Foods to be avoided in diabetes are as follows 1. Fruits: mango banana chikoo grapes pineapple and sitafal. Coconut water. 2. Vegetables: potatoes sweet potatoes 3. Rice 4. Sugar{artificial sweets} 5. Alcohol. Brisk walking at least 45 min a day. Along with the medication. Check sugar level every 2 months.

Hello, wear loose cotton underclothes. Keep the private parts dry. Change underclothes regularly. It may be due to a fungal infection which thrives in humid, wet and hot environments. Apply k-z cream twice a day on itchy areas for 6 weeks. If no satisfactory improvement, please see a local dermatologist for further assessment.

For your age you will get enough calcium from food and sunlight but still sitafal is the richest source of calcium and for proteins- soyabean, milk, eggs and pulses are richest sources. Vegetables are good for vitamins.

Dear, your vitamin-B12 levels are normal. Nothing to worry. Vitamin-D supplements are helpful in patients having bone pains due to vitamin-D deficiency. Hence you have received a perfect treatment with regards to vitamin-D deficiency.

My mother suddenly got seizure her age is 60 y, the doctor advised rest and given eption tabs, sodium and potassium levels are lower than desired level, the ct scan and eeg reports also normal, why this happen suddenly to my mom, please help me in this regard.

Dear seizure can occur at any age but also it can have many reasons. From your statement it seems that low sodium might be a cause. Low potassium does not cause seizure. However please upload all test results for a proper diagnosis and then a management plan.

1. Take one tablet of crocin advance as and when required upto a maximum of three tablets daily after food 2. Cold sponging sos 3. Drink plenty of water 4. Take rest 5. If no relief do blood examination like esr, cbc, widal/ typhidot test, blood for mp/malaria antigen, dengue antigen (ns1) test, urine re/me, x ray chest eafter consulting physician and follow the advice and treatment.

Dry cough, may be due to pollution or allergy. Get an x ray done and a complete blood picture that will show signs of allergy and infections if any, including tb. This test costs 200-300/- only. Till then take steam inhalations, salt gargles, warm water with honey, do not smoke (if you do) stay indoors with plants as they emit natural oxygen. Get back here with reports.
