Dear lybrate-user I think you have injured your acl. If you are not a sports person than with quadriceps exercise you can strength your knee and can do away with operation. Keep cycling for 30-45 min a day to keep fit.

Other sources of calcium are ragi (nachni, leafy vegetables and sesame seeds. Besides food 30-40 minutes of physical activity also contributes towards improving your bone health. Considering your age following a balanced diet with fruits, vegetables, pulses and dals along with all foods discussed above should help. Back ache can be due to several reasons. It can be muscular, related to disc degeneration or prolapse, joint irritation or nerve pinching. Most common is muscle pain due to tight and weak back and abdominal muscles. Keep a positive attitude, focus more on keeping good posture especially when sitting for long hours, use lumbar support. Take frequent breaks and stretch in between. Try changing sleeping habits. Try hot or cold therapy as tolerated. Wish you speedy recovery.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # change sleeping position. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same, you need specific treatment plan according to your symptoms. To discuss your backpain in detail reply in private consultation.

Reason must be the prolonged sitting. Avoid long duration sitting, get up from your chair after every 30mins. Do gentle stretching of your back, mainly bend behind. Start doing basic core strengthening exercises. Avoid sedentary life style and weight gain.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief see a physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.
