Dear Lybrateuser, - Supporter is needed for athletes as the exercise & weight training routine can strain the abdominal & pelvic structures, also will help in preventing hernia - do inguinal (groin) stretching exercises which can help reduce pain, also do warm up by stretching for 5-10 min before the run or any other activity.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Whey protein is generally safe & does not have side effects if taken in appropriate dose - higher doses can cause side effects like increased bowel movements, thirst, cramps, weakness, tiredness, bloating, nausea & loss of appetite - consumption will depend on your other sources of protein intake, level of activity & the protein content of the brand per gram of powder, normal protein requirement of the body per day is about 1gm/ kg of body weight.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Weakness can be there after the infection - have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables, whole grains, protein foods - sleep well & do regular exercise to keep fit.

I don't eat every fruit and vegetable since childhood now I am 22 years old. I only eat few selected fruits apples, Grapes, dates except these I don't eat any fruit from vegetables I just eat potato. It didn't effect my overall health but now I'm suffering from hair fall I tried to eat some fruit but I could nog. Dear lybrateuser, - To prevent hair fall you have to have a well balanced diet with seasonal fruits, vegetables including green & seasonal ones, whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice, oats, corn, barley instead of refined ones, protein rich foods including milk & milk products, eggs, nonveg, legumes, pulses, sprouts, nuts especially almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts, healthy fats as in sea food, olive, canola or sunflower oil, avocado, nuts - the more variety of food you have, the more number of nutrients it provides - also have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water per day for proper hydration.

I am a health conscious person. Eating healthy and fresh thing is my way of living. But from last few months. I am having a problem. And I try to resolve it on my way. But didn't find a proper solution. The Problem is "After 4-5 hrs of lunch .My stomach start bloating" Even I don't feel hungry. But Still it bloat. Dear Lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to acidity - chew your food well, have meals on time, do not skip meals, have 4-5 meals including snacks, do not lye down for 1-2 hrs after meals - avoid fried, spicy, sour & junk foods, also restrict tea, coffee intake to 1-2 cups per day, also restrict chocolate, dairy products, mint, legumes & pulses which are gas producing - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration - take a walk for 10 -15 min after meals - take tablet Pan 40, 1 tablet half an hour before breakfast.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Usually heart beat below 60 is seen in trained professional athletes - it can be normal for you if you do not have any symptoms like lightheadedness, fatigue or tiredness doing normal activities, blackout, fainting - to rule out any problem it is advisable to do an ECG & consult a physician.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your problem is due to piles (hemorrhoids) - avoid constipation & straining at stools - have more of fibre containing foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, nuts, seeds - have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water per day - avoid fried, spicy, processed & junk foods - apply Smuth gel before & after defecation - have a sitcom forte tablet once every morning after breakfast - avoid constipation & chronic cough.

Dear lybrateuser, - To improve your condition you have to take short breaks every hour or two - sit on a straight back chair so that your spine is straight, keep the laptop at eye level & try to keep neck straight when sitting - learn neck exercises & do it 1-2 times a day - also your pillow & mattress should be firm & support your neck & shoulders when sleeping - take a pain relief tablet after meals if pain is more move your neck as frequently as possible when you are operating the laptop - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables, whole grains, protein foods & healthy fats to provide you with energy & you don't feel tired - also have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration - sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night & exercise regularly to keep your body fit & agile - also check your blood hemoglobin, sugar & cholesterol if not done recently, also your BP to rule out any other problem.

Dear lybrateuser, - Masturbation does not cause any health problem - there is no medicine to stop or reduce the habit, it is your own willpower & control which can break the habit - divert & keep your mind busy in your studies or job, play a game or follow a hobby, do regular exercise to keep fit, avoid reading or watching pornographic material - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains & proteins.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Avoid constipation & straining at stools - have more of fibre containing foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, pulses, sprouts, nuts (a handful daily) - avoid fried, spicy, processed & junk foods, also alcohol & smoking if you do - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-10 glasses of water for proper hydration - apply Lox 2% gel before & after defecation - take sitcom tablet forte, once daily morning - do sitz bath (sit in a vessel with warm water for 10-15 min 2-3 times a day).

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your homocysteine level is on the higher side, it may be due to low vit B12 level - for B12 & vit D deficiency take food rich in these vitamins, also vit d can be obtained by exposure to sunlight for 10-15 min - increased homocysteine level is an indicator of cardiovascular & cerebrovascular disease in future, it can be treated with folate, vit B6 & vit B12.

Dear lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to acidity - have meals on time, do not skip meals, chew your food well, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime for proper digestion - take Syrup gelusil, 1 tablespoonful three times a day half an hour after meals - avoid fried, spicy & junk food, also sour foods, alcohol & smoking if you do.

Dear lybrateuser, - Open the cap of the spray can, spray from a distance of 4-5 inches from the affected site, spray in a circular manner if affected area is large - does not make any difference if sprayed near or far, avoid spraying on open wound as it will produce a burning sensation.

Dear Lybrateuser, - It is very rare to suffer from prostate enlargement at your age but take some precautions to keep it healthy: - reduce weight by diet & exercise to acceptable range for your height & age (consult a dietician for a diet programme) - have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water per day - have more of fruits, vegetables & whole grains, restrict fried, processed & junk foods - empty your bladder whenever you feel the urge, try not to hold urine for a long time - empty bladder at night before going to bed - have lycopene containing foods like tomatoes, watermelon, tomato ketchup - avoid alcohol & smoking if you do - do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming to reduce weight & keep your body fit.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your friend should avoid constipation & straining at stool - have more of fibre containing foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains beans, pulses, lentils, peas, sprouts, nuts - avoid fried, spicy, refined & junk food - have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water per day - apply Smuth gel before & after defecation - take a pain relief tablet 2-3 times after meals - mix a tablespoon of isabgol powder in a glass of warm water & have it one hour before bedtime at night daily - do not strain & sit for too long while passing stool.

Dear lybrateuser, - Use a cushion or pillow to sit, as any pressure on the part will aggravate the problem - do spinal exercises to strengthen the paraspinal muscles which will help reduce pain - take a pain relief tablet after meals 2-3 times a day - do x-ray of affected area to rule out any injury to bone.

Dear Lybrateuser, -Wash your face with a mild cleanser & lukewarm water twice a day, also whenever sweating is there - avoid exposure to direct sunshine, apply a sunscreen (SPF 15-30) before going out - do not apply creams & lotion & make up - do not pick with nails on the area as it can leave a scar - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables, whole grains, protein foods, avoid fried, spicy & junk foods - have plenty of oral fluids with at least 7-8 glasses of water.
