Hi lybrate-user, gyming and exercise are good ways to gain weight. Glad you have opted out for a healthy way. Eat a banana before your exercises and a high protein diet or a protein shake after exercises. This regime will help you a long way. All the best.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss.

Your sleep patterns are not healthy for you. Addiction to social media is also a debilitating condition. But your desire to dominate other people is what is called the power struggle: in every situation of two or more people power struggles will go on and that it not harmful unless you take it too far. This world is a 'dog-eat-dog world' and there is a lot of competition and we must be prepared for the worst. So if you want to dominate others do it by equipping yourself well. Here are several things you can do to further that goal: study well, speak well, be physically and emotionally fit, dress well, become well-groomed, be presentable, have good habits, conduct yourself well; do a personality development course, attend good conversational skills course, join the Toastmasters Club, do a personal grooming course, practise elocution etc. You must eat well, sleep well, and do regular exercise. These may all appear unnatural to you but these are things that everybody wants to and wishes to do to get on in life. Absolutely not harm in it at all.

This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos you will need other supportive medicines also. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated. Do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

As a pulmonologist, I see patients with breathing problems on a daily basis. Too often do I hear patients express regret about not quitting smoking earlier. The truth of the matter is that it is never too late! quitting smoking is more important than any medicine a doctor can prescribe in preventing long term health problems. So I encourage all my patients who smoke to try every day to cut back and eventually quit smoking.

Patient who smoke need to be ready to quit smoking. If you are not ready to quit smoking, you should think spend a minute every day thinking about the reason why quitting smoking is a good idea. Once you are ready, you should talk to your doctor about ways to help you quit. Even if you don’t ask, your doctor may ask about ways to help you quit smoking. Just talking about how to quit smoking is more important that a prescription pad, and there is no quick fix to quitting. Although there are medicines than can help people quit, making a plan is the critical first step.

Nicotine is a powerful drug, more addictive than any drug that can be bought illegally. The nicotine found in cigarettes takes between 7-10 seconds to reach the brain. The thousands of other chemicals in cigarettes are just along for the ride, and they are more toxic than anything you can imagine putting in your body. Most people remember their first cigarette, which was probably bad experience. But the nicotine keeps people coming back for more, even though the adverse effects are obvious to even a first time smoker.

Once you are ready to quit, remember a few things:

  1. Set a date. The first of the month, someone’s birthday, or the day after a particularly stressful week. Try your best to stick to that date.
  2. Get rid of all the matches, lighters, ashtrays, and that last cigarette you have around.
  3. Tell your family and friends you are going to give it a shot. Get their support!
  4. If you slip, don’t worry, there is always tomorrow. Give it another chance!

Finally, using a medicine that replaces the nicotine, like the nicoderm patch, nicotine gum, or nicotine lozenges, replaces the only thing in the cigarettes that your brain is addicted to. Once you have gotten over those urges, the chances of giving the cigarettes up for good increases 3-fold! using another medicine, like chantix or buproprion, can increase the chances of quitting even more, just ask your doctor.

Hello Doctor. I have my graduation day in 3 weeks and my acne marks have been reducing but its taking too long. My dermatoligist gave me ointments many ointments for my dry skin and acne. He told me that first the acne should go and then the marks. He also gave me an acne marks cream. But I have no acne on my face , I just have acne marks. What do I do? Will exercising or eating certain fruits reduce the marks? I dont want any ointments. So can you please help doctor?

Hello. Acne marks lighten gradually. To hasten the lightening, a dermatologist may advise you in clinic procedures like peels or microdermabrasion. Having fruits and regular exercise will help you in the long run but would not reduce marks in a short time.

As per you symptoms narration I would gess is your can have migraine headache, which aggrivates with loud voice and music and also by light and also causes one sided headache associated with nauseating, and vomiting. Here are some home remedies to cure acidity.  - Skip the aerated drinks as well as the caffeine. Opt for herbal tea instead.  - Have a glass of lukewarm water everyday.  - Include banana, watermelon and cucumber in your daily diet. Watermelon juice is great for curing acidity.  - Nariyal paani is known to soothe the system if you suffer from acidity.  - Drink a glass of milk - everyday.  - Have your last meal at least two to three hours before you hit the sack.  - Keeping long intervals between meals is another cause for acidity. Have small but regular meals.  - Try to avoid pickles, spicy chutneys, vinegar, etc.  - Boil some mint leaves in water and have a glass of this after meals.

To increase digestion power you can follow these methods : • Take one teaspoon of ajwain seeds ( carom )and 1/2 teaspoon of jeera grind it and make powder of it add 1/3 rd of teaspoon of this in your food you eat . • Take pudina ( mint) and coriander leaves grind it and eat one teaspoon of it daily 2 times in a day . You can make chutney of it . Mint and corriander has enzymes that increase your digestion . • Eat one fruit before one hour of taking meal . Eat an apple daily . • Do running and jogging exercise daily . Hi Make a powdered preparation of dried ginger root, long pepper, black pepper, and black salt in equal quantities. Have 1 teaspoon of this mixture at bedtime with lukewarm water and 2 to 3 teaspoons of psyllium husk. Take pranacharya virechan churna or triphala churna 1 tsf in warm water before sleep at night. Take chitrakadi vati 1- tab after lunch and dinner. Take 5-7 munakkas with milk. Eat papaya in fruits .avoid tea. Coffee.spicy food. Fermented food. Junk food. Avoid alcohol consumption.

Moles on face and body can have various reasons. If they have come suddenly, it might be a threat, consult a doctor. If you always had moles, there are ways to remove them. It depends on the type of moles. Raised moles and flat moles. Raised moles are easier to remove, by laser or by cream. But deep flat moles need laser sittings to be removed and cost high.

hi,do regular exercise. take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning and. eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, sprouts, milk and milk products, combination of cereals and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast. no drink before meals. take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals. you can consult me privately online on lybrate for any advice.

I am suffering from blocked nose since 4-5 months. In the night it becomes worst cant breath I am using nasal drops since 3-4days. Whichis giving me temporary relieaf.
