Take IFT over back pain area SI joint and Ust and TENS on cervical to shoulder for 2 weeks use good LS spine brace of Good quality Tynor Company do not sit on floor use chomote and avoid sofa and revolving chair.

Do u have a history of fall on that hand? Was your forearm pulled ? If not we need to check your neck as many times pain comes from the neck. Or it can be tennis elbow . Golfers elbow

Do hot fermentation. Put a towel roll under knee and press for few seconds then release repeat 20 time twice a day.

Hi lybrate-user do you have any tender point. Pain in any specific movement of elbow or wrist I would advise you to abstain from sports for a few days. Fo hot water fomentation around elbow and review with me after 3 days.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Normally these sensations are due to underlying causes related to lower back where there could be some nerve impingement, or they can be secondary to a systemic disease. You can start with physical therapy (tens) as a modality and start with low dosages of neuropathic medications like gabapentin and pregabalin and we will se how it goes in 2-3 weeks time. Also take calcium and vitamin d in regular doses as is required. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned backache as one problem and also mentioned the mri finding. Since you are very young, if you have only localized backache with no other associated symptoms like radiating leg pain, numbness, paresthesias etc, my advice to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc in case you are having back pain. If you do not feel better with these measures in 2-3 weeks time, we will need to evaluate you further. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Thanks & regards

Hii lybrate-user. The cause of your wrist pain may be an underlying ganglion in the wrist extensor tendons. Or weakness due to previous injury due to lifting weights. Use a wrist brace. Throughout the day. Can be removed at night. Hot fomentation. Nd avoid lifting weights for atleast three weeks.

Goodevening I read your question. What would help you is to wear a knee cap. Start walking with your heel first. At home do a few exercises such as ankle toe movements. Pressing the knee down and the heel down a a towel in the lying down posuiton. You could have more of protein food and that will also bulid up your stamina.

Acl tear has to be surgically repaired. Now a days we are doing it with arthroscope. It is a safe procedure, usually done under spinal anesthesia. Patient is made ambulant within 2-3 days. We have good centers in delhi where it is being routinely done with uniformly good results.

Hi there are multiple causes for shoulder pain like. Muscular, tendonitis, ligament tear etc. It will be good if you visit physiotherapist or orthopaedic doctor for diagnosis.
