First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Better to do potli massage from panchkarma center. Triphla powder 1tsp at bed time with lukewarm water Yograj guggul 1-1 Maharasnasaptak kwath 15-15 ml with equal quantity of water.

I have severe lower back pain. I am a cricket player. Keeper come batter. I cnt sleep in any position I get back pain my back is not relaxed in any of the body postures. I can not stand or sit for a longer time. I keep getting this pain every now and then. And it is very severe. I have done physiotherapy for 30 days twice. I was feeling relaxed after that for some days later again the pain started.

• Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily • . Avoid bending in front. • Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. • Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

I am a 30 year old male 6 ft tall and 93kg. For the past 2 years both my knees upper portion gets swollen if I play sports like cricket, tennis etc and that goes away with couple of weeks rest and ice packs. Also in general nowadays I have pain when I do squats. Please advise.

I think your knees are developing early onset osteoarthritis or jogger's knee. Get an mri of both knees to know the degree of damage and consult an orthopaedician.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you don't get relief see a physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

I am 30 years old married lady. My legs (from feet to hip) pain everyday by the time I reach bed. I rarely wear high heels. My job is not a standing job. Also, I dance 3-4 times in a week to include exercise. Pls help in sharing the possible reason for it and what should I do.

You at your age are not advised to keep your legs folded and sit on floor, please use a chair to sit as sitting on floor leads to wear of knee cartilage and it can cause osteoarthritis. Meri age 36 hai mujhe 10 years se lower back pain hai ab pata chala vitamin d ka level 9 hai MRI hua tha (early spondyloticchanges of lumber spine ,diffuse disc bulge at L4-L5 level indenting ventral thecal sac and encroching into bilateral neural foramina however no myelopathy seen )nikla hai pr Dr. ne kaha ye kuch nhi hai ar vitamin d k liye medicine de diya lekin mera lower back pain ja hi nhi raha mai daily bhi krti hu lower back pain bahut badh jata hai uthna baithna bhi mushkil ho jata hai suggest me mujhe kya krna chahiye jb mainre Dr. ko dikhaya to rest k baad gyi thi to Dr. ne jhukne kaha to mai bend huyi lekin mai daily work k baad jhuk nhi pati hu bina support k baith nhi sakti ar left leg ka vain bhi khichata hai.

Low Back Pain due to Diffuse disc bulge ki wajah se 10 years tak back pain hone k chances kum hai, Uske wajah se ya Uske elaawah kuch wajah hote Hain Jaise Myofascial trigger points, Biomechanical Misalignment of spine at neck ,pelvis etc can give pain. Calf muscle Tightness ki wajah se bhi low back pain hota hai, Weak Low back muscles ki wajah se bhi. Proper examination ki zarurat hai. Vitamin D3 level agar 9 Ng/ml hai toh ye bahot hi kum hai, minimum above anywhere between 40 Ng/ml to 80 Ng/ml rehna chahye for optimal body functions. Vitamin D3 ko improve karne k liye Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) aur Magnesium Citrate ki istimaal bahot zaruri hai, tabhi Vit D3 Ka Proper absorption hota hai. Vitamin D3 k elaawah Magnesium aur Vit k equally important hai for bone and nerve Health. Magnesium is MORE important than Calcium. My Father has Diabetic foot, left side. And is severely swelled up form past 2 years. Swelling is on toes and right beneath toes therefore he is not able to walk properly. MRI and Colour Doppler shows nothing. What is your opinion. Doc.?

You will have to see if there is any bone involvement (charcot's foot). He will need customized footwear to prevent development of wounds or ulcers on the pressure points. Please keep checking feet everyday to ensure immediate treatment incase of any infection.
