My teeth are sensitive and whenever I drink cold or hot things, my teeth starts to pain.

BDS
Dentist, Bangalore
My teeth are sensitive and whenever I drink cold or hot things, my teeth starts to pain.
Teeth sensitivity is a result of loss of outer most layer (enamel) of teeth. That can be due to: - tooth grinding - acidic beverages (such as soda) that cause enamel erosion and dentin exposure. - brushing with a very abrasive toothpaste, brushing incorrectly and/or brushing more than three times a day could result in a loss of enamel. - a chipped or fractured tooth may expose the dentin. Here are few steps to avoid sensitivity of teeth: - practice good oral hygiene. - use a sensitivity toothpaste like sensodyne. - don't brush too hard. - use a softer toothbrush. - take care while consuming acidic foods. - use fluoridated dental products. - avoid grinding your teeth. - see your dentist regularly for professional tooth cleaning, dental care recommendations and advice on treating your sensitive teeth.

There is no problem in going for braces it is a simple and a routine procedure There is movement of your teeth whilr the treatment is done so you feel mobile teeth and a slight pain after you change the wire for just 2 to 3 days

Hi Dr, I am 42 years old male. I brush twice a day and clean my tongue using the brush but what I am experiencing for years is that even after cleaning the tongue some white and yellow sediments remain in the tongue and this has been a issue for years, so I want to know how to clean the tongue without having any sediments in the tongue.

My wisdom tooth is paining, after taking pain killers it's a bit fine. What do I do.

BDS
Dentist, Chandigarh
The wisdom teeth rarely erupt straight. They have gum tissue above them which gets swelled up if some food gets struck and as tooth is far behind brush can't reach there. This can lead to cavity in partially erupted tooth. So without examining it is difficult to pin point the cause. Any pain killer will relieve the pain but the reason of pain needs to be found and treated.

I feel constant pain in my cheekbones, teeth, forehead. The pain usually gets stronger when I lean forward and I feel too much pressure on my face and forehead. I am also coughing up too much phelgam. I feel fullness in my ears also. Today when draining the mucus from the nose, it was reddish. Looks like some blood but very little. Mostly the pain is in my forehead. I am taking LCZ plus 2 times a day along with otrivin spray recommended by a doctor. The phelgam increased after taking the medicine. I find temporary relief but I need permanent solution.

You may be suffering from Rhinitis or Sinusitis where there is inflammation of the sinus cavity. You can take Ginger tea (without milk and sugar) to help with pain and inflammation at sinus (cheek, forehead)Take Apple Cider Vinegar three teaspoon mixed with lukewarm water empty stomach daily at morning in one full glass of lukewarm water. Do Cervical Retraction Exercise, fullness of ear can also be due to C2-3 cervical Derangement as per McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT ). Going for Paranasal Sinus (PNS Skull XRay) will help to look for any nasal deviation which may cause clogging of the nasal passage and sinus inflammation. Consult a Clinical Nutritionist for diet therapy which will help you get rid of your problem permanently. Consult a Nutritionally informed Physiotherapist for neck and sinus release which will help you for face heaviness and pain and all. Good luck! Thanks.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Flap surgery. Manual around 15000 to 18000. And laser around 22000 to 25000. Prefer laser as it is painless bloodless.

This is to high light that if a patient is treated well and the patient takes good care and maintains teeth well, the dental surgeon's work can last 15 years and still go strong.
This lady has had no problems even 15 years after treatment and her teeth still look wonderful and most natural adding to her smile aesthetics, persona and beauty.
Have a good day.
