Hi make daily routine for exercises which keeps your back fit and healthy. Exercises for back includes. I am feeling weakness if I climb up to stairs. What should I do?

X rays of both knee joints (digital) this could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikid plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don't ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Dear The best source of Vitamin D is natural sunlight. In the presence of Vit D in our body, adequate minerals are absorbed and natural healing takes place. If possible, stand with a bare back in morning sunlight for one month, 20 mins each day. No amount of medicines can replace natural sunlight.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

. Sit to Stand •Excellent hip exercises to maintain your leg and hip strength. •One of the most important exercises used daily to keep your independence and confidence. 8. Heel Stand Strengthens the front part of the lower leg with ank Strengthening exercise has many health related benefits which reduce disease and improve your functional quality of life including: •Improving your lean muscle mass. •Reducing your blood pressure which reduces your risk of stroke and coronary heart disease. •Improving your bone health to reduce the risk of osteoporosis. •Improve your glucose tolerance and insulin resistance. •Increase the strength of your low back reducing lower back pain. •Providing beneficial effects on lowering your total cholesterol. Your description of ailment is not very clear. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do exercises. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

I am 35. While skipping I have hurt portion below knee. Since then I have severe pain that refuses to subside. I am in a state of quandry not knowing what to do. Have I tore my ligaments. I can't bend my knees, and it is very painful to get up from a sitting position and while trying to sit again. Please help.

It seems it torn meniscus. Get mri at the earliest possible with best quality mri machine ie 3 tesla with cartilage mapping on mri. If it's torn meniscus or cartilage damage, treatment has to be done at the earliest because as time passes, healing gets affected.

To remove the swelling apply ice firmly and slowly over the affected area as it will reduce the inflammation and swelling. And perform some ankle exercises. If pain occurs while moving ankle go for proper investigation to rule out the exact cause.

Hi Lybrate user, do strengthening and stretching exercises for neck. Do hot water fomentation for 20 minutes. Consult orthopedic followed by Physiotherapy.

Not all patients with joint pain need surgery. Most of them can be managed without surgery. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Rule out diabetes, vit.
