Do hot fermentation twice a day. Get your uric acid (blood test) done. Avoid eating chilled and sour food items. Take gokshuradi guggul 2-2-2 amrutaadi guggul 2-2-2 rasnadi guggul 2-2-2 all these for atleast 6 months.

I give the observations of lumbosacral spine mri with the request to advice me in the matter. End plate fatty marrow changes are seen at inferior endplace of l5 and superior end plate of s1 vertebra. Diffuse disk bulge pre dominently lateralised to right side is seen at l5-s1 level causing narrowing of bilateral lateral recesses, compression over bilateral traversing and left existing nerve roots. Ligamentatum flavum hypertrope, bilateral interfacet joint hypertropexy and diffuse disk bulge is seen at level l4-5 causing indentation over interior tsecalsac, plumping and crowding of nerve fibres of cauda equina, narrowing of bilateral neural foramina, compression over bilateral exiting and traversing nerve roots. Bilateral interfacet joint hypertrophy and diffuse disk bulge is seen at l 3-4 level causing indentation over interior thecal sac, clumping and crowding of nerve fibres of cauda equina, narrowing of bilateral lateral recesses and compression over bilateral traversing nerve roots. I shall thank you if you could go throw the findings of the mri and would physio/medicines help. I am aged 57 and in a sitting job in a bank from 9.00 to 7.00 pm. How much rest can be helpful as I am suffering from acute pain in my lower back and unable to sit as I feel pain in the tail also, thanks and regards

Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Tennis Elbow - How To Prevent It?

Tennis elbow is a condition, which is characterized by the inflammation of the tendons occurring in the elbow region due to excess use of the muscle groups present in the overarm. Tennis elbow can cause a lot of distress once it occurs so it is best to perform certain exercises to strengthen the muscle groups in your overarm so that muscle strain does not occur during your physical activities.

Read on more to find about all the different ways to strengthen your muscle groups to prevent tennis elbow:

  1. Staying in good physical shape overall tones your body and strengthens your muscle groups, thus reducing the likelihood of tennis elbow.
  2. It is also important that the physical activities, which are performed by you are done using proper technique as otherwise undue strain might cause unnecessary discomfort and pain.
  3. You should try strengthening the muscles in your shoulder, arm and upper back to reduce the stress your elbow undergoes during physical activity.
  4. In a sports player in cricket or in tennis players, it occurs with repetitive stress on structures with continued faulty technique. So, in order to prevent tennis elbow specially in players, it is very important to know correctly gripping of a racket or cricket bat or playing a particular stroke.
  5. Using a counterforce brace for activities, which include twisting or grasping of the arm can also help. The use of a counterforce brace is to distribute the pressure throughout the arm, which reduces the stress on the elbow. The brace is highly recommended for people who are likely to develop tennis elbow. One should consult a doctor before opting for a counter brace. 

However, it is not a substitute for rehab exercises. If repeated arm movements or certain physical activities are causing discomfort or pain in the elbow region, check for alternative ways of performing the task. If you have taken up tennis, cricket or golf as a sport, it is highly recommended that you take proper lessons in technique as these sports involve twisting and grasping your arm, which can cause injuries if you do not follow proper techniques. Also keep in mind to choose sports equipments which are at par with your physical fitness, flexibility and strength.

For daily activities, take a note of the activities, which involve putting stress on your elbows. In such instances follow techniques or different ways to perform the tasks, which will put minimum stress or pressure on your elbows. Also, Apart from strengthening the extensor muscle group, it is also important to stretch those muscles to offload the pressure developed during particular task. Hold extensor group for 30 sec at a time on a stretch, 10 repetitions twice a day will definitely prevent the person who involved in job which requires tight gripping, wrenching, shaking, wrist extension and a lot of writing. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Physiotherapist.

Spine block injection is a very vague terminology. Details provided by you are little to give accurate information. For back pain due to disc problems an injection called Epidural steroid injection is done by pain specialist. This works very well to decrease pain and patient can do effective physiotherapy. Epidural injection is a type of spine injection. The drug is injected in epidural space (surrounding the spinal cord) which decreases the inflammation and pain of disc pressing on nerve. The procedure is done in operation theatre by interventional pain specialist using X Ray machine. It relieves pain and patient can easily start physiotherapy after this. Back pain associated with leg weakness, loss of control over urine and stools requires urgent decompression surgery. In your case you should get consultation with a pain specialist and get MRI Lumbo sacral spine done and proceed accordingly with further treatment.

Dear most probably you mother has cervical spondylitis and need proper evaluation and once diagnosis is confirmed it can be successfully treated with conservative treatment. If she is not responding then I would do spinal manipulation and make her alright non operatively.

I had a small cyst type thing on my left hand wrist . But now i am experiencing increase of these things in numbers . I already consulted so many alopathic doctors who says that is not cancerious and doesn't has any certain reason or remedy . But homeopathic docs says that it is nerofibroma/nerofibrosys etc . Please tell me if there is any medicine ?

I am a 76 years old man, with history of hypertension and type 2 diabetes, both of which are under control. Since 6 months, the fingers of my left hand are progressively becoming stiff, swollen and painful, but the right hand is ok.

In diabetes some times arthritic problems with fingers do develop. You may take diclofenac or aciclofenac for a few days (tab voveran 75 mg sr once at night after food) and also keep bending and straightening the fingers regularly. May apply ice to reduce swelling. Try this out. Tab voveran may cause acidity if taken on empty stomach.

Using knee cap is not a problem you can use it for long not an issue but remove it while rest. Strengthening & isometric exes play an important role in knee pain. Support help you to avoid stress & jerks on the joint while walking no harm.
