GLUTEAL WEAKNESS !
Gluteal weakness may causes Knee pain.
Typical complain will be, pain only while climbing down the stair and walking down the slope.
Do proper strengthening of gluteal muscles (Abductors, Extensors and rotators of hip) for proper rehabilitation.

My wife operated for radical breast removal surgery along with limfnodes removal for breast cancer. She is experiencing lymphoedima in hand and hand is swollen. Please advise what type of physio exercise is recommended?

She requires to drain the fluid which gets collected in limbs. She requires to go for physio, physio will give better advice on oedema reduction and pain if present.

Give some rest to your body, if pain goes away then ask trainer to go slow on you focus on only body weight exercises in the beginning then start with weights. Evenn after rest pain continues then see a physio.

Hello doctor I have delivered to a baby . And I have c-section I am getting back pain where anasthesia is given. Can I've permanent solution for this problem

MPTh/MPT
Physiotherapist, Mumbai
Hello, Congratulations for a baby. Well, the back pain is one of the complication of post C section, it does not occur due to injection. It normally happens due to flabbyness of the abdominal muscle which makes it weak, and puts undue pressure over back bones. For your question:- Yes! you can have a permanent solution for see a Physiotherapist for proper post natal exercise training.
