When I wake up in morning my eyes was red and water is came out and it get me pain.

When I wake up in morning my eyes was red and water is came out and it get me pain.
Hello lybrate-user. Redness and watering of the eye is one of the most prevalent problems observed. Redness and watering of the eyes have multiple causes associated with them. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. It occurs with symptoms of pricking, itching, irritation, watering, foreign body sensation and discomfort. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. Thus, eye hygiene remains the principal modality of treatment along with eye drops as a supplement. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. There may occur associated pain and sensation of itching, pricking, watering and discomfort. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic because it would require immediate removal from the eye and appropriate therapy. (4) raised eye pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the covering layers of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. (6) increased blood pressure. This has known to cause redness which is also known as sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. The redness in this case tends to be deep dark and usually occurs only in one portion of the eye. In this regard, a complete ophthalmic evaluation and a systemic evaluation is warranted. (7) injury/ trauma to the eye in any form may cause redness of the eyes. This should be taken seriously and assessed in detail by an eye specialist in person. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. You could also use a lubricant eye drop along with an anti-histamine eye drop. (3-4 times daily) also, you might require a complete eye evaluation in order to rule out other causes. This would be possible only by examining your eyes in person. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care.

I'm currently under orthodontics treatment in my own college since last 5 months for slight overcrowding and twisted lateral incisors in mandibular arch. I noticed no effects of the treatment. Proximal stippling was done between premolars. I had no periodontal problems earlier. I maintain proper oral hygiene. Rectangular wire was placed 5 days ago. Today I noticed my gingiva to be edematous above the molar tubes in maxillary right quadrant. I do not wish to continue with the treatment since there are no visible effects on the tooth that was twisted. I had explained this to the concerned staff before rectangular wire was placed. They simply want to complete the case with or without prognosis and results. Is it necessary to complete the treatment? They are not willing to remove the braces without full payment. Is it possible for me to remove the braces in some other private clinic? I've noticed my teeth have become more sensitive since the treatment started. Please kindly.

Hi, your concern is valid. After proximal stripping, there are chances of sensitivity. As I do mot know your case history, I cannot comment if stripping was the only option for creating space between teeth. Stripping in between premolars is rather unheard of. Usually if required, that to with no other option, incisors are stripped. Initail 2-3 months is required for teeth to get used to the force. Tooth movement should be rather gradual or else it'll resorb the roots of your teeth. Bodily movement of the teeth would be noticeable after 7-8 months of the treatment. You can continue your treatment at a private clinic as well, but ensure that the orthodontist is well experienced and reputed and is good in talking to his patients. That'll build up your confidence in the doctor and the treatment as well. Have patience and good luck.

This is regarding my younger sister who has developed an abnormal insane behavior and becomes violent at times. She has developed an habit of picking up all old thoughts and creates her own story and picks up the quarrel with insider and outsiders and then goes on to racism, communial, differences and many acts. She also starts to talk to herself inside a room. She ends up with sleepless nights and again comes up with the same story. Basically her activities are like rewind and forward. This is been going on for 8 years. But on the other side she is very sensible and talks very reasonable and remembers everything from childhood. We r confused and worried about her activities which needs to be stopped once for all. Will really appreciate your help to help us.

I think that you have neglected the problem for eight years. It is time you took her to a counsellor and if that person recommends (Which I guess s/he will do), you must take her to the doctor too. This is certainly not normal behaviour and needs intervention. It is difficult to give you a definite diagnosis but in meeting with a counselor it is possible that they could give you one soon. Do not neglect this any further. In the meantime she could be put on a tight time-schedule and made to become functional with a few light responsibilities. she must go for regular exercise, even by force. Her behaviour indicates a lot of anger and fear. So she needs emotional training to handle her feelings normally. Please take her to a counselor immediately.

The symptoms are suggestive of neuropathy or involvement of the nerves. This can be due to diabetes. It has nothing to do with the knee problem or the surgery. She needs to meet a neurologist who will help her get rid of this distressing symptom

Pranav firstly let me make it clear that the length and size of your penis has very little effect on sex satisfaction in the female. You are fear is unnecessary. You need not worry. Every thing will go well. Please avoid taking any medicine for it. They are useless and may cause side effects on your sex life in future.

Your foot is made up of 26 bones, 33 joints, and more than 100 tendons. Foot pain has a number of causes that are typically associated with overuse of the bones. You can strain your foot by pounding it on hard surfaces, being overweight, or wearing shoes that do not fit properly. These strains can irritate the foot bones, muscles, or tendons.Rest as much as possible apply ice to the affected part for 10 to 15 minutes twice a day use over-the-counter pain medications.Wear shoes that fit properly wear night splints, a special device that stretches the foot while you sleep use heel cups or shoe inserts to reduce pain. Take an X-ray to determine the cause of your pain.

Skin Tags - Causes And Treatment

MBBS, D.V.D.L, Fellowship, DNB (Dermatology)

Skin Tags - Causes And Treatment

Skin tags, also known as acrochordons, are small brown or darker-than-skin tone growths on the surface of the skin. Tags are very common and harmless growths and tend to occur on the neck, under the breasts, armpits, eyelids and folds of the groin. They generally take place after midlife. About 25% of people report having skin tags after they cross the age of 50.

What causes skin tags to occur?
Skin tags are very common among diabetics and obese individuals. Pregnant women also develop skin tags, as a consequence of changes in the body's hormonal levels. Skin tags tend to occur when your skin rubs against clothing or skin. They are normally caused by blood vessels and collagen that gets trapped inside the thicker portions of the skin. For this reason, they are typically found in folds and creases of the skin. Sometimes, they reduce on their own if blood supply to the tissue has been disrupted due to them getting twisted.

What procedures are involved in their treatment?
Skin tags are generally removed for purely cosmetic reasons but when they do become troublesome, as in, they rub against jewelry, skin or clothing, doctors recommend their removal as the area can end up becoming irritated.

The following procedures are performed to remove these annoying growths on skin:
1. Excision - In this procedure the skin tag gets removed using a scalpel.
2. Ligation - The procedure involves the cutting off of blood supply to the skin tag.
3. Cauterization - The procedure involves the burning off the skin tag using electrolysis (process that involves decomposition of a matter by electric current)
4. Cryosurgery - In this procedure, the skin tag is frozen before removing it. An instrument containing liquid nitrogen is used to do the removal. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dermatologist.

Dear Lybrate user. Don't be panic. Blood in semen or urine is a routine affair and could be due to many factors. Non veg is never a factor and therefore don't relate those. Just see whether it is repeating present or not. If repeating, consult a doctor in person. It can be easily treated. Take care.

You need to go for ovulation induction along with follicular monitoring to ensure ovulation for planned sex to enhance chances of conception. Meanwhile your husband's semen analysis should be done to rule out male factor. Try 3-4 months as I said if semen report is normal as your pco does not seems to effect your menses so there is high chances for you to conceive. Relax n try you will conceive don't worry.

This is not possible within a week but you can try this method:- the most essential mineral is calcium, so milk products, green vegetables, nuts are good sources. Replace carbohydrates with complete proteins like fish, egg, milk and legumes. These contain the best distribution of amino acids designed for growth hormones. Eat vitamin rich food like vegetables, fruits, almonds, peanuts, animal liver; and mineral rich food such as seafood, milk and dairy products. There are some foods that act as calcium inhibitors and will have adverse effects on your growth. They are carbonated drinks, excessive salt, fat, sugar and coffee. Illegal drugs and excessive smoking will also stunt your growth and should be shunned during adolescence and even later.
