Get your refraction done and wear spectacles eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These r few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which wd increases your eyesight.

For computer use: You have something called as computer vision syndrome. So take frequent breaks while you are working Every 20-25 mins take break to look away from screen Blink more frequently' Level of screen should be below the level of eyes Ac should not blow directly on your face. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle power For mobile use: Here are seven super quick and easy ways to give your eyes a break during your all those smartphone marathon sessions. 1. Blink, blink and blink again. Blinking often (and for more than a second) keeps your eyes moist and reduces dryness and irritation. We tend blink about a third less than we normally would when we stare at our smartphone screens, which starves our poor peepers of protective tears. Keep your eyes wet by blinking about 10 times every 20 minutes or so and you should be good to go. 2. Minimize glare. Unless you have a smartphone equipped with anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass or use a matte screen protector film, you’re probably coping with a fair amount of annoying reflective glare. 3. Take breaks. Follow 20-20-20 rule. The concept is to take a break from looking at your screen every 20 minutes for 20 seconds while looking at something 20 feet away. Doing so relaxes your eye muscles 4. Adjust your brightness. Having your screen too bright or too dark stresses your eyes out and can cause problems maintaining focus. To eliminate either issue in about a matter of seconds, simply go into your smartphone settings and adjust your screen brightness so it’s about the same as the light level in the environment around you 5. Tweak your text size and contrast. Adjusting your smartphone text contrast and size also provides a little much-needed relief. 6. Keep a clean screen. Routinely wipe down your smartphone screen with a dry (not wet!) cleaning cloth to remove distracting dust, grime, smudges and fingerprints. 7. Hold your smartphone farther away. Try holding yours at least 16 to 18 inches away from your eyes to give your eyes a break.

Types, Causes and Symptoms of Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a disease that damages your eye's optic nerve. It usually happens when fluid builds up in the front part of your eye. That extra fluid increases the pressure in your eye, damaging the optic nerve.Glaucoma is the second largest cause of eye blindness in the world.

There are several types of Glaucoma:

  1. Open-angle Glaucoma
  2. Normal-tension Glaucoma
  3. Angle-closure Glaucoma
  4. Congenital Glaucoma
  5. Secondary Glaucoma
  6. Glaucoma suspect

How will you know that you are suffering from Glaucoma?

Only half the people with glaucoma are aware that they are suffering from this condition. When Glaucoma develops, there are usually no early symptoms. This is why glaucoma can 'steal' sight gradually.

Symptoms:

  1. In its early stages, open-angle Glaucoma has no obvious symptoms. As the disease progresses more blind spots develop in the peripheral (side) view.
  2. An attack of angle-closure Glaucoma includes the following:
  • Severe pain in the eye or forehead
  • Redness of the eye
  • Decreased vision or blurred vision
  • Vision rainbows or halos
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting

If you get any of the symptoms rush to your doctor and take an eye exam as soon as possible.

Causes:

  1. Eye injury
  2. Inflammation of the eye
  3. Dilating eye drops
  4. Blocked or restricted drainage in your eye
  5. Use of steroid-containing medications (pills, eye drops, sprays)
  6. Poor or reduced blood flow to your optic nerve
  7. High or elevated blood pressure

Who is at Risk for Glaucoma?
People with more risk of developing Glaucoma include people who:

  1. Are over age 40
  2. Have family members with glaucoma
  3. Have high eye pressure
  4. Are farsighted or nearsighted
  5. Have had an eye injury
  6. Have diabetes, migraines, high blood pressure, poor blood circulation or other health problems affecting the whole body.

Hello this is due to dryness. Your medicine is good. 1. Increase the frequency of medication 2. Blink a lot 3. Cold compresses 4. Use goggles in sunlight.

First of all if you have refraction than you should wear glasses. And where as the question of burning sensation it depends on various aspects like infection, your working environment as well as sensitivity of your eyes and so many. So I can not assure you the perfect reason but it can be from one of those. For that you visit a near by doctor and get full eye checkup.

Normally the number gets stabilised by 18 yrs of age. After 18 yrs if number is stable, depending upon your corneal thickness you can undergo laser eye surgery if thickness is good. Or icl which is implantable collamer lenses. Presently you can use soft contact lenses, with strict aseptic precautions.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and Eat nutritious food and have adequate fluid intake and take physical rest and for farts -- Avoid spicy food in your diet and Also avoid peanuts and potatoes in your diet

Hi, I would suggest you get your vision tested and if there is any power problem you have to wear glass. At your age near vision like reading may b bit straining. So visit an eye specialist who will guide you about it. Later may be you can also consult a physician to rule out any other cause for headache.

Hello, Take Belladonna 30, 3 drops, thrice daily. Use Schwabe's cmd2, eye drop. instill 2 drops in each eye twice daily. Wash your eyes with cold water twice daily. Revert me after 1 week.

My eyes color is yellow that i don't like at all. I was caught bye jaundice when i was at the age of 12 now i am 29 ...i don't have any lack of any kind of vitamins ..nor i have problem in my blood ...i am quite fit person don't have any kind of disease.. i was about to go to the eye specialist but i saw some articles on the internet that said it is having problem in liver ...plz tell me what should i do ... i want to change colors of my eyes :(

It's not eye related problem. You need to get examined by medical physician for this problem. The white part becomes yellow due to excessive bile bile production or insufficient excretion of it causing it to accumulate in body parts as in eye.

Allergies are known to come again and again. As mentioned by you pataday eye drops you can continue for threemonths. But not flarex. Flarex is only to be used under supervision of eye care specialist.

1. Sleep well and regular. Irregular sleep can have some serious consequences. It affects both our physical health and also contributes to anxiety and stress. Anxiety as such also leads to disruptions in sleep. When feeling anxious, always try to get a full 7 to 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep and it can work wonders to improve your condition. 2. Always keep smiling. Take a quick break in between your hectic work to get some laughs with your friends. Laughter can reduce depression and anxiety and has proven benefits. 3. Tidy up your living space or workspace. Keep your things clean and clutter-free. That helps us think clear and thus reducing levels of anxiety. 4. Say thank you often. Expressing your thanks for something helps reduce anxiety. 5. Eat smart. Eating more of foods which are rich in vitamin b and omega-3 fatty acids and also healthy whole grain carbs. Vitamin b contributes to good mental health. While omega 3 fatty acids help with both depression and anxiety. Whole grain foods boost serotonin and helps us remain poised. Eating high-sugar content food and processed foods can increase levels of anxiety. 6. Learn to breathe well and relax. Short, shallow breaths arise when you are tensed. So consciously breathing deeply, plus increasing the duration and depth of breathing helps relax the body and mind to a great extent. 7. Meditate. Meditation has so many positive effects on stress, mood, and anxiety. Club meditation with positive thinking to improve your general well-being and overall health. Yoga is also very effective to take off stress from the body and mind by deep relaxation and breathing techniques. 8. Chill and be silent. Reduce the noise and clutter talk that contributes to anxiety. Find time for yourself and be alone to muse upon your own matters without anyone disturbing you. 9. Worry. Yes, we can cause ourselves to freak out, but only for a certain amount of time. When something weighs heavily on your mind, or you believe something terrible is most definitely going to occur, commit to only creating that worry for 20 minutes. Think of all the possible outcomes of the scenario, figure out some game plans, and then quit thinking about it after 20 minutes go by. Have a friend call after the allotted time has passed to avoid the temptation of going over the time limit. Or schedule some of that playtime right afterward. 10. Plan for the future but do not worry about it. Make time tables and to-do lists so that you will not be worried about finishing stuff and so that you can increase your productivity. 11. Be positive. When you feel anxious, train your mind to think and feel positive and give reinforcement to yourself that you can handle any situation. This will significantly reduce your stress and anxiety symptoms. 12. Smell relaxing stuff. Go out to your garden. Smell a fresh rose. Take a deep breathe and allow the relaxation to course through your whole body. You can also use relaxing aroma therapy and use it indoors. 13. Go out and spend time with your friends and family. Spend time with your pets social support reduces anxiety and stress to such a great extent that it is almost always bearable. So next time you get on your nerves, go out with your friends, chat with them, watch a movie, spend some time watching the waves in the beach with your partner, talk to your siblings. If you have tried all these and still have problems, please consult me for prescription medication.
