I am heart patient ,using medicine regularly. Wt should I use mustard oil or olive oil?

I am heart patient ,using medicine regularly. Wt should I use mustard oil or olive oil?
Dear lybrateuser, -Both are heart healthy oils, olive oil contains more monounsaturated fats & antioxidents as compared to mustard oil, do not use olive oil for deep frying as its burning point is low -whichever oil you use, consume not more than 1-2 teaspoon a day as they have saturated fats which are harmful for the body if taken in large quantities & are also calorie dense which addlot of calories to the diet -the healthier heart friendly methods are, baking, grilling, boiling, steaming.

I'm not very clear about your blood pressure, so clarify on that. Stress can lead to fatigue, tiredness. You may feel like you have no energy or interest in doing anything. Take a multivitamin everyday. Make some dietary changes: avoid processed foods, reduce caffeine and increase fresh vegetables. As contradictory as this may sound, get some exercise. Sleep adequately. You can consult me for further management if required.

General Physician,
BENEFITS OF WATER TO GOOD HEALTH

Water can improve and prevent many conditions in your health. Water can boost your metabolism by in 30 percent in healthy men and women. A study showed that the boost happens within 10 minutes but reached a maximum 30-40 minutes after drinking.

Water can protect your heart. A study was done for six years and it was found that people who drank more than five glasses of water a day were 41 percent less likely to die from a heart attack during the study period than those who drank less than two glasses.
Water may be reduce your risk for certain cancers. Research shows that staying hydrated can reduce risk of colon cancer by 45 percent, bladder cancer by 50 percent, and possibly reduce breast cancer risk, too.

Water prevents migraine headaches. In a study there were two groups of migraine sufferers: one took a placebo and the others were told to drink 1.5 liters of water in addition to their usual daily intake. At the end of two weeks, the water group had experienced 21 fewer hours of pain than those in the placebo group, as well as a decrease in pain intensity.
Water can improve brainpower. The brain needs a lot of oxygen to function at optimum levels, so drinking plenty of water ensures that it?s getting all it needs. Drinking eight to 10 cups of water per day can improve your levels of cognitive performance by as much as 30 percent.

You had a cardiac arrest & gastric ulcer in the past and both are related to stress and wrong eating habits and you are only 30. Spondilitis is also bothering you but good news for you is that all cardiac reports are normal now. Take a second opinion and get tested again if you have breathless and tightness of chest, get lungs examined by doing a spirometry test, may be it is a respiratory problem due to pollution/ smoking.

Too much cholesterol in the blood can lead to cardiovascular disease. What you eat has a direct impact on your cholesterol level. In fact, a diet rich in fiber and other cholesterol-lowering foods may help lower cholesterol as much as statin medication for some people. Working with a registered dietitian and doctor is the key to develop and maintain a successful health program to manage it. I will inform you on how to make diet , lifestyle changes , make you understand instructions for taking medication because it won't work if you don't take it as directed. Consult privately for a holistic dietary therapy to solve your problems

Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines . cap. ecosprin gold-20 at night.
