Your weight for the height is high, you should focus on reducing your weight. Start with walking and exercising, that will help increase the hdl which is the good cholesterol, and it will also help reduce ldl which is bad cholesterol that results into blockage of arteries. Get your blood pressure and sugar checked regularly. You might need some medicines in order to keep the sugar and bp in check.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition due to to tuberculosis. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight and take in good nutrients. Eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals.Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits like banana, pomegranate. Be mindful of excess sugar and fat. If sweets are taken, they should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and peanut chikki are good choices. A supplement might be needed, but remember supplements will effect only if diet is better. So, start with improving your diet.

Exercise stress test (also called treadmill test) is an important investigation not only in patients with suspected cad but also in established cad. In the former group, it helps us to exclude cad in patients with chest pain and in the later group, it helps us to assess functional capacity, risk stratification and to detect any additional (new or residual) ischemia. Stress test being a physiological test, has a huge advantage of assessing the adequacy of myocardial blood flow without even knowing the coronary anatomy, while coronary angiogram (cag) has a zero physiological value* in spite of excellent assessment of the coronary anatomy! it is an irony, in the assessment of angina we are expected to assess the physiological adequacy of myocardial blood flow, we have kept coronary angiogram as a gold standard over and above the much neglected physiological stress test. Of course, the limitation of stress test is that, it has only 75% specificity (to rule out cad) and about 80% sensitivity (to detect cad. In simple terms stress test is likely to miss 20% times to miss a cad in patients with cad and 25% of times falsely diagnose cad in patients without cad. In the above statistics, coronary angiogram was considered gold standard. The problem with this data is that, cag is not the real gold standard, but it was nominated as a gold standard. We now know normal coronary angiogram is not equivalent to normal coronary arteries and vice versa. While both test have limitations, it is logical to believe cag has an edge over stress test since it visualises the anatomy. But, once an obstruction is demonstrated by cag, stress test scores over in assessing the physiological impact of the lesion.

Please don't use antibiotic without consulting doctor, it increases the risk of resistance for the antibiotic. This decrease the effectiveness of antibiotics over a period of time. Take steam with karvol plus and saline gargle twice daily please consult for antibiotic.

I am 62 years old. I have a question. Although I enjoy sex and can have regular sex, I find that there is mild depression after sex act which affects my cheerfulness for long hours after the act. That's why I avoid sex. Of course my wife is also not demanding. Even in games like football or exercise there is great exertion, but we don't feel depressed, rather we get fresh after a game. The difference between football and sex is of the social coloring of sex. While both are plain pleasure movements. Guilt is linked with the latter. Especially when you age, the social conditioning at the back of your mind tells to forbid it and indulge in religious pursuits. Get rid of the conditioning and the conflict will end. Cheers.

Hello, I am giving you general health advises for proper digestion: 1.Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 2.Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 3. Moderate physical activity regularly 4.avoid excessive tea, coffee 5. Do Not postpone Breakfast 6.Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food 7.Take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly consult physician for further management

If I were your treating doctor I suggest one tablet of tetrafol plus after meal twice daily for two months and one tablet tentex forte daily at night with a cup of milk for 4 weeks. There are some natural lifestyle measures which help to improve blood flow to penis and overall sexual performance. - The most important factor is healthy heart. Blood is pumped in to body by heart. So regular exercise and avoidance of fatty fast food are important measures to prevent heart disease. Regular walking, swimming or running overall improves blood flow to whole body circulation including penis and keep the mind fresh. - Good healthy food is also an important aspect. Bananas, Garlic, dry fruits (they contains vitamins), eggs, cow milk, cow butter are good food which may help in erectile dysfunction. - Avoid smoking and alcohol. Follow these best tips to get relief from stomach pain - *take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening. * take 1 tea spoon of liv-52 syrup daily one time. * walk for atleast 15-20 minutes daily and avoid long duration continuos sitting. * avoid taking nonveg at night & in day time after taking food, do not sleep in day.
