Take tablet it is recommended that norethisterone 5 mg tablets should be taken to delay your period for a maximum of 17 days. It is perfectly safe to delay your period for this amount of time. hi lybrate user, PCOD is not disease ,you need to modify your lifestyle. Have healthy food, balance diet, low carbohydrates, high protein, avoid oily spicy foods. exercise daily for 40min. This will help you to regularise period, avoid complications such as diabetes, hypertension in future. PCOD is not curable but treatable. Above factors will ease your life. Don't worry about PCOD.

You can conceive if your ovulation time is not fixed which is apparent from your periodstime then it may take longer because pregnancy happens when follicle ruptures and get fertilised within 48 hours so keep a record of your period cycles and get engaged in sexual intercourse more frequently around those dates.

Some women do have congestion and some drops of water during few days before cycle due to congestion and tension. Get a slide test of drop done. If worried about inside picture, get ultrasound of breast done to rule out underlying swellings. It costs less than 1000/- one thousand only and test is as sensitive as a mammography test which carries radiation risk.

One of the common reason is the pressure caused by the baby against your muscles and pelvic bones. You cud also have vaginal/vulval vericosities if there is swelling also. Get urself examined by a nearby gynecologist. If nothing is there then nothing to worry. Take more of rest on left side.

Hello sir/madam. What is difference between regular and irregular periods? How can I know that I have regular or irregular periods?

Certificate Course in Fitness Management

Hello sir/madam.
What is difference between regular and irregular periods? How can I know that I have regular or irre...
Hello, Irregular period is usually defined as any type of bleeding that's abnormal when compared to your last few menstrual cycles. It can include everything from a late period to early bleeding, and scant bleeding to extremely heaving bleeding. For many women, this can even mean an absent period (amenorrhea) or two periods in one month (metrorrhagia). It's actually a way of your body telling you something is not right and probably your hormones (especially estrogen and progesterone) are imbalanced. Although, in most cases, they are not dangerous, but it is important to figure out what is causing the irregularity (which may require a trip to the doctor). RESAONS/ CAUSES: Some common reasons for irregular periods: STRESS: Stress is the most common cause of irregular periods. Cortisol, the stress hormone, has a direct impact on how much estrogen and progesterone, two sex hormones, gets produced by the body. POOR DIET: Unhealthy eating and being overweight or underweight can cause irregular periods. In order for a woman to maintain a regular cycle, her body fat percentage needs to be at least 17-22 percent. EXCESSIVE EXERCISE: Excessive exercising (or even lack of it) and drastic weight changes can decrease the body fat, being underweight can offset your hormone levels, thus contributing to irregular periods. BIRTH CONTROL PILLS: When some women stop taking the pill, their periods may take one to three months to return to normal. And this can also reveal an underlying hormonal problem that was masked by taking the birth control pills. PCOS: Polycystic ovary syndrome causes cysts to form on the ovaries, interfering with regular ovulation. In fact, PCOS is far more complicated than a missed period. Talk to your doctor about this condition. THYROID: Thyroid disorders, including hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, can cause widespread symptoms like changes in estrogen and cortisol hormones and missed periods. OTHER REASONS: Some other reasons include perimenopause, menopause, pregnancy, certain medications you might be taking due to other health issues, and breastfeeding. Hope this helps.

I am having irregular period. Infact now its second month over. Please suggest a solution I am 39 years old.
Irregular cycles are common during your age because of decline in estrogen hormone. It may become scanty and can come every 2-3 months also. If you have never been screened with pap test or ultrasound is not done, then it is an opportunity for you to get it tested now.

It cannot be used as a regular contraceptive method and is quite unhealthy if taken more than twice a month. 3. The pill is to be taken soon after unprotected sex. It should be taken preferably within 24 hours and before 72 hours or else the pill may turn useless.

Dear lybrate user since every effect has a cause in the same way behind hormonal imbalance also there are several reasons so palliative, suppressive treatment can not cure you it needs a constitutional treatment for permanent cure also eat more vegetables and fruits and exercise daily.
