As she already had menses after having sex, she can not be pregnant 100%, but next time make sure you give her ipill to avoid complications.

My LMP is Jan-27, 2016 and my periods has been skipped. I checked with the home urine test and also HCG test. Both came to be positive. Hence consulted with the gynic. She had taken a scen and told me the growth seems to be only 35 days but as per the LMP it is 45 days. After 10 days she had asked to take another scan to check with the baby growth. And I had irregular periods for the last 3 months. My question is, should I have to take the scan for the baby growth? Also will there be any difference in the growth due to irregular periods. In this case should we have to consider the LMP or the scanned growth size? Please help and advice.

Congrats for positive pregnancy test in urine and blood, but your worry is ultrasound report that is just 10 days late! your cycle is irregular but I ask you can any woman tell about the time of conception (except wives whose husbands visit them on particular days, being away on job) may be it was conception that occurred on later half of cycle. Be sure about getting a positive report which may not match the chart of lmp. Bot you will make up later. You must have known about women delivering at 36 weeks or beyond 40 weeks. This is the reason, doctors presume both babies as mature and do not require any special care in nursery unit of hospital.

Pregnancy is possible only on one day of cycle, day of ovulation when ovum is released from ovary of woman. That is why couple should have 12 to 24 cycles of unprotected sex around time of ovulation before going to Gynecologist or infertility specialist for further evaluation and advise. In woman with regular cycles of 28 days this occurs on 14 th day after first day of last menstrual period. As body does not behave like mathematics, fertile period is considered as from day 10 to day 17. Intercourse during these days have higher chance of pregnancy. Those who have different cyclicity of period need to be calculated after knowing about shortest and longest interval. In a woman with irregular cycles ovulation is unpredictable and less times so meet Gynecologist early.

I had ipill last month but my periods are not coming. I had period on 19th last month. I had a cat bite and I'm taking anti rabies vaccination and antibiotics for healing wound. Is that why my period is delaying or is there any possibility of getting pregnant?

Get pregnancy test done if negative, get intrauterine device fitted lactating mothers do miss periods and they do get pregnant also, while living with a false sense of security. There's kids with a gap of exact 9 months why take a risk of another pregnancy while this baby is only a year old?
