eat on time. You can drink carrot juice daily or eat raw carrots. * take proper sleep 6 to 8 hrs daily. * drink 6 to 7 glass of water daily. * apply moisturizer around the eyes do massage slowly for 3 to 5 minutes daily. * do long breathing pranayams daily for 5 to 10 minutes.

Your body has plateaued. Hopefully the loss is not muscle loss. If you have tried weight loss by crashing intake without professional advice chances are you have lost on a lot of nutrients too. You need a professional intervention to break the plateau and replenish lost nutrient stores. Till then try the following - eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

Wheatgrass juice is one of the most effective remedies against hair fall. It is known to decrease the shedding tendency of hair within a few weeks of regular intake. Aloe vera juice has a similar effect. However, aloe gel can be applied to the scalp too. This is helpful for preventing hair loss due to irritated, dry or infected scalp. After massaging the head with aloe gel, wash the hair with lukewarm water. This can be done twice, every week.

My brother, he is 19 years old. Ever since he was 12/13 he has been angry and used to break things in the house. Over the years his anger worsened and he began to hit other family members when he got angry. he gets angry over the smallest things possible, and releases his anger by hitting or breaking something. After a while he becomes completely normal. Recently our mum had a traumatic accident where her finger got amputated. Despite being there with her when it happened, he seemed to have no feelings or empathy at all and didn’t even ask if she is okay, or help her with holding something. He seemed to show emotional blunting over it. His mood changes quickly, one minute his is happy and next minute he gets angry and that too over small things where he compares himself with people. If he goes to play cricket, he will get annoyed/irritated that he didn’t play cricket a lot and that he isn’t that good as someone else. One of the big issues is that he is unaware of the things going on around him. He will sleep with tv and light on, uses different towel every day, goes for shower for 2/3 hours. Seems like he is always having deep thoughts about something. Also he spends so much money uselessly and is overdrawn. Within 2/3 months he spent over £1000 when he does’t even need to spend that much at all.  Another thing is that he is easily influenced by people and tries to copy them. However, this is usually for bad habits such as thinking that his friend has had many girlfriends, yet he hasn’t, or thinking that spending too much money and going overdrawn is fine because other people do it as well. He does’t want to respect other members of the family and takes their care and advice for granted, even his own mums. When he goes out, he does’t say when he will come back, or if he does, he does’t come back on time, has no feelings that people at home will be worried. He lies to his family members easily without hesitating, about who he is going for night out with, or if he has bought something or where he is spending money on. You can never know whether he is lying or not as the way he says it sounds so convincing. Whilst at home, he does’t want to do anything productive, always eats and sits, even when he eats he does’t bother picking his own plate up, he can be that lazy. He wants to find a job, yet he does’t as he is lazy and wants to put no effort in at all. If he is in the lounge and is tired, he will sleep on the sofa but not on his bed as he is lazy. Whilst playing videogames and against people online, if he is losing, he can get ridiculously angry that he can break something, despite it being a game. Overall his behaviour is extremely aggressive and unpredictable. He can be happy and in a good mood, and all of sudden can get aggressive and break something. Deep thoughts and being easily influenced is also not helpful which is brainwashing his mind and leading him to the wrong path. Any help on how to improve his behaviour/treatment will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi I will prescribe some harmless but effective flower remedy available in homoeopathy shops. Try to buy original medicines. Mix 3 drops of cherry plum + 3 drops of vine + 3 drops of white chestnut + 3 drops of aspen + 3 drops of impatiens. Mix these with 100 ml water and drink it every night.

It is ideal for you to eat small quantities of nutritious food regularly to reduce your weight. It is ideal for you to include at least 30 to 45 minutes of exercise every day to see visible differences in weight. •Have a breakfast by 8: 30 am in the morning and limit it to 250 to 300 calories. •Have a handful of nuts as a mid morning snack at 10: 30 am •Have your lunch at 12.45 pm and make sure it is only a diet full of veggies and fruits. •At 2: 30 pm have your afternoon snack that could be carrot sticks or apple with low fat peanut butter? •At 6 pm have the last meal of the day that includes a cup of vegetables before the meal? Then drink water and follow it with a cup of rice and lean meat.

Mr. lybrate-user, Blood glucose levels mentioned point to being pre-diabetic state. This means one can develop diabetes any time if care is not taken. In such a situation avoiding sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods and pastries, bakery items and sweetened aerated drinks is necessary. One may be liking sweets but if heath has to be maintained then necessary precautions are a must. Right now there is no need for medicines. Only modified lifestyle and exercise are needed. Thanks.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and. Put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Causes and Symptoms of Dandruff

Dandruff is one of the most common chronic hair conditions. It is characterized by a white, flaky substance on the scalp. Dandruff is not a serious condition and neither is it contagious. However, people still want it gone so that their hair looks better. Here are the symptoms as well as the causes of dandruff.

Causes:

  1. Skin drying up: Dry skin is the most common cause of dandruff. The flakes from dry skin are usually less oily and smaller than with other forms of dandruff.
  2. Seborrhoeic dermatitis: Dandruff can also be caused by oily irritated skin. In this type of dandruff, red, greasy skin has flaky white or yellow scales covering it.
  3. Infrequent shampooing: This is also a very common cause of dandruff. This is because oil and skin cells accumulate, thus resulting in dandruff.
  4. Malassezia: Malassezia is a yeast like fungus. It is usually harmless and stays on the scalp of most adults. However, it is worth noting that sometimes the yeast may irritate the scalp and cause extra skin cells to grow. The skin cells then fall off and become flaky. 
  5. Contact dermatitis: Contact dermatitis is a sensitivity to health care products and when you use too much shampoo, hair styling products or other chemicals, such as paraphenylenediamine, the red, itchy, scaly scalp associated with dandruff is caused.
  6. Other skin conditions: There are many other skin conditions, which cause dandruff as well. These include eczema and psoriasis. Eczema is a chronic skin disease, which causes the skin to become inflamed. Psoriasis is another skin condition. It is characterized by thick scales forming resulting from rough, dry, dead skin cells which build up rapidly. 

These are just the causes of dandruff. Now you will see how to identify when you have dandruff by learning about the symptoms of dandruff.

Symptoms:

  1. The symptoms of dandruff are pretty easy to spot. All that happens is that you will see white, flaky, dead skin cells in your hair.
  2. It is sometimes accompanied by an itchy, scaly scalp. 
  3. There is also a type of dandruff called cradle cap, which occurs in newborns. Just like dandruff, it is not dangerous and goes away when the baby is 3 years old.
