Hello Doctors: My daughter is 08 years old, she is wrapped with chicken pox since last 07 days ,please do advice the best natural treatment,(if any) to cure/eradicate all her spots on her skin, positively, please.

MD Pediatrics
Pediatrician, Vadodara
Chicken pox is a viral condition for which the treatment is only symptomatic. Take care of the child and give her more fluids, juices from fruits, protein rich diet like milk, eggs etc. Rest. Avoid spicy and oily food. Good amount of seasonal fruits.

In lactose intolerant babies, milk of any kind is not advised so mother's milk. Since you shall not feed baby. Milk is not prohibited for you. It is not curable.

Hello, Thanks for the query. The given result is normal. That is because she is taking Thyroxine (25 mcg daily). That has to be continued, otherwise there will be a number of issues. Tanks.

Hi, You can start cow's milk slowly and see how your children respond to it - whether they are able to digest it well or not. If not, you can dilute it a little, boil it and cool it and then feed your children. Also consult your gynae doctor.

My wife is a cardiac patient. She is having cough for the one week. She has been treated with antibiotics and cough syrup but no relief. Please suggest.

MD - Pulmonary, DTCD
Pulmonologist, Faridabad
To answer your question, one need proper history of patient, examination and some investigation. As cough is of less than 3 weeks without fever ,itis more likly to be due to exposure to cold. Try avoiding exposure to cold. Do saline gargling. If no response consult a physician.
