At this age height increment is not possible.But you can increase your weight by balanced diet.Eat food more frequently with extra amount.Use whole cream milk or milk shake.Use weight gainer supplement.Include more dense vegetables and fruits.Take banana 3-4pcs/day.Take yogurt everyday.Add ghee,butter,cheese,cream,jam,jelly with food.Add extra healthy fat.Eat more protein rich foods like fish like tuna and other fish,egg,lean meat,soy milk,soy product,mushroom,almond,walnut,peanut,flax seed,sunflower seed.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Proper sleep and regular exercise for be fit and healthy.

jeet firstly get your thyroid checked, if thyroid is not ok consult me but if its ok and still you are loosing weight in that case, start a healthy diet which has more proteins and carbohydrates, involve in some sports activities for efficient use of your metabolism. also keep your intestine clean by drinking water in tamba (copper) lota in morning. if stomach is clean every food you eat will nourish your body.

Hello, I have developed an itching problem in winters. Whenever I do any physical activity, or I am happy or nervous, there is itching all over my skin. I am very disturbed because of it and it's happening since last 3 winter seasons. I am 17 years old. From 2 weeks I am regularly moisturizing my skin by applying oil and it's didn't helped. Please help.

Natural home remedies are - 1. Rose water and glycerin- Glycerin draws water to your body and has a cooling, hydrating effect on the skin. Mix glycerin with rose water and apply on the body for natural moisturizing effects. 2. Honey - Pamper your body with honey, which is a natural moisturizer, anti-microbial and anti-oxidant ingredient. Heat two teaspoons of honey and apply it on the itchy areas. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off. Honey traps moisture in your skin. Its anti-oxidant properties repairs the damaged skin 3. Oil- Oil is thick and provides effective protection against winter itch rashes. You can either use olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil to massage on your body after bath. If you have few extra minutes, heat the oil and then apply on the body. Make sure not to drench yourself in the oil to avoid stickiness. Just use the required amount of oil for the body. This method can also be used after evening showers before going to the bed. This is one of the effective winter itch home remedies. 4. Malai (Milk Cream) - Malai or milk cream is an age-old technique used to treat dry skin in winter. To soothe winter itch, mix two teaspoons of milk cream with a teaspoon of milk and a squeeze of lime juice. Apply this mixture on the dry and itchy areas of the body and wash it off after 30 minutes. For those who do not mind the smell of malai, they can simply rub it on the affected parts and leave it overnight. In morning, you will wake up to well-moisturised, soft and supple skin. 5. Oatmeal - A natural exfoliant and moisturiser, oatmeal is rich in vitamin E which retains moisture in the skin by forming a barrier. Grind one cup of oatmeal into a fine powder. Add a little water to the oatmeal powder to form a thick paste. Apply this mixture on the itchy skin, cover it with a cloth and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash it off with normal water. Do this daily to prevent skin itchiness. 6. Dry Fruits- Dry fruits such as almond, cashew and raisin retain moisture in the skin and effectively helps in treating extremely dry skin. Hence, make it a point to include them in your diet for quick winter itch relief. FOR preventing DRY SKIN - 1.Prevent HOT baths and showers from making dry skin worse 2.Apply moisturizer immediately after washing 3.Use MOISTURIZER 4. Bloating: The Causes & Solutions

Bloating isn't a medical condition. It doesn't necessarily mean that a person has eaten too much. It can be a case of eating wrong food which has not been digested by the body. Bloating occurs when air and water get trapped inside the stomach or intestine. As a result, the stomach gets swollen well past its normal level. (Learn more about stomach problem)

Culprits of bloating:Bloating can result from a number of cases. Fatty or junk foods are one of the biggest culprits of bloating. It hinders the digestion process and doesn't let the stomach empty on time. Carbohydrates too can cause bloating. Even carbonated drinks can play spoilsport. It creates bubbles in the stomach leading to indigestion and bloating. Some food items related to gas include cauliflower, lettuce, hard candy, beans, Brussels sprouts, broccoli etc. Apart from this, consumption of excessive junk food and soft drinks can lead to bloating.

Steps to avoid bloating: The best way to avoid bloating is to refrain from bloat causing foods as mentioned earlier. If you wear dentures (know more about dentures), it should be ensured that it fits properly. There are instances when excess air gets inside the stomach due to an improper fixture of denture leading to bloating. Eating or drinking slowly is another good way of staying away from bloating. When you eat slowly, there are fewer chances of extra air getting inside the stomach. In the case of beverage consumption, avoiding the straw is a good idea. This way the unwanted air cannot make their way inside the tummy and play foul.

Taking a small walk after every meal is another good way of staying away from bloating. This way the gas inside the tummy cannot rise above the surface. The practice of calming technique such as yoga, deep breathing and meditation also goes a long way in giving relief from bloating.

Some home remedies to get rid of bloating include:

  • A cup of ginger, lemon and honey in a cup of hot water once everyday
  • 1 cup of herbal peppermint tea freshly prepared in boiled water
  • In the case of regular stomach bloating, intake of one caraway seed on a daily basis fetches immediate results
  • Consumption of a cup of baked pumpkin twice a week
  • Consumption of warm lemon water before you start your day is another good way of keeping bloating at bay.

Bloating can also be a symptom of other intestinal related problems as well. If the general method of control and measured diet doesn't suffice, it is time to visit a doctor to find the underlying cause of your problem. Doctors perform a series of tests to understand the problem and prescribe the required medicine to control or cure the problem.

MRI IMPRESSION 29 August 2016 -Posterior diffuse disc herniation at L4 -5 level with bilateral ligamentum flavum hypertrophy causing narrowing of bilateral neural recesses with compression of bilateral traversing nerve roots at same level. -Posterior diffuse disc bulge at L5-S1 level indenting ventral thecal space at same level -Changes of lumbar spondylosis I was having pain at my right hip joint on 15/8/16. It went unbearable extending to RT leg. On 3rd September night as usual on bed all the 24 hours trying to sleep on 4th at 5 am all my pain went. Till then no pain but having burning sensation on right foot, tingling, falling rt foot asleep when I sit on chair. Please advise:- 1. Surgical intervention required? Or 2.Pregabalin,Tolperisone, methylcobalamin,Calcium and D3 with rest will cure me fully? Or 3. Somekind of spinal exercises also required? ERODHA.

Hi, it is difficult to gain height after 21. It is the expression of "GENES" that decide when and how tall you will grow. Your genes determine no less than 80 per cent of your height and new research shows that the combination of for male ,their height can increase till 21-25 years (max) approx but for females it is 18 years approx. Age is not only factor ,some people grow taller before 18 and some after. Proper diet, proper sleep and exercise plays more important role than age. And ultimately several thousand ordinary genetic variations determines your height. However, I would recommend following 1. Take Ashwagandha 2. Drink Milk 3. Indulge in Yoga 4. Stretch Your Body 5. Engage in Exercise and Sports.
