Do better don't continue the exercise unless to rule out any internal muscle strain or of pathological reasons do take ust and laser therapy for pain relief for 12 days followed by strengthening exercise from neuro physiotherapist best wishes.

My mom had suffered from a lower back pain for nearly 2 years. We r going to many doctor but no relief from their medicines. You might have start earning now kindly see your sitting arrangement are as per your requirement and at home your bed is hard and thick matress over it do physical fitness exercises and spinal extension exercises too.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference? Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You pain in your shoulder region is only since 2 days for which no specific management is required if there is no significant history of any injury or any other s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness or local warmth etc. You can start with ice packs, anti inflammatory medications which suits you, avoiding physical activities and observe for a period of 5-7 days, if your symptoms are getting better, then it's ok otherwise we will have to investigate you further. Hello lybrate user, - if pain is more than 6 months then take x-ray to rule out the disc or bone involvement - for now apply mahanarayana taila and take hot fomentation to relive the pain - after investigation you can consult and can take panchakarma treatment which is required for you. Thank you.

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight (even while sitting or standing), avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Always select a chair with proper back support and hand-rest. (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Apart from these, stress could be the major cause of pains! Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Sit straight with a back-rest or back-support. -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

In my leg, thigh feeling pain like some putting neddle. As per doctor test vt-d test. It was less I took tablet but still same pain.

Kindly show me x ray of your ankle (front & side views) before I can give any opinion. Pain in heels /leg/thigh is a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ankle/foot & toe exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 62+ handicapped. I get severe cramp and pain in my only healthy foot/leg (knee down onwards) while sleeping in night. I get a feeling as if my only leg too getting paralyzed. I get up and start walking under severe pain. It takes about an hour to come to normal. I walk with help of a pair of under arm crutches. I am also diabetic and on insulin. Is there a remedy. Otherwise I am healthy:-)

Dear , it appears that due to prolonged diabetes your large arteries at leg are getting affected. In a diabetic person it is a serious sign of compromise of blood supply to the limb. I suggest you to immediately get a colour doppler of the lower limb done and discuss this issue with your physician.

Hello, Kindly go for cervical X ray AP and lateral and review with reports and follow following advises 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered Trainer) 3. you can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4.Maintain proper posture of body while watching TV/ studying

My Father is 67 years OLD and is suffering from Rumetoid arthritis. The knees does not have grease anymore and doctors are prescribing the replacement as a solution.
