This is due to allergic rhinitis(allergy in the nose) that can be relieved by taking tab. Allegra-m daily 1 at bedtime, flomist/ezicas-f nasal spray 2 puffs twice a day and steam inhalation twice a day.

If you are having hearing problem also then get an audiometry (hearing test) done to assess amount and type of hearing loss. After that surgery (myringoplasty) can be done to repair the ear drum.

Hi, take cap. Tonsari 1-1-1 with hot water after food and tab. Lakshmivilasa ras 1-1-1 after food. These medicines should be taken for 6-8 weeks continuously. Take tab. Tribhuvanakirti ras 1-1-1 till the fever subsides. Avoid cold and refrigerated food, sweets and oil fried food. Do salt water gorgling 2-3 times a day.

Do you have pain on cheek bones on pressing it? hot fomentation is really helpful in sinus besides drink fluids, such as water or juice. This will help dilute mucous secretions and promote drainage. Avoid beverages that contain caffeine or alcohol, as they can be dehydrating. Drinking alcohol can also worsen the swelling of the lining of the sinuses and nose. Moisturize your sinus cavities. Drape a towel over your head as you breathe in the vapor from a bowl of medium-hot water. Keep the vapor directed toward your face. Or take a hot shower, breathing in the warm, moist air. This will help ease pain and help mucus drain. Apply warm compresses to your face. Place warm, damp towels around your nose, cheeks and eyes to ease facial pain. Rinse out your nasal passages. Use a specially designed squeeze bottle (sinus rinse, others), saline canister or neti pot to rinse your nasal passages. This home remedy, called nasal lavage, can help clear your sinuses. If you make your own rinse, use water that's contaminant-free distilled, sterile, previously boiled and cooled, or filtered using a filter with an absolute pore size of 1 micron or smaller to make up the irrigation solution. Also be sure to rinse the irrigation device after each use with contaminant-free water, and leave open to air-dry. Sleep with your head elevated. This will help your sinuses drain, reducing congestion.

Hi, I am having snoring problem while sleeping and I do inhale via my mouth during sleep. Eventually when I get up I get a very sore throat and my back throat and the upper soft palate becomes painful. During the day the pain reduces but the same story continues next day. To give a brief background on my case, I had a Deviated septum and tonsillitis operation last year and post that I was able to breathe good via nose. Even now I can say 80% breathing I do via nose during normal time. But during sleep it becomes worse and I breathe by mouth. The throat gets very dry and I have seen some stuffy mucus also gets struck at the back of the throat. I get it removed by my fingure. The surface of the throat becomes so sensitive if accidentally my figure touches the wall of the back throat it bleeds (very rarely though). Do you recommend any exercise or best practice to get rid of this mouth breathing during sleep? Can the nose septum again getting deviated post my last operation?

I am 42, Female. Both my ears have otosclerosis. Left ear had been operated upon 18 years ago. Couple of months back, suddenly left ear felt like clogged or blocked or stuffy kind of feeling, when people speak, I am don't understand them clearly, even TV too. It a hereditary disorder causing progressive deafness due to overgrowth of bone in the inner ear.Otosclerosis is a condition that mainly affects the stirrup (stapes), one of the tiny bony ossicles in the middle ear. To have normal hearing, the ossicles need to be able to move freely in response to sound waves. In otosclerosis, abnormal bone material grows around the stapes. The foot of the stapes, where it attaches to the cochlea, is usually where the condition starts. The abnormal bone reduces the movement of the stapes, which reduces the amount of sound that is transferred to the cochlea. The growth of the abnormal bone is very gradual. However, eventually the stapes can become fixed, or fused, with the bone of the cochlea. This can cause severe hearing loss. The hearing loss is known as conductive hearing loss (sound vibrations cannot be conducted (transmitted) from the stapes to the cochlea). Hope it is clear to you now

You are making a mistake by taking three different forms of medicine. Stick to any one either allopathic, ayrvedic or homeopathic. Allergy seems to be the culprit. Living in delhi with a highly polluted air cover one will land up with an asthmatic bronchitis. Wear a mask as far as possible when you go outdoors. Sinusitis could be because of a deviated nasal septum / enlarged inferior turbinates for which an ent check up is needed.

Hi, Repeat all the tests again if the symptoms are persisting. If then as well the reports are normal, need to probe into it further. Is there any kind of stress/ tension? As this could be one of the reasons for pain. Meantime, start take homoeopathic Heart Tonic by Schwabe Essentia Aurea /10-20 drops should be taken 3 times a day before meals.
